@@grondhero He is not talking about stadium capacity. He is talking about continuous square footage between the new South Endzone, the New Football Practice Facility, and the Indoor Practice Facility which will all be connected.
Yup, the new south end zone looks pretty impressive. They also added a larger jumbotron in the north endzone and two smaller ones in the south endzone that aren't pictured.
Boone Pickens Stadium is also reputed to be one of the hardest places to play, I can say from experience that it can get ridiculously loud at full capacity. Old pictures for BYU's stadium. It's jumbotron is a lot bigger, has ribbon board displays all around the stadium, and new lights as well. It also now has a walkway that connects all the upper portals now for all sections. I wish they'd just connect all 4 sections, which would increase capacity, and make it look so much better, but it's ok.
Houston’s is small but very nice. I was near death the entire time though it was so hot. after playing half time with the goin band people were passing out in those heavy wool uniforms. Despite it I was still very impressed.

Arizona's stadium reminds me quite a bit of K-State's digs. I'm in Manhattan for a couple of years while I do my doctoral work at K-State so I'm quite familiar with our stadium; which is very nice and perfectly sized. I've been to Memorial at KU as well but that's it. I'm hoping to visit West Virginia and maybe Iowa State this year. West Virginia seems very likely. I've always wanted to get to Folsom and Cougar/LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo but those trips will have to wait.
Thank you, I think I was a bit harsh on Kansas state, K-State won the Poptart bowl this year, but they did let Iowa State put up 42 on them. It should be noted though they put up 35 in that game
Arizona Stadium does have dorms, my Pops lived there when he was an underclassman. Also, beneath the stadium is the main NASA mirror facility where they create mirrors for telescopes. Also also, it holds 57k not 50.
That would be such a cool place to say I lived at! Personally, I just stick to one source for stadium capacities as they can be very inconsistent. I have no doubt that if that number (57K) came from the school that it is correct. Problem is not all schools post their official capacities so I couldn't do that for every vid. I appreciate the useful information though and I hope people see your comment
Couple things wrong. Nippert Stadium for UC was first established in 1908 where it was Carson Field. Secondly it’s not the home of FC Cincinnati, their stadium is called TQL Stadium and it’s on the west end of the city.
Thank you! From what I’ve read though it was at least the temporary home for FC Cincinnati for a few seasons, although I may be incorrect. Also that 1915 number was when the first actual brick structure was laid down and there where actually talks of a stadium being built where nippert now stands going all the way back in 1895
Jack Trice Stadium is way more than just the stadium. To really understand why Iowa State is known for one of the best tailgating experiences in America, you have to see how much space around the stadium is set up for tailgating. Next year, CyTown will be finished, which is a $200 million GameDay experience similar to the power and lights district of Kansas City around the Chiefs stadium. Add in the monument to Jack Trice and the letter he wrote, and you will start to see why it is such an amazing place when the Tornado sirens start blaring to start the game.
You used some old photos for the bill brother. There are now four Jumbotrons (one on each corner) and a brand new south end zone (that connect the stadium to the mbb arena) called the shamrock zone
I agree wholeheartedly that every stadium here needs more chairbacks; Okla. State is adding chairbacks to their stadium as we speak. You are right, KU needs to upgrade their food stands; however, they have a great place across the street (Topper's Pizza). When I lived in KC I would go to games at KU, order my pizza in the 3rd quarter, and pick it up on the way out. Your pics of OkState and KSU are a bit old. In Stillwater, Cordell Hall was torn down. KSU just did a renovation at the end zone closest to the basketball arena, and there are club and suite seats up top now. As a whole this was a good video, and I subscribed; I just ask that you do the same for me.
