Another Christian Chinese pastor was imprisoned for 5 (7?) years; he is married to an American citizen and I do not think he is a Chinese citizen anymore, but they still will not let him leave; he finished his prison time, but they put him under house arrest. The family is trying to bring him back to America. the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) has been fighting for him for years.

I am a mix chinese and educated in English , I grew up in a home where we have ancestors worship and another table with a picture of 3 person but one is more like the Father. I was made a worshipper for my family but I refused to worship inside the house where all the ashes were. I was 10 year old then and defied my mother, telling her I will worship only outside the house and place my 3 jawsticks on the pillar of the house ( there was a place to stick the jawstick to ). I hold the jawsticks look into the heavens and said 'unto the true and living God only You will I worship'. This verse is found in the Bible, how could I know it as I had no bible and never read one. God is so merciful as He will reveal himself. I became a christian at 24 years old.

She said yes and tears were streaming from her eyes and I was so horrified as I can't imagine how hard it was for her. I went into my room and said God, please heal my mom, life is so difficult for us as she can't see. The next day my dad brought her to town in a taxi and when they got out of the cab, 2 man approached and asked my dad whether my mom wants to see. My dad said yes and one of the man wrote on a piece of paper, a chinese medicine ( herbal concoction ) and told my dad to go across the street to buy it from the chinese medicine shop and do exactly what they told him. ( my dad related this to my mom). My dad got the packets about 4 of them and they proceed back home. My sister at that time was 11 years old and my mom told her to boil the concoction in 4 small bowls of water for 2 hours , till it goes down to 1 bowl. I was very excited when it was done. When it cool down , my mom drank the whole bowl and I asked her, whether she could see? She said , yes but blurry. The next day, my sister bowl another one and after my mom drank it, she was completely heal and could see perfectly. Now reflecting on the past, my mom never wear glasses and she could thread and sew. God send 2 angels to her because when I was 18 years old , I asked my mom whether she kept the piece of paper that the man wrote the concoction on.. She got it and showed to me. God is my witness, I asked my mom , how did the man wrote the concoction? My mom said, your dad said, the man wrote it standing up. I am no writing expert but it is impossible for any man to write 8 rows of chinese lettering some 12 letters that looks like calligraphy standing up. ( I have seen calligraphy in the science museum in NYC). Come to think it after I became a christian after reading Matthew that we can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. My friend and I prayed for a boy with meningitis because they diagnosed it too late, the boy became blind, lame and his brain was ravaged with the virus. I did not see the miracle my self but the boy was healed after we left the hospital. ( we came back to visit after 2 weeks and the father said he was healed after we left and he tried to look for us but we were no where to be seen) I actually felt embarrassed when the boy was not healed immediately and quickly told my friend to leave immediately. I am 67 years old now and used to live in S.E.A. but the Lord open up doors for me as that is a miracle in itself. Oh.. the church in Asia is growing and is very strong. You would be shocked by the number of Christian’s in Asia and the sheer sizes of the church. In China, unofficial church numbers are in 100-130million. In Korea, Yoido Full Gospel Church has multiplied churches many times over and still has a steady membership of about 800k In Indonesia, the GBI denominations stands at about 3 million. In fact, I think that the church in the west is being prosecuted more than the east due to liberal, lbgtq and the woke movements.

Yes, I also seen this comment from another video in youtube and others wanted to disprove that word. I don't know chinese but i do know japanese in which case the japanese adopted the chinese characters. And the word 船 (boat) in japanese has same meaning to the chinese word, and even when you take them part by part. The 口（mouth) can also be associated as a person. Because there's a word in japanese called 人口（population）literally saying people's mouth, counting how many mouths to feed in a certain place, hence population. That's why 船（boat）would mean 8 people on a boat, poiting to noah's family of 8 on the ark.

But the word predates all mission work and it's on some of their oldest records. But the Chinese, since their early history, had deified several early rulers, and this provides a simple basis for a kind of central deity (帝, after all, took the meaning of "emperor" since the legendary 黃帝 Huang Di). Quite bafflingly, he cites the 史記 Shiji by 司馬遷 Sima Qian as saying "上帝者，天之別名也。神無二主。" "Shang Di is another name for Tian. The spirits do not have two Lords." but this is actually from something written in the 請祀五方帝議 section of 全唐文 (a collection of Tang dynasty documents) by 王仲邱 Wang Zhongqiu, who was quoting 鄭元 Zheng Yuan. This is a strange error, but he probably has a reason for it. And before 天 was seen in this way, local folk gods and spirits were worshiped all over, which is explicitly mentioned in the very text that Kong Hee cites. For example: 按《貞觀禮》，正月上辛，祀感帝於南郊；《顯慶禮》，祀昊天上帝於圜丘以祈穀。 According to the " 貞觀禮 Zhenguan Rites", on the first Xin day of the first month of the year, 感帝 Gan Di was worshiped in 南郊 Nanjiao (Southern Suburbs). Notice how there is no discussion of the firmament, unlike the Old Testament. The ancient Hebrews (and other peoples) believed that the sky was made up of layers. Separating "the waters from the waters" was literally to create layers within the dark and formless flow of the proto-universe. This is not a part of this Chinese creation story. Flooding was a major recurring problem in China throughout history. In fact, flooding occasionally resulted in rebellions and regime changes. It would be incredibly strange if Chinese history did NOT have a flood story, especially for the early Chinese, who were broadly located in the fertile (full of rivers) Central Plains. When it came to the etymology, Kong Hee just MADE IT UP. He split up the radicals as he pleased, selected the ones most convenient for constructing a particular meaning, and then narrated a story around it. He is neither the first nor the last to do this. It's a pretty common thing for people to come up with stories for the Chinese characters. But, for example in 造, the real etymology is the semantic 辶 to move + the phonetic 告. Based on Baxter-Sagart's reconstruction, Old Chinese 造 was pronounced /*[dzˤ]uʔ/ and 告 was pronounced /*kˤuk-s/, although other reconstructions may provide more similar sounds. But both have the vowel /u/ and a stop consonant at the back of the mouth. The Wikitionary explanation of 告 etymology is 牛 ox + 口 container, meaning "to pray and make a sacrifice" by placing a sacrificed ox head above a container to get its blood. Because of the link between praying and saying something aloud, this could explain how 告 got the meaning "to report." 華體字字典 instead suggests basically that an ox hurts someone with its horns, and so that person makes a complaint, 牛 ox + 口 mouth, and this could explain how 告 got the meaning "to sue." Kong Hee's etymology is completely his own interpretation, and while folk etymology may be an interesting pastime activity, it cannot be used to argue divine inspiration.

In the Biblical corpus, it is well defined that the books are not written by men, the men are doing something more akin to taking dictation from God. God inspired the written Word, God IS the Word. John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. It becomes easier to understand if you imagine God as the total embodiment of all that is righteous and/or true. So we don’t worship or pray to men or a man, but to God, who is righteousness and truth. Jesus himself said in John 14:6 “I am the WAY(a path of behavior and action, an aim or direction to go), the TRUTH(that which bears itself out as righteousness in direct contrast to unrighteousness, and the LIFE(abiding in and with righteousness, as opposed to eternal separation from it, death in its truest sense.) Jesus was not a man, but rather the Word made flesh. He was the physical earthly embodiment of the Word, as seen in John 1:14. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us. Notice the language of separation between Man(us) and the Word(Jesus). He is separate from man. We don’t put our faith in man, but rather in what is the Truth. The Word. I'm ethnic chinese living in Singapore. One of the role of china emperors throughout the history is also to act as a priest between chinese people and heaven (God), to host a yearly prayer ritual, asking for good harvests and good foutune for chinese people and the country. I prayed to God saying "Oh God help me." I imediately fell asleep and drempt a healing dream. I felt presence of peace from then on and dreampt of God regularly. Yes, thank you! I have family friends imprisoned for being Christian; they are in XiAn, but the children are in Beijing with the grandparents. Thank you for praying for these persecuted people. Another Christian Chinese pastor was imprisoned for 5 (7?) years; he is married to an American citizen and I do not think he is a Chinese citizen anymore, but they still will not let him leave; he finished his prison time, but they put him under house arrest. The family is trying to bring him back to America. the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) has been fighting for him for years.

I am a mix chinese and educated in English , I grew up in a home where we have ancestors worship and another table with a picture of 3 person but one is more like the Father. I was made a worshipper for my family but I refused to worship inside the house where all the ashes were. I was 10 year old then and defied my mother, telling her I will worship only outside the house and place my 3 jawsticks on the pillar of the house ( there was a place to stick the jawstick to ). I hold the jawsticks look into the heavens and said 'unto the true and living God only You will I worship'. This verse is found in the Bible, how could I know it as I had no bible and never read one. God is so merciful as He will reveal himself. I became a christian at 24 years old.

She said yes and tears were streaming from her eyes and I was so horrified as I can't imagine how hard it was for her. I went into my room and said God, please heal my mom, life is so difficult for us as she can't see. The next day my dad brought her to town in a taxi and when they got out of the cab, 2 man approached and asked my dad whether my mom wants to see. My dad said yes and one of the man wrote on a piece of paper, a chinese medicine ( herbal concoction ) and told my dad to go across the street to buy it from the chinese medicine shop and do exactly what they told him. ( my dad related this to my mom). My dad got the packets about 4 of them and they proceed back home. My sister at that time was 11 years old and my mom told her to boil the concoction in 4 small bowls of water for 2 hours , till it goes down to 1 bowl. I was very excited when it was done. When it cool down , my mom drank the whole bowl and I asked her, whether she could see? She said , yes but blurry. The next day, my sister bowl another one and after my mom drank it, she was completely heal and could see perfectly. Now reflecting on the past, my mom never wear glasses and she could thread and sew. God send 2 angels to her because when I was 18 years old , I asked my mom whether she kept the piece of paper that the man wrote the concoction on.. She got it and showed to me. God is my witness, I asked my mom , how did the man wrote the concoction? My mom said, your dad said, the man wrote it standing up. I am no writing expert but it is impossible for any man to write 8 rows of chinese lettering some 12 letters that looks like calligraphy standing up. ( I have seen calligraphy in the science museum in NYC). Come to think it after I became a christian after reading Matthew that we can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. My friend and I prayed for a boy with meningitis because they diagnosed it too late, the boy became blind, lame and his brain was ravaged with the virus. I did not see the miracle my self but the boy was healed after we left the hospital. ( we came back to visit after 2 weeks and the father said he was healed after we left and he tried to look for us but we were no where to be seen) I actually felt embarrassed when the boy was not healed immediately and quickly told my friend to leave immediately. I am 67 years old now and used to live in S.E.A. but the Lord open up doors for me as that is a miracle in itself. He the Almighty God will grant our hearts desire when we grow close to Him and delight ourselves in Him. I hope this will bless you. Thank you for reading.

Yes, I also seen this comment from another video in youtube and others wanted to disprove that word. I don't know chinese but i do know japanese in which case the japanese adopted the chinese characters. And the word 船 (boat) in japanese has same meaning to the chinese word, and even when you take them part by part. The 口（mouth) can also be associated as a person. Because there's a word in japanese called 人口（population）literally saying people's mouth, counting how many mouths to feed in a certain place, hence population. That's why 船（boat）would mean 8 people on a boat, poiting to noah's family of 8 on the ark.

Quite bafflingly, he cites the 史記 Shiji by 司馬遷 Sima Qian as saying "上帝者，天之別名也。神無二主。" "Shang Di is another name for Tian. Flooding was a major recurring problem in China throughout history. In fact, flooding occasionally resulted in rebellions and regime changes. It would be incredibly strange if Chinese history did NOT have a flood story, especially for the early Chinese, who were broadly located in the fertile (full of rivers) Central Plains.
When it came to the etymology, Kong Hee just MADE IT UP. He split up the radicals as he pleased, selected the ones most convenient for constructing a particular meaning, and then narrated a story around it. He is neither the first nor the last to do this. It's a pretty common thing for people to come up with stories for the Chinese characters. But, for example in 造, the real etymology is the semantic 辶 to move + the phonetic 告. Based on Baxter-Sagart's reconstruction, Old Chinese 造 was pronounced /*[dzˤ]uʔ/ and 告 was pronounced /*kˤuk-s/, although other reconstructions may provide more similar sounds. But both have the vowel /u/ and a stop consonant at the back of the mouth. The Wikitionary explanation of 告 etymology is 牛 ox + 口 container, meaning "to pray and make a sacrifice" by placing a sacrificed ox head above a container to get its blood. Because of the link between praying and saying something aloud, this could explain how 告 got the meaning "to report." 華體字字典 instead suggests basically that an ox hurts someone with its horns, and so that person makes a complaint, 牛 ox + 口 mouth, and this could explain how 告 got the meaning "to sue." Kong Hee's etymology is completely his own interpretation, and while folk etymology may be an interesting pastime activity, it cannot be used to argue divine inspiration.

I'm ethnic chinese living in Singapore. I prayed to God saying "Oh God help me." I imediately fell asleep and drempt a healing dream. I felt presence of peace from then on and dreampt of God regularly. I read lots of religions from around the world looking for God. Finally i read a bible and found all my dreams were in the bible. Now I know Jesus is God. And we know each other well. Im satisfied and full of love, acceptance and peace.
