www.How2Wrench.com broke the mold of the delivery of tech training. We offer professional tech training over the phone. Your shop, your schedule. If you have Apple products, we can even provide guided assistance over Facetime. (I suggest asking a friend to borrow theirs now!)
Imagine this… you’re in your shop wrenching away and you get stuck. You just hit a wall and no matter how hard you try, you can’t find a next step. You reach for the phone and hit speed dial. The number saved in your favorites is your personal coach at How2wrench! No sitting through hours of TH-cam videos, websites or giving up!
You can schedule time with a veteran technician to walk you through what you’re wrenching on. You can email info, photos and details directly to trainer. It’s the next closest thing to us sitting right next to you.
This service is intended to fill the gap in many areas of need. Let me list a few:
The DIY person needing help with a specific skill
A tech just needing an advanced lesson or next step in their knowledge base
Someone who would give anything to drop everything and move to a tech school but life just didn’t deal those cards. They understand the learning curve may take longer but are relentless in their desire to learn.
Observant parents lacking the skill sets to teach their kids mechanics but see them craving to use tools and their hands.

Hi Shane, you truly make great videos that are extremely helpful!
I watched all your videos in one day. I trust that you can answer my question. I usually do most work on my bike myself. I have tried all that I can, replacing t stem bearings, checking fork alignment, handlebars assembly, but there is always a slight shake in the handle bars if I hit bumps. Any suggestions on what I might be overlooking?

Mr. Conley, has anyone ever mentioned the issue with removing one part of a fluid filled item, before removing the fluid filler part??
I worked for one of those quick lube places when I was younger. As part of my training, it was mandatory to remove the oil fill cap, before removing the oil filter or drain plug, just in case it was necessary to do extra work accessing the the fill point.
Then later on, I was assisting (watching) a friend do this exact job. When he went to fill the forks, the fill cap had been stripped/cross threaded, and he wasn't able to gain access. This rendered the fork/motorcycle useless until further work could be done!! It took some time to fix it, and he ended up paying for a new fork tube. Just a thought. Maybe some issues could be avoided until a reasonable time frame could be setup. If the customer rode the bike to your shop, and ended up not being able to ride home, until parts or repairs could be procured!!

This bike's fork "has to be removed to gain access to the filler cap. It's under the handlebar. Your point does apply at many times turning wrenches. You find in my videos what I'm teaching is a "skill set" Like in this case, there are two main points. How to support the motorcycle and how to use the triple trees as your vise. The goal of the learned skill set is to think of other areas and times when "thinking outside the box" will save you time and money or allow you to push through a job....safely!
