    Yes the quick disconnect push on fitting 5/16" work perfectly that is what I used on my 95gt but you probably know that now....but just in case

    • @pramiscal
      @pramiscal 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      NO, the part that he mentions, which is pending, is a 640853, which is a 3/8 line not a 5/16, so it does NOT work!!!! The Correct part number is 640860, which is a 5/16 push on, and yes, that one does work!

    I notice in the video that you mention that the 640863 is a suitable substitute for the 5/16" hard line at the firewall, yet the video description has p/n 640853 listed which is a 3/8" fitting. Am I missing something here?

    @Grand Touring Concepts, were we ever able to confirm fitment of that alternate Russell PN?

    • @GrandTouringConcepts
      @GrandTouringConcepts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Russell # 640853 is confirmed to fit, but I would recommend an alternative would be to purchase a custom built set from our channel partner Ted Jenkins at Tuning Innovations. I am running a set of the TI lines on my car now and the fitment is so much neater than the Fragola options I tried in this video. You can reach out to Ted on the TI FB page here: facebook.com/tuninginnovations Tell him I sent you! Thanks for watching and commenting! - Darren

    Hey bro..Thanks for your videos.I told ya about my 9 Mustangs and how they all vary from my 89 Coupe to my Supercharged Saleen S351 #21 ending with my 04 Cobra..Anyway..I have a 94 Cobra Convertible I told you about and Im just curious ,why is there so much dirt and surface rust ? I kerp all my engine bays 10/10 mint..I cant believe you arent using caster/camber plates.Im running Coilovers on both my 94 COBRA with a Roush SBF Aluminum 427/T56 and Black 95 GTS but I still use C&C plates.Thanks for the info.I try to share info with people but they always think im running them down because Im running custom fuel lines and upgraded/swapped motors..Anyway..Take care man..Clean up that engine bay amigo!!! ✌

  • @PANTYEATR1
    @PANTYEATR1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    another way to un-pressurize the fuel system is to trip the inertia switch in the trunk while the engine is running. that kills the power to the pump. once the engine dies, you're good!...man i want that supercharger for my 95 💪

    Can you do a video on recommended literature/sources for performance work? I've got a 94 Cobra and would like to get into hci/strokers/boost etc. Also I think I may have happened on your KB post on the svt forums haha

      Hi Logan, I can certainly put together a video on a recommended reading list and resources. Look for that soon. It is possible you found my old work, I used to be quite active on the forums back in the day. -Darren

    Are your hard lines stock? At what power level do you have to worry about upgrading those?

    • @GrandTouringConcepts
      @GrandTouringConcepts  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My hardlines are indeed stock, and the old horseshoes and hand grenades answer for HP level was 500 or so. But I will attempt research a more technical answer and discuss it in a future video.

    • @95turbostang21
      @95turbostang21 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you are good up to 500hp with no problems. If you are running stock block don't worry about changing fuel lines or rail save the money the 302 block are only good for 500 your over run the block before your fuel lines or rail rail
