    PLEASE READ:
I made two kinda big mistakes in this video. Read below:
It came to my attention that I didn't calculate the percentage at the end correctly.
It should be 1.8%, not 0.018%.
Also, I included Zoroaster and Buddha in the "Ancient Deities" section. I meant to include them with the other figures merely as examples of persons prior to Jesus that were revered in similar ways. I didn't mean to say that they were worshipped as deities. Apologies for that. I should have labelled that section differently to avoid the confusion.
Thanks to all who pointed these out. :)

Julian, here is the artificial Great Divide between all religions and all men. Because, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. And no matter how men might try to define GOD, this doesn't change the fact that GOD IS WHAT GOD IS! "I AM THAT I AM." And I happen to be the prophesied return of the biblical prophet Elijah. Once you know exactly WHAT GOD IS, you will begin to know what YOU are and what "satan" is. And all of this makes perfect sense once you know the best-kept secret in this entire world of limitation - which is, THE REASON WHY YOU ARE EXPERIENCING IT. "Truth is simple," says GOD. And, through Yours Truly, this information has been condensed into a tiny inspired book that one can read online (at no cost) in about FIVE MINUTES. All important mysteries have been revealed in these "end times," which are the birth pangs of the Second Coming of Christ, which involves the awakening of the Christ within YOU. If you want to know more, "seek and ye shall find."

"it seems unreasonable for God to have shown up 2,000 years ago and not in the modern day when we can just take a video of him."
What they call the "modern day" in the sense required is a RESULT of Christendom, and it took 1600 to 2000 years to do it. In the mid teen hundreds a fundamental change took place catalyzed by 3 big changes that happened almost at the same time. The Protestant Reformation, the printing press and the firearm. The first two were connected directly with Christianity (first big printing was the Gutenburg Bible) directly and the last two indirectly through the breakthroughs in what came to be known as "science" (and its symbiote: technology), an outgrowth of the Christian outlook on the world.
Protestantism created the modern libertarian west. We (Protestants) ended slavery; implemented religious freedom, political freedom, academic freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of the press FIRST, and thus caused the academic, scientific, technological, and material progress that followed; and most of the rest of the world hasn't caught up with it yet. John 8:32 "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.
There was about a 200 year window of time, starting in the Victorian era and ending as we speak where the technology and mores of the West collaborated to give truth the advantage in the society over lies and error. There was a holdover of Victorian sensibility in general and specifically in the ideals of scholarship, journalism, and statesmanship. Cheap books (via printing and industrial methods) disseminated knowledge and the technologies of photography, sound recording, and their successors cinema, television, and even digital media at first made it easy to portray certain aspects of truth, and difficult to falsify them. (Not impossible, Dan Rather in his reporter days routinely staged scenes and passed them off as candid news clips, and the "60 Minutes" "news documentary series" routinely edited interviews to distort the meaning and context of interviewee replies, but acting and editing aside the tech and society still favored truth.) This window is now closing as moral integrity in our institutions erodes and the tech begins to favor fakery (CGI, Deep Fake, AI generated video). Even Photo Shop did not exist in the '50s. The original version came out in 1988. Before the 80s there were no computers capable of remotely significant digital image processing and we didn't have photorealistic CGI until the 90s.
But anyway, if God had just waited a few thousand years He still wouldn't have found such a window of time as the "New Atheists" claim to prefer.

What always gets me is that 500 people said they saw Jesus post-resurrection.. and testified under the threat of death. What would they have to gain, to risk their lives on a lie? Nothing. The answer is nothing. They had nothing to gain by testifying that Jesus lives, and they had everything to lose. That is a weighted testimony.

No human being is that good, no human being would do any of that, at some point along a humans' journey, we would falter, or curse those who curse us, but not him, not Jesus, our lord, our God & our savior. God relegated himself to a man and paid the price we could not afford, all for his glory, all because he loved us, that's the reason a man would have, to claim to be the son of God and not profit from it

imagine living in that short period in which all the previous religions stood before you, everyone around you was a devout believer in some god and you yourself were swayed in as well, while prophets around you interpret the word of their gods and preach of their destinies in heavens.
The hype itself would make something happen just so that people wouldn't get depressed en masse about the nature of reality and their part in it.
There are reasons well beyond personal gain for those people to lie under the threat of death. There is also no way to prove who said what, who heard what and who wrote what.

    • @supremo7217

@@eric.1948 You are right God was sorry for humanity, but he is sorry because of what we've become, and sorry that he needs to wipe them in the time of Noah Gen 6:7.
But why did he come to sacrifice himself? In John 15:13 Jesus states that the greatest love that someone can show is to sacrifice your life for your friends, so he did. To show that even with our sins, even if we hardened our hearts to the point that God needs to wipe us all, he still has great love for us.
But why wipe us and send sinners to hell if he loves us? Because God in the Bible cannot contradict his attribute for it is eternal, and one of his attributes is Justice, he needs to practice it in order to fulfill his duty.
But hell in the Bible is actually a second death, which means you won't exist anymore. It was described as "outer darkness and blazing fire" that was made for the fallen angels. That description actually matches the visuals of a Black Hole, and some theories states that black holes collapse informations of a matter, and holds it in for eternity. And some theory states that if you make the universe as old as it can be, only black holes would exist for it would've absorbed all the matter and energy left in the universe.
That's maybe why in the BIBLE it was revealed that the paradise Jesus has prepared for us is like a new earth where no death and temptation exist. Maybe that paradise would be made in a new universe, with new laws of physics, mathematics and logic etc.

Obviously, Christianity has been successful, but so has Islam, and perfection is hardly a quality that comes to mind in these patriarchal and divisive religions. Also what about this theory -
In an alternate historical scenario where Alexander the Great diverted his conquest westward and successfully captured and occupied the early Roman Empire, the repercussions on the course of history would have been profound and far-reaching. The absence of the Roman Empire, a powerful and influential civilization known for its territorial expansion, cultural impact, and enduring legacy, would have reshaped the political, social, and religious landscape of the ancient world.
The rise of Rome as a dominant superpower in the Mediterranean region would have been prevented, altering the dynamics of power and influence in the ancient world. Without the Roman Empire, the region of Israel would have been spared from Roman occupation, leading to a different set of historical events and outcomes.
One of the most significant consequences of the absence of Roman occupation in Israel would have been the alteration of the narrative surrounding Jesus of Nazareth and his Crucifixion. The Roman authorities played a pivotal role in the events that led to Jesus' Crucifixion, as it was a Roman prefect who ultimately sentenced him to death. In a world where Alexander the Great conquered the early Roman Empire, the circumstances surrounding Jesus' life, teachings, and ultimate fate would have unfolded differently.
Furthermore, the Crucifixion of Jesus is central to Christian belief, as it is viewed as the fulfillment of numerous prophecies found in the Old Testament. Without Jesus' Crucifixion, these prophecies would remain unfulfilled, impacting the religious beliefs and practices of millions of followers around the world.
The hypothetical scenario of Alexander the Great's westward conquest and occupation of the early Roman Empire raises thought-provoking questions about the interconnectedness of historical events and their enduring consequences.

Even more amazing is how Jesus fulfilled many of the prophesies he had no control over: see how just a few things divide him from the rest of the world population. Each item listed takes chance out of the equation: Must be born a male, from the Israeli population, from one specific tribe out of 12 - Judah; from one of the tribes of Judah - Jesse. In the line of the kingly family of king David. Born before the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. Born of a virgin as prophesied 450 years before. Overlay this with the hundreds of other prophesies given and even Jesus’ own words of what would happen to him and there is no question that Jesus is trustworthy when He says “I am the way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
Many people will refuse to believe no matter what proof is given. It isn’t a question of intelligence, but one of morality. To trust and obey Jesus means giving up your sin. It means if God exists we are accountable to. Holy God. 0:00

You just write nonsense! Jesus fulfilled ZERO messianic prophecies. There is no "virgin" birth prophecy anywhere in the Bible. What has been translated (from the Hebrew) as "virgin" in Isaiah 7:14 just means "young woman" (Hebrew: "almah"), and moreover that entire chapter in Isaiah is out of context for Jesus.
Jesus was not a descendant from the tribe of Judah. Even supposing that Joseph (the supposed stepfather) was from the tribe of Judah, if Jesus was born of a virgin, then he was not from that tribe and not of the seed of David. So the virgin birth fiction given in the Gospels only refutes the tribe of Judah claim.

@@derekjames9226 , you made the claim. Why don't YOU try to support it? I can't argue or discuss with them, but I can with you.
I base my argument not just on the meaning of the Hebrew word "almah" (signifying "young woman"), but on the context of the chapter as well, which does not comport with Jesus or his time. For example, note verse 17: "The Lord will bring on you and on your people and on the house of your father a time unlike any since Ephraim broke away from Judah-he will bring the king of Assyria.”
Did Jesus live anywhere near the time of the Assyrian empire? No, _Assyria didn't even exist at the time of Jesus,_ because it had been destroyed by the Persians centuries earlier, and Israel was ruled by Rome. So how is Assyria even in context for Jesus?
Moreover, there is no evidence that Mary even called Jesus "Immanuel" (verse 14)! The sign that prophet Isaiah was referring to was the destruction of the two kings feared by king Ahaz (the Jewish king whom Isaiah was addressing), which was to happen before the prophesied child was old enough to distinguish between right and wrong (verses 15-16). In summary, there is absolutely nothing in Isaiah chapter 7 that points to Jesus, and nothing Christological in it.
The same goes for the rest of the Tenakh: in the light of CONTEXT, each and every Christian messianic claim collapses, including the book of Isaiah and Daniel. Jesus isn't anywhere in the Hebrew scriptures in any coherent way.

Nobody has any problems with Jesus as a person/dude/teacher/guy with a beard/guy that drinks water and poops like the rest of us. We have problems with him and people saying he's the one true God that came to save us. His CLAIMS. Even though there is no way to prove he never sinned. There is no way to prove that he was actually God. There is no way to prove that he actually rose from the dead. There is no way to prove that he performed miracles. All of these things are easily explainable. The whole of Jesus character as 'God' (outside of just being a teacher) is based on literal magic.
The burden of proof lies on Christians. Not non-Christians. Christians are the ones that rely on magic (you may call it faith or acts of God, but it is just magic under a different name). It's like if I were to proclaim that Flying Unicorns exist. The burden of proof doesn't lie on people that don't believe in Flying Unicorns. The burden of proof lies on the people that believe in Flying Unicorns.
It's the same with people that believe that Jesus is literally God. It simply doesn't make sense. I spent years trying to make sense of it, but every dead end is always bridged to another with 'faith' (again, magic with a different name). If the burden of proof had been 'proofed' yet by Christians, there wouldn't be a debate to be had. But, we know that magic isn't real, and that every magic trick is explainable, so there is no reason to believe in Christianity and Jesus as God.

There had to be a hierarchical authority within God’s Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, to discern and make a declarative answer on what writings were to be declared divinely inspired, right? Welp, that did happen many, many years ago and all thanks to the Catholic Church. :) People want to reject that fact, though, and don’t want to submit themselves to the Catholic Church; a few major reasons is because of Church teaching regarding contraception, active homosexuality and abortion. @@ayoobi1691 The correct way of saying what you just said is that Jesus was a historical figure, which is undeniable at this point. The greatest understanding for what it means to be christian comes from the various epistles sent by the apostles, which is one of the most important parts of the new testament. I agree that the first part of the video suffers from confirmation bias and is stupid, however the second part is important because god revealed himself to the israelites and their nation was about to get destroyed, which means that the messiah had to arrive before the romans did their thing. Also it is impossible to know that humanity would have been able to reach the technological point it has today without the existence of christianity.

Jesus could not have come today because today would not exist without Jesus coming 2000 years ago.
Our modern society, our "today", was built thanks to the scientific method, but where did the scientific method come from? It came from Christians who believed that Man is made in God's image and that God himself wants us to come to know him. Judeo/Christian philosophy also believes that God created the universe and set it into motion, but lets it operate by itself in an orderly fission via the mechanisms he put in place. (Any times he overrides these mechanisms, we get events that we call "miracles".) Belief in an orderly universe does not come naturally. Looking at nature, absent our modern knowledge, one would conclude that the universe is cyclical and chaotic. Not orderly and rational, starting at a beginning and playing out towards an ultimate goal.
So, believing that the universe is a complex machine created by God AND that we are made in his image, it follows that we can understand how the universe operates, just as God knows. We just have to find ways to determine what those mechanisms are.
So, in the end, the reason we have modern science and modern society is because of the contributions of Jesus setting us on the right path so we ended up with the today that we have. Like a parent who sets up the pieces, but lets their child go through the process of putting everything together to learn and grow.

Exactly. America and our modern society as we know it wouldn't even exist without Christianity.
First, Spain only sent Columbus *after* the Islamic forces had been pushed out of Europe.
Even then, Cristobal Colon/Christopher Columbus was partially looking for a faster way to be a missionary to Asia (also looking for a faster way to get the riches of Asia from trade) by avoiding the Silk Road.
Last, the Pilgrims came over to America for religious freedom to worship Jesus.
If any of that had not taken place, it's conceivable that we would still be in medieval level of technology and never really explored the Americas (technology developed very slowly before the industrial revolution, with the Americas as the catalyst for hitting exponential growth).

I went to catholic school in Spain for the first 18 years of my life, then after an angry atheist phase that lasted a decade, I found out what God really is.
My issue with christianism and any organized religion with a dogma is that they polluted and diluted true spirituality so much that it´s just turned into something completely different over the centuries.
"Christ conciousness" will come when all religions realize it was all the same God all along they were arguing about and all humans realize that we truly are sons of God and a part of "It" at the same times.

The video's attempt to establish Jesus' deity falls short, as it overlooks critical historical and theological nuances. Rather than presenting a cogent argument supported by robust evidence, it merely reiterates common tropes without engaging with scholarly discourse. Its failure to address counterarguments or acknowledge the complexity of the subject matter undermines its credibility. In essence, the video's shallow analysis renders it more akin to satire than serious theological inquiry.
Jesus' portrayal often reflects a synthesis of preexisting mythological motifs. Yet, the question remains: does this amalgamation render him a figure of historical significance or merely another iteration of mythological storytelling?
The myth of Jesus gained widespread traction due to the logistical advantages afforded by the Roman Empire's extensive network of roads and infrastructure, enabling its dissemination across diverse regions. Nevertheless, the efficiency of its spread does not negate its mythological nature or diminish the need for critical examination of its historical validity.
Given the abundance of mythological stories circulating during his era, his appearance seems ill-timed for establishing a unique claim to deity, suggesting a potential challenge to the credibility of his divine status.
If Jesus wanted to maximize global awareness of his divine nature, appearing in a technologically advanced era with widespread communication channels, such as the present day, would likely be most effective.

In other chapters of the Bible oftentimes there are multiple events combined together in a manner that could make it appear that only one event is being referred to...how does Heiser know that Rev 12 isn't the same? Isn't that kinda biased? We already got Jesus, and you just pinpoint arguments to support your claim, that He came exactly at right time. If it were other time, you would be able to do the same with just other arguments attached to other timelines?
Your conclusion is logical, yet not very strong to unbeliever, because you just picked what you need to prove your point. If you pick other facts your historical window wouldn't shrink.
But for me the most powerfull argument you said in the end - is that Jesus came out of smalest nation, from unimportant family, under roman culture and yet, shined brighter than any other person on this planet. You just can't have that much influence being simply poor but wise man.
Anyway, great points, something to consider, really. Hope you would grow and spread the gospel wide and plenty

No his arguments where not good it just seem to pointing out characteristics and features of divinity widely held by humans and placing it at some arbitrary time saying that it had to be this way because and to also make another point he got quite a few things severely wrong here like making the buddha out to be a god which he is not he's regarded by buddhist as a pround spiritual teacher or saying that indra is a Tibetan god and equating Zarathustra as being a diety which he is not he's considered a prophet of the god Adurah mazad

@@miguelatkinson i see, what you are saying, but i would ask you to use propper punctuation next time. This load of text you made is pretty hard to understand. If you want to make a point it is your job to make it easy to digest for a reader. I am russian, and your text look for me more like a flow of a word salad, then constructed argument.
Anyway, i don't consider other teachings of pagans at that time having anything to do with Jesus, so for me it looks like an argument pulled by ears, but stable time of roman empire and development of postal services is, at least, reasonable argument.
And wondering about why then and not now is kinda pointless. All the development in ethics and morality today is based in christian values and are only possible because Jesus preached them 2 millenia ago. There would be different "now" without Jesus "back then", so "why then and not now" is just some "extra" question, not realy worthy of further reasoning.
But anyway, this answer might help someone come to Jesus, so it counts for me as good.

@@vladgor4099 i didn't missed it, i am just arguing from a perspective of unbeliever. If you say to a non-christian guy: "there is a prophecy about Jesus, talking about His comming in this and that time period" the guy can simply say: "so to justify your source of information about Jesus(bible) you use that same source(bible)."
You see, how it seems like weak argument for a nonbeliever?
I believe that prophecies fullfilled fully in Jesus, and i know structure of the bible and it's time periods for it's books, but regular atheists doesn't. For me prophecy is good enough, for them it is not credible enough. But, for some reason, logic is what they admire, so i just pointed out logically sound arguments.

    • @vladgor4099
      @vladgor4099 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@TEPMOBETEP Right but i would argue that that unbeliever doesn’t understand the source that is given. The bible isn’t a book written by some man. The bible is the compilation of songs, texts, letters and testimony over the course of thousands of years, written by many people in 3 different languages.
The prophesy to which i pointed to was written hundreds of years before Christ. The dating of such manuscripts are ancient. Matter of fact, the dead sea scrolls which are dated 200 years before Christ and contain said prophesies. So at the earliest, 200 years, but obviously much older.
Then the prophesies themselves which were fulfilled and documented by the apostles can also be argued. Considering Pontius Pilate a roman historical figure documented the crucifixion which was part of prophesy, and many others were documents by the apostles. The apostles later were given choices to renounce their claim that they SAW Christ rose from the dead, or die. They all chose death. Keep in mind nobody dies for something they KNOW is a lie. Here are some deaths they had to face
      Cut in half
      Boiled in oil
      Crucified upside down
      Burned alive
      Beheaded
      Stoned
They didn’t believe Christ rose or hear that he did or think that he did, to which it would make sense that they went to their deaths becuase they had faith to something they might or might not be right about.
They died for what they knew for a fact was or wasn’t a lie, because they claimed to have physically seen, heard, touched and ate with him after he rose. And nobody dies for something they KNOW is a lie, and surely not in those kinds of deaths.
      Consider that, God bless

    1. There are many similar gods worshipped today (allah, krishna, Buddha, Yahweh etc) so that reason isn't unique to that time. This isn't even considering the gods worshipped before the "red zone" like Ra, Odin, Sumerian deities, Indus religions, vedic deities etc)
    2. People have been "thinking" about god since before the Red Zone and well after it passed. This argument does not make much sense.
    3. Global peace and prosperity is the highest it has ever been in world history. The best time for Jesus to "come to earth" would undeniably be now or sometime in the future, when the amount of people that can be guided is highest, ease of information is better developed, and peace is ubiquitous.
4/5. Language and Road System; again this goes back to ease of information access and transportation. Back then people could barely write, forget recording infallible divine commandments that could be reliably transported around the world. If the goal of Jesus was to spread his teachings far and wide in a quick, effective, and efficient manner, today is the day.
    6. I must admit my knowledge around the prophecy is not strong. However, it seems as though the way you portray it is a very christian interpretation that follows the Day-Year Principle, not one that is held in high regard by most Jewish theologians.
Overall, most reasoning in this video seems flawed, but I would love to hear why I am wrong

    • @oOFedoOo
      @oOFedoOo 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I don't agree with content of the video either but here is where you went wrong too:
      1. There is only one God known by different names.. All people drink water but we have different names for it, doesn't mean it is a different liquid. God is beginningless and endless , he brings everything forth and gave us one true religion. Even though most world religions "look" different its essence is the same, do good and be rewarded. Also God's essence cannot be grasped (obviously how can the relative comprehend the absolute), but we know him by his Attributes (also known as Names) In Hinduism you have Brahman-Vishnu-Shiva (Creator-sustainer and destroyer of the world), in the bible the Alpha and Omega, in the Quran Al-Awal and Al-Akhir (the first and last). In Islam God has 99 names, not different deities, just One with different aspects, same thing in any other religion, the question is do people still get this or not?
      2. Agree, this chart is meaningless I didn’t watch the rest, it refers to "recorded time" but I'm sure people have know God way before that. and it should be parallel lines, God sent a messenger (prophet) to every nation that speaks their language.
      3. Not really, global peace and prosperity is the highest if you read Steven Pinker book, but in reality there is as much death in this era as anytime before caused by "first world countries" in parts of the world you don’t care or hear about in the news.
4/5. Religion is a pre-requisite to advance society, writing system was developed to record revelation, oldest manuscript in Aramaic was Book of Enoch, first book in Hebrew was the Torah, first book to be written in Arabic language was the Quran, the Spitzer Manuscript is oldest Sanskrit writing found which is related to Hinduism. Prophets are not sent to have good times, they come to usher in good times.
I think we are all disposed to believe in God, it takes an effort to fight against it. if you feel you want to learn and discuss more I’m happy to do so in the chat or privately in the messages.
