  • Hey everyone! Ever since I made this Magic Shell as a topping for Anabolic Ice Cream, I can't seem to get enough of it. I've had it every single day!
In this video, I show you how to make Magic Shell and Chocolate Protein Ice Cream. If you don't know what Magic Shell is, it's a chocolate sauce that quickly hardens into a crispy shell when poured onto ice cream.
This Magic Shell has turned into my favorite topping for high protein ice cream!
Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy this video!

Macros/Cals are wrong in the video. It’s actually lower calorie and fewer macros than what I had in the video. Sorry!
    ACTUAL CALS + MACROS:
    266 calories
    24 protein // 10 carbs // 6 fiber // 17 fat
**Fiber is anywhere from 0-2cals per gram

I'm so glad you brought this up, because I thought I was the only one. Greg keeps going on about how high-protein foods keep you full, but keeps everything mostly fat free. Seriously, there have been times where I had almost 7 cups worth of anabolic ice cream, and I'll be physically full, but still want to eat more. Fat is absolutely necessary for flavor and satiety.

    • @RahulKamat
      @RahulKamat  3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

I only track cals not macros and didn’t realize how little fats I was eating. I realized about a month ago and set a fat minimum each day. Now I feel so much better! Hoping this video will help people if they’re not eating enough fats :)

@@k.s.2392 Now that I've been doing keto for long enough that I don't have the extra body fat to burn (I weigh 100 pounds) I literally eat avocados, nuts, cheese...(all those things I couldn't eat for so long!) every day, to give my body something to burn that isn't just carbs to not loose anymore. Once you do keto for long enough, it seems like an inevitability that you'll get to enjoy (healthy) fatty foods again at some point, without taking your diet which makes this a much easier diet to live with if you think about it. No one wants to cut out everything indefinitely!❤

    • @RahulKamat

A food processor works so well for this recipe, a blender would not be as good. So I do recommend a food processor. Blender is too strong and will make this watery and less thick and voluminous. Food processor whips in a lot of air to make this fluffy. And bitter cocoa too good!

I think your math on the caloric content needs a check. Fats = 9cal per gram(171cal) Carbs=4cal per gram(80) Protein 4cal per gram(100) Totals to 351 calories. All in all fantastic macros and I intend to utilize the magic shell asap! Awesome video man!
Pro Tip - For extra fiber try an IMO sweetener.

I got the updated cal count in the description because it was wrong in the vid, but it’s
      17g fat (153 cals)
      24g of protein (96 cals)
      10g of carbs (40 cals) - 6g of fiber (0-12 cals) = 4g net carbs (16-28 cals)
Added this all up and double checked each nutrition label to get 266 total cals

Was wondering if you could do a vanilla caramel swirl anabolic protein ice cream with the magic shell? Like thick caramel swirls similar to dulce de leche but with vanilla protein ice cream. I heard you can make zero sugar dulce de leche with monk fruit and almondmilk but don’t know how you can do a swirl from it when you blend it with the vanilla ice cream. Similar to Ben and Jerry’s americone dream

    My brownie recipe:
55 calorie brownie recipe (if cut into 9 brownies):
•Pre heat oven to 400F and bake for 15 minutes.( i tried 350F for longer than 15 minutes and they were more gooey)
•the complete macros of the recipe with vary based on what products you use so figure it out by yourself but it still should be around 50 calories for 9 brownies.
    • 3/4 cup(184g) nonfat greek yogurt
    • 1/4 cup(60g) non fat or nut milk
    • 1/2 cup (40g) Cocoa powder
    • 1/2 cup (60g) Oat flour or blended up quaker oats
    • 1/2 cup (96g may very though) any natural/stevia based sweetener that pours like sugar
    • 1 egg (ROOM TEMP)
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 pinch salt
    Extra optional add ins:
    • use different flavored extracts to play around with the flavor
•add spices like cinnamon or nutmeg
    Notes/ tips:
Mix the dry and wet ingredients throughly but separately obviously. Dont over mix the batter. Use a 8x8 baking dish and use no stick spray or whatever u wanna do so they dont stick to pan. Dont foget to let them sit a while after done baking and dont be scared to take them out early because they will harden in the fridge ( i kind of like them more gooey)
U could also make a frosting for the brownies since there so low in calories. Flexible dieting lifestyle has a bunch of anabolic frosting recipes on his TH-cam.
