I've lost 54lbs in 52 days (lots of water) on Keto moving toward Carnivore diet. My favorite benefits are, no more knee pain walking up and down the stairs and the calmness of my brain/mood.

Not a doctor but after 2 years on keto i would say alot of what makes the skin better is the lack of sugar and inflamation. Basically this is what our skin is suppose to look like. Smooth like a baby.

The words you choose to communicate your message are just so authentic and emotionally intelligent. No one size fits all. Follow your own wisdom. That you feel and say these things and are not trying to snake oil sales pitch us is very much appreciated good sir. Thank you!

I recently did a 72 hour fast. Even though it seemed had ketones, my blood sugar didn't go down to 89 until about the 2nd day. By the 3rd day it was finally at 70. Then it was time to break my fast. I wish I had known better how to keep ketosis. But that is what I am learning now. The more I want this the less sugar and carbs will be attractive.

High fat low to moderate protein. Increase animal fat 💫

Been on keto and intermittent fasting for 4 months. Already Lost 35 pounds, have a great mood, and a sharper mind at work. I’ve cheated with overly fried carbs on occasion and afterwards, always felt like I was poisoning myself. It’s not a diet for me, it’s a lifestyle now.

So on one of your average days (wake up, shower, work out, eat, work, eat again a bit later than done eating) it seems you do 6/18 fast is that about right? Based on Dr. Jason Fung's breakdown you're reaping massive benefits of autophagy indeed. Fascinating what our bodys' and minds can do to self heal if we give them a chance. I'm re-committing to keto diet again today! Thank you!

That's right, 6/18 or sometimes 4/20. Healing and autophagy are the keywords. Good luck with your keto diet!

I did the keto diet but I was cheating, as I was still drinking alcohol - but drinking things that were still low carb, like sparkling wine. Somehow I still stayed in ketosis most of the time and also ate plenty of green veg/cauliflower/full fat dairy etc and a lot of protein. Anyway, at some point I stopped and gradually slid back into a regular diet. Put all the weight I'd lost back on and an extra half a stone or so!! 😓😓. I liked how I felt on Keto but I feel it's too restrictive for me. Do you think a lower-carb/clean eating diet is still OK? Rather than full on KETO?

Great comment and question. I think diet should fit a persons needs and lifestyle. Some diets become more like a religion which isn’t fun. 😊
I started keto as a response to a sugar addiction (and out of curiosity).
Eating clean (ideally organic) is a baseline. After that, using exercise and keeping calories at just under daily usage (and once a week slightly above) is great advice I’ve received from competitive athletes.

After 2 years of keto, I switched to the carnivore diet. it is much easier, healthier and more effective

Aren't they very very similar ways of eating, other than just no plants on carnivore? What foods did you stop eating on carnivore that you did eat on keto that you find makes it easier? I am super curious about all of this. Best wishes on your life health journey!

@@BigNord On the keto diet I baked keto bread and ate huge portions of salads that also had nuts and flax seeds in them. This is no longer the case with the animal based diet. In the fridge and freezer there are only beef, bones, fish, butter, Greek yoghurt, sour cream, cheese, lard, duck fat and tallow, frozen berries. It's only thanks to the carnivore diet that I feel really good, my intestines are no longer overloaded with fruits, grains and vegetables. amazing effect

Thanks for sharing your info and what you find works for you very much appreciated. I am not a huge veggie eater anyway so may mix some of this into my so called "keto" reboot. Best wishes to you. @@SuperBotanica

Carnivore is not healthy, grains or vegetables should be included for better health.

Women pay a lot for skincare to look "glowy".
