The guy who plays the tank driver is Korpi's son for real. Two other Finnish movies you should try to see is. Unknown Soldier 2017 (Tuntematon sotilas) there are two older version but the 2017 one is the one to go fore. There are 2 versions of the movie one that is a little over 2 hours and one that is closer to 3 hours.There is also a TV series that was filmed at the same time as 5 episodes the episodes are about an hour long. You should see the series or the longer movie. The book Unknown Soldier is written by the author Väinö Linna, he himself was in the war which the movie is based on. In ww2 Finland fought russians first and germany second, so the historical background holds. All thesedays finns are children or grandchildren for those finnish winter war soldiers. Because hole finnish nation took apart of that. We kind of lost that war but kept our independence because we fighted so badass.
