It’s a lot lighter than that 75 pound rucksack I carried in the military. I just bought one and have zero complaints. It blows the doors off of Bernie other leaf blower I have ever owned no pun intended. They should’ve sent one to me for free
Yes definitely a lot of other things you can carry that are heavier. Thank you for your service by the way. It does pack a punch and is great for leaf cleanups. The rest of the year the additional power is overkill and unnecessary, but use whatever you feel the need for in your business. Free stuff is cool. Unfortunately nothing is free. It all comes at a price. Most of that is paid in advance in the hundreds of hours creating content and helping people consistently for years without earning a dime to build an audience and following big enough for brands to send you something for “free” with no guarantee that they will. Then when and if they do, you still have to spend hours to document and record your experience using the “Free” item to create even more content around that item. Thanks for watching.
I love the PB9010T blower and the speed in getting the job done and the Red Armor oil the best combination that will keep your blowers running for years with no down time. by far it's the best by no question.
Yes no doubt it is an awesome blower. I love mine as well. The power it puts out and the ability that gives you to move leaves quickly outweighs the cons it may have. That being said this unit is definitely a specialty blower meant for big cleanups and not meant for daily lawn maintenance. Thanks for watching.
Great video. I have both the 8010T & the 9010T and both are great. I really like the 9010T, its very strong and handles all my lawn care needs. Inregards to the small jobs, I use a smaller hand held blower. Several of my lawn care owner/ freinds, also have the 9010T and love them. Lots of power and sounds great !! If you are taller, like me at 6 foot 2, this long blower tube works perfect.. Nice job Echo X
I have the 9010 and I absolutely love it. Others have complained about the weight, stiff tube, and the fact it snags on things like bushes. Personally I don’t think it’s heavy but I’m not a commercial user so running it for a few hours a week is a different animal then running it all day every day. I agree the tube is not as flexible as other blowers but it’s a non issue for me I just turn my body and walk sideways when I need to blow at a sharp angle. As for snags I don’t go into brush with it as I use it after I clear the brush out with a brush cutter. All in all I have only two complaints with mine, I wish it had more power! Seriously I thought it would be overkill when I bought it but honestly I’d gladly take one that is heavier and has more power. I wish it had a bigger gas tank this thing is thirsty and requires frequent refills I get about an hour out of a tank and it would be nice to have more runtime.
I bought the 9010T. I have a LOT of leaves on my small property, and I have been able to blow areas that I've never been able to get to before! I borrowed a Stihl 800 X from my job, and it doesn't hold a candle to this Echo. Weight and fuel consumption aside, this is the level of power I needed for my yard!
Glad you found something that works for you. It’s all about the individual case use scenarios. That’s why I always suggest that people take reviews including mine with a grain of salt. The reviewer is assessing the item from their own unique lens. What may not work for one person could be a exactly what another person needs. Thanks for watching.
Its definitely a beast of a blower, moves massive amount of air. almost 2 or 3 770 blowers worth. i agree with most of your cons. I hope they continue to refine and improve it. like you say more of a heavy cleanup blower.
Yeah it’s a beast for sure, and I definitely recommend it to anyone doing leaf cleanups. Especially if your a solo operator. Even for just using it strictly for fall leaf cleanups. In fact that’s what I would recommend. Just use it for leaf cleanups only. According to the specs it’s actually more like 1.5 of the 770’s by air volume. Thanks for watching.
The elongated tube sucks to carry around all day its to long especially for us 6ft and under also to heavy. I agree the straps suck constantly slips off. New subscriber very detailed and valid points.
I agree with your assessment. It's a great blower, extremely powerful. I have the 8010 and the CFM is amazing. I too wish they had a better plan to hold the shoulder straps to keep them from falling off one's shoulder.
Definitely. Always room for improvement. Unfortunately ECHO doesn’t seem to concerned when users point out minor improvements that can be made. For example I pointed out the terrible top handle design on the 770 blower. It’s smooth on one side and very uncomfortable on the other side when you grip it. Would be very easy to make a cover or a smooth rounded plug to snap into the injection molded part or something that would make it easier to hold without the plastic digging into your hand. I’ve seen others point out the same issue and they don’t do anything about it. Thanks for watching.
I'd really like your review on Echo PB-9010T. This helps me a lot because in making decision to look for a replacement for my old Red Max 8500 for my home use. First I thought I would go to Echo PB-9010, but now I will keep using RedMax EBZ-8500 because it still works well for my yard. Thanks for sharing your review of pros & cons of Echo PB-9010T.
I’ve used one a couple years now. First yard, the elbow started popping out from the pressure. Never could get it fixed. That and the weight have been the only issues. It’s fine in the spring and fall (probably when it should realistically be used) but in the summer, every pound matters when it’s 100 degrees out. And it feels like a load of bricks on your back. Oh and it really does suck down the fuel.
Excellent review, Julio. Very thorough and specific. I got a chance to try out the 9010T at GIE, it was impressive that this thing can roll bricks on grass but bigger isn't necessarily better. I did notice the weight. I run a Redmax EBZ7500 and am used to that pretty much. It still is a bit on the heavy side for me but the performance of it outweighs the weight of it. I can see where the added power of the 9010T is beneficial to you in the fall with the wet and dense leaves. Having something as powerful as the 9010T is almost like having the output of a walk-behind blower with the portability of a backpack unit...sort of. I can imagine close quarters cleanup can be a bit difficult with not only the size but also keeping the output in check. Interesting you note the open engine design, my Redmax is the same way. I've not had any issue with torn lines and it does make working on the carb easier. I guess overall it depends on what your needs are. I agree with your assessment, this isn't a blower to use for post mow cleanups - it's for fall cleanups. Overall, Echo makes great stuff across the board. I have owned trimmers and hedge trimmers made by them through the years, not an ounce of trouble outside of an occasional carb cleaning/rebuilding.
Awesome. Glad you understood the gist of my review. Despite the list of cons I mentioned, I really do like the 9010. The power it puts out and efficiency it allows doing leaf cleanups far outweigh the negatives I discussed. Thanks for watching.
I definitely prefer the 770 for my daily blower. My 8010 just doesnt fit my body like the 770 and the weight is an issue like you said. I'm not sure but the weight difference in carrying more fuel has an impact as well, and it does suck down the gas. Adding a hand held blower to daily use is on my agenda as well. Great content! Thank you
The weight difference between the 770 and 8010 would only be the increased fuel capacity as both blowers weigh the same despite the size difference. With the 8010 they utilized carbon fibre for the entire frame and fan housing to keep the weight the same. With the new 9010 they ditched the carbon fibre and went back to traditional material which is why the unit weighs 2 lbs more than the 770 and 8010. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the review! The unit is clearly a work horse and seems it will help with production time. I am a STIHL man and currently have a BR800c and love it. I plan on purchasing one if STIHL doesn't release there new unit next year.
Yes a workhorse for sure and despite any cons mentioned in this video I would still recommend it to anyone for those major leaf cleanups. Thanks for watching.
Thanks, I was looking to upgrade my PB-580 for this grass fire season. I may look at the 770 but will avoid the 80cc units for sure. I am a smaller guy and need the lightest thing I can lug through the pastures and woods. Appreciate it.
Old video I know, but just an FYI- go to your local Stihl dealer and buy one of their $10 chest straps. They attach via E-clips to the chest straps just below the padding and they are elastic and adjustable. I buy them for all my blowers of every brand (if they don't come from the factory with one). It makes a world of difference. I have one on my 8010 and will be putting one on my 9010 when I get around to buying it.
Used a 9010 for 2023 season , they are heavy , and when the 25 degree mornings came we had 3 blowers crack the flex part of the tubing , I prefer Redmax or Husqvarna
I agree it is very heavy. As I stated in the video it’s overkill for what I need so I actually have not used mine for the couple of years since this video. Just sits on a shelf in the shop. 😂 Thanks for watching.
Accurate summary. It’s a dedicated large property fall leaf machine or even powdered snow. This size blower is overkill for smaller residential properties. Large estates, big parking lots, clearing away small cars. :-)
The PB-770T is almost the perfect blower. Just wish they would put some rubber or something to make that dang top handle more comfortable to hold. 😂 For heavy cleanups though, the PB-9010 is like using 1.5 of the 770’s. It’s definitely a must have unit especially as a solo operator. Anything other than heavy leaf cleanups and it’s overkill and just too heavy , cumbersome and thirsty to use daily. Thanks for watching.
This blower is an absolute monster. My wife complains it's a little loud but it doesn't bother me. This things will plow through everything. Moves massive walls of leaves. The weight doesn't bother me I'm over 200 lbs and in pretty decent shape.
That’s great. Glad it works for you. It is definitely a beast. In fact It’s overkill for me. The one featured in this video has sat on a shelf in my shop unused for 2 years now. 😂 Thanks for watching.
I have the Husqvarna 580 bts which I love! I did buy the flat nozzle to see how it worked, don't really use it much though, as the force is constantly trying to rip your arm off!! 🤣
I used ours for the first time today. Its nuts. Its one of my favorite items now. Its noisy but I use muffs. It uses a good amount of fuel but thats expected. I don't think I could ever go back to anything smaller! A smidge heavier but not noticeable. Or if you do..its worth the power. Crab walk...I noticed my right knee hurt a bit. Thought maybe it was doing something funny...but nothing to keep me from using it.
I’ve got Shindaiwa equivalent EB910 same blower ..!! So both top notch blowers .. good review but for me I’m 63 .. so old 2-stroke school here all your cons about machine are pros to me .. keep yourself in good, no great shape especially being I n the lawn care biz ..!!
Nice. The ebz8500 is a popular blower on the east coast it seems. We don’t have those here on the west coast of Canada. If you have big leaf cleanups to do then the PB-9010 is worth considering. Thanks for watching.
I bought one and loved it. Problem? It blew up at 1.5 tanks of gas 50-1 93 octane and warm up. Just shut off and done hard to pull and seized up. Ended up taking it back and switching to Stihl br800 . Hope this one holds up.
@@charlieromeoh No l purchased Echo full synthetic 2 stroke oil and 93 octane fuel. Dealer tried to pull that with me when l returned it.l kept my receipts to prove it along with fuel in the tank. They offered me replacement but l refused and applied the credit towards the Stihl br800. I am certified for small engine and outboard repair so they couldn't bullshit me. So far so good. Not bashing Echo by no means. It just didn't work out for me.
@@charlieromeoh Not sure what they did with it. Blew up after 2 tanks of gas.l wanted a brand new machine and not rebuilt one. They offered me same new replacement machine but l wouldn't chance another one so l bought Stihl . Was in middle of leaf job and had to take 2 hrs of my time to exchange for something that will work.
Looks like a great blower. I have a couple Stihl BR800 blowers. I find the extra power helps with distance blowing. Getting far enough back from the leaves and debris is crucial. Great review Julio. I usually put on the chest straps when I'm blowing for a few minutes.
@theoh9474 I have the BR800, too. I was considering buying another for leaf cleanups. Even though 48 newton's, 1100 cfms, 200 plus mph is a lot of power, this blower has some cons. I think I'm going to buy another br800.
I live in Chicago, and I don't have any tree in my backyard. I already have a snow blower. I am on the fence between the Echo Pb9010T and the Echo 770H for snow removal only.
I’m not sure. Lots of things to consider. I don’t use a backpack blower for snow but I would guess the more power the better for that job. Especially if you’re in an area that gets lots of snow. The biggest downside with the 9010 is the extra weight and noise. It’s very loud. But then again the extra power would mean you are done faster. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess I went to the local Echo dealer store. I checked out the Echo PB 770T, PB 7910T, and BP 9010T. I finally bought the PB770T and hope it will help me remove snow faster. Spending 2-4 hours removing snow is not fun.
I just purchased one two weeks ago. I have mixed feelings about this machine. I previously owned a BR 600 and I swear that blower works better than the echo. I don’t know if it’s the circumference of the Echo tube or what but I don’t see or feel more power from the 9010T. I guess I should give it more time. Example: we had grass over growing the edges of the concrete parking lot and the BR600 would LIFT THE GRASS AND DIRT UP. I don’t feel like the 9010 blower could do it due to the size of the tube. It may be blowing more air volume but it’s doesn’t feel directed and powerful
Cant do much about the noise, you pretty much have a dirt bike motor strapped to your back. Echo uses 3 attachment points for the belts. Swap the center ones left to right and right to left. They will stay on your shoulders much better.
Great video man! I love the 9010 I don’t think it’s heavy at all in my opinion. I’m going to try it on the jobs that need a lot more cleanup on a dayly. I do agree 💯 with you that the tube is little long should maybe do it like Stihl 700
I must be a weakling or getting old. 😂 Despite some of the negatives i described, it’s an awesome unit overall and I do love mine and would recommend it. Thanks for watching.
yes this unit is loud but the decibal rating could be wrong. 91 decibels would be a good guess. The pb 9010t is okay on idle but at full throttle it is extremely loud. Instead of 1100 cfm they should've made it 1,000 cfm they should have made the tubing similar to the redmax 8560. And also a chest strap to keep the unit sliding off your back due to the weight.
Sorry I’m not sure. I don’t use it enough to be able to tell. It’s too big and heavy and overkill to use year round so I only save it for leaf cleanups in the fall, and actually last year I did not use it at all, and instead opted to use a smaller backpack blower instead.
Yeah it’s kinda lame with a machine so heavy. It’s annoying to always have to adjust the straps. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t even bother using this 9010 at all this year and just did all my leaf cleanups with the much more comfortable 770T I have instead. Thanks for watching.
After you put the choke on after it starts does the machine automatically return the choke into the off or 12 o’clock position or do u have to manually move the choke from 3 o’clock to 12
Sew on a chest strap and a waist strap - put the weight on your hips, Get rid of the orange plastic, Cut off some of the nozzle but epoxy the curved end onto the stub because you need a convergent duct to maintain pressure gradient as designed, Get rid of the air filter and inlet duct monstrosity and fit a motorbike pod type filter to the carb, Look for frame stuff to cut off and maybe replace with something lighter - does that tank need the massive support it seems to have - it weighs only 3.9 Lb when full, Does the steel muffler weigh much ? I'd replace it with a larger lighter aluminium one - would be easy to fabricate and do better noise suppression, keep the same outlet size but facing downwards not out.
I also have a 770T like you and I think that is heavy enough I can't see lugging around this monstrosity all day long. There is a point of diminishing returns and I think this 9010 is overkill even for doing the leaf cleanup where you live. Great review Thanks...
It’s a huge machine and totally overkill for most situations, but the thing I’ve come to learn is everyone’s needs are different. I have seen guys on social media doing some insanely huge leaf cleanups and I guess having the extra power would be good for that. For most guys though I agree it’s not necessary. The 770 has enough power and is heavy enough. I use a handheld blower all season until leaf cleanups start and even then I wish I could use the handheld. 😂 Thanks for watching.
Ok interesting. Why’s is that? I used a Honda umk-435 4-stroke trimmer for many years in my business. It was a nice unit, but I got tired of doing oil changes on it on a weekly basis. Being such a small engine with very little oil capacity, it was imperative to be sure it had enough oil and that it was clean. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess I'd love the Makita because it's a 4 stroke engine and 2 stroke just seems a faf to deal with. I recently got the Makita bhx2501 4 stroke blower and for £200 it's really good
Ahh. That’s kinda funny as it was how I felt about that Honda trimmer. It was good but just too much of a pain to need to do oil changes so frequently. Two stroke is so much easier. Pour a pre measured bottle of oil mix in your preferred fuel can of the correct size and fill with fuel. I use a small 1 gallon Jerry can and use the smallest size ECHO Red Armor oil mix container that are designed to be used with 1 gallon of fuel. Super easy and no measuring. Plus the red Armor oil mix has fuel stabilizer inside. So no need to winterize equipment either.
Good review. I bought the brother of this unit Shindiawa EB910RT!!! Everything you said I agree with.. I also have PB770T, my PB 755T was stolen!!! Love good quality equipment!!!!!
I don’t think I would upgrade from the 8010 for the sake of just upgrading. The power difference is less then 100 cfm for 2 pounds heavier weight. Save your money my friend.
That tube is easily adjustable. Just take a section out. I'm guessing you may not be the tallest guy around. I'm 6'3" and find myself wishing the tube was longer.
Great review Julio! I really like my ECHO PB 8010 blowers! They are powerful and light. One of mine has the updated blower tube, the other one has the older "stiffer" blower tube. I wonder if they will update the blower tube for the 9010 and make it easier to bend? Also, any updates on the straps for the blower? Trying to keep the blower up on your shoulders would get old really quick! Thinking about getting a couple of 9010's in the future...
I haven’t heard of any updates on the straps. Overall It’s a powerful unit but I would not use it all season long, but instead just for cleanups. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess I've been using the 8010's all season long. But that may change this year. I may just save them for leaf season and not go out and buy the 9010's like I originally planned.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess some people like my mom said i dont need its to heavy. i just got a PB 265Ln from the flea market in new jersey for 80$ 25cc engine very light weight but i did notice it does not to good against stuck on grass but i wouldnt use the 9010 for grass.
Not a bad blower, but I prefer redmax...overall, I don't really like echo, because most of it feels more homeowner quality and I had a hc2020 absolutely sucked wrote a negative but honest review and echo keeps deleting it...does not take constructive criticism from customers...not hating on the video or people who use echo, I actually work very closely with another guy who uses echo, but I've had subpar luck with echo, though they're not the worst in the world
Gotta use what works for you. Redmax is not even a factor to consider here. They seem to be a more east coast regional brand. Heard good things about them but they are just not really represented on the west coast. For me ECHO has been solid and ultra reliable. But it’s no surprise. Tough to beat small Japanese engines. (Yes all their 2 stroke engines are made in Japan) I use to think like you as well that ECHO was homeowner quality. What I learned was that is a lot of great marketing by Stihl to have ads that say you can only get stihl at your dealer. You won’t find us at Home Depot etc. Essentially programming your sub conscious mind to believe that, and it works. It’s the number one thing I hear from people. What they fail to mention in the ads is that stihl does make low end homeowner equipment. It’s all the stuff they sell that is mostly in grey plastic with touches of orange, where as their commercial line is mostly orange with touches of grey. Every brand has different levels for different price points. I use to use all stihl stuff because I was told or led to believe that it is the best. My experience was that it requires a ton of maintenance. Especially the 4 mix engines. Once I switched to ECHO. The maintenance became almost nothing. In fact since 2017 the only maintenance on any ECHO stuff I have done is clean out the spark arrestor screen on a 2620. That’s it. Still same, spark plug, air filter, fuel filter etc and run on regular 87 gas with ethinol mixed with red Armor oil. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess and I also had a stihl km56rce that sucked, but maybe one day I'll try them again but right now redmax has been treating me the best. Fell off the truck multiple times and not only did it survive but there's not a single crack in the housing only scraped a little.
Redmax seems to be more of a regional brand. It very popular on the east coast of USA, but I have not seen it mentioned too much by west coast people. Here in Canada where I’m at we don’t have any Remax dealers on the west coast at least that I know of. Maybe Redmax will send me one for comparison one day. Thanks for watching.
The funny thing is that the louder it is the more efficient. So sure it’s loud but you won’t have to hear it long. The clip in this video where I’m doing the house with wet leaves on the street I was doing the full cleanup with the 9010 and my Navigator and was done the whole thing in under 1 hour solo. The neihbour across the street was there before I started with an electric leaf blower that was also pretty loud but they did not make a dent in their leaves in the time I completed the whole job.
Disappointed...Bought the 8010, lasted 2.5 years....forced to buy a blower, I bought the 9010...lasted 2 years.. Tomorrow morning ...I'll buy a Red Max
For me, for leaf season absolutely. The rest of the year, no thanks! Way to big, bulky, thirsty on fuel and noisy to use all year long. It also depends on your setup. If your mulching lawns and need to disperse clippings then yeah it would speed things up. I bag all my properties so there are minimal clippings to cleanup on paved surfaces. I prefer to grab and go a handheld blower in my situation. Thanks for watching.
Should've looked at the piston as they burn up a lot in the 9010 and also take the air tube off and look at all the dirt that is getting into the engine. A handheld blower is too slow
It’s all about individual case use scenarios. You saying a handheld blower is too slow is a blanket statement coming from just looking at the world through your own unique lens. Everyones business and circumstances are different. For me with my unique trailer set up and small properties I service. I found after using a backpack blower all year for the first 10 years in business that it was actually faster for me to use a handheld blower for most of the year until leaves start falling. I haven’t looked back now ever since making the change 7 years ago.
That’s why I said I will use it only for leaf cleanup season moving forward. It’s really overkill for anything other than that regardless of your height and weight. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess I saw one at the dealer and came to this conclusion without even touching it… like how much larger will they make backpack blowers? Can’t get much larger or heavier than this. Thanks for commenting on my comment.
I agree. This is at the max limit for size and weight. With that being said I’m only 5’6” and 160lbs and still found this to be a valuable tool to have for the heavy wet leaves here in the PNW.
It's not that bad. I used it all day for a few weeks and you get used to it. 6,1 and 180. It doesn't fall off my shoulder and when it's full of gas it weighs maybe 30 pounds which is nothing to keep on your back. Any general labour job your expected to pick up 50lb repeatedly all day long if it's needed
THE PB580T U CAN'T FEEL ANY TORQUE AND COMFORTABLE I WAS GOING TO TRADE IT IN ON THE 9010T BUT NOT SURE I MAY KEEP AND GET ANOTHER ALSO NOISE ISN'T AN ISSUE MOST BLOWERS ARE ABOUT THAT ON DB NOISE CANCELING HEAD PHONES NO ISSUES LOL
That’s great if you like it as is. I think the unit overall is great and I would recommend it for sure. The complaints in the video are an honest assessment of my experience. I know that there is a good chance that executives at ECHO will see this video with me being a part of their UAG program and this gives them an idea on ways they can make an already excellent machine even better for more people. Since this video was published I’ve had lots of people comment or DM me about ways they have added their own chest straps or that they cut the blower tube shorter etc. so obviously these are pain points for lots of people. Companies truly trying to make the best products will welcome the honest feedback. ECHO and Exmark are two examples of companies that have encouraged me to share my honest feedback in videos. In fact in a video I did about an Exmark product where I pointed out a design flaw they thanked me for the video and redesigned the product because of what I pointed out. Thanks for watching.
You must be new to this channel. So what part about the review felt fake to you or influenced by the product being provided? I absolutely love mine
Yes no doubt it is an awesome blower. I love mine as well. The power it puts out and the ability that gives you to move leaves quickly outweighs the cons it may have.

Yeah there’s no denying it’s got the juice, but it comes at a cost of being very heavy and awkward to use. Thanks for watching.
I looked at the 770 in Home Depot, but will have to look and feel again to see if the top handle could be wrapped with something.
No problem. Glad you found value in the video. Thanks for watching.
I have one and I do some free leaf cleanups for elderly and this is the tool for the job.I also plan on a yard sweeper.
Nice 👍. This definitely saves time doing leaf cleanups. Thanks for watching.

Good tip. Thanks for watching.
Great review sir! Yeah doing hours and hours of leaf clean ups. Back to back, weight definitely matters for longevity!
Yes for sure. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching.
My bar has been set at the PB-770T, but this is waaay better for the heavier leaf cleanups as you said. I have to agree with you on all fronts.
😂 Nice 👍 Thanks for watching.
Yes great unit overall for sure. Thanks for watching.
Great review my friend
My 2012 Redmax ebz8500 is still running strong but I'd like to try the 9010. Maybe I'll keep the old faithful Redmax as a backup.
Nice. The ebz8500 is a popular blower on the east coast it seems. We don’t have those here on the west coast of Canada. If you have big leaf cleanups to do then the PB-9010 is worth considering. Thanks for watching.
It's better than the redmax as blowing leaves further just wish tube was longer
Thank you for the review and makes me excited to go buy it. In North Ohio on Lake Erie and those leafs are gone on down the road this fall 🍁

I bought one and loved it. Problem? It blew up at 1.5 tanks of gas 50-1 93 octane and warm up. Just shut off and done hard to pull and seized up.
Ended up taking it back and switching to Stihl br800 . Hope this one holds up.
That’s too bad. Oh well it happens sometimes. Stihl makes great stuff as well so your in good hands. Thanks for watching.
Were you using canned/premixed store bought fuel ?
@@charlieromeoh No l purchased Echo full synthetic 2 stroke oil and 93 octane fuel. Dealer tried to pull that with me when l returned it.l kept my receipts to prove it along with fuel in the tank.
They offered me replacement but l refused and applied the credit towards the Stihl br800.
I am certified for small engine and outboard repair so they couldn't bullshit me.
So far so good.
Not bashing Echo by no means. It just didn't work out for me.
@@croquest8749 did the dealer fix it under warranty ?

Looks like a great blower. I have a couple Stihl BR800 blowers. I find the extra power helps with distance blowing. Getting far enough back from the leaves and debris is crucial. Great review Julio.
I usually put on the chest straps when I'm blowing for a few minutes.
The big blowers regardless of brand are always fun to use. 😂 Thanks for watching Craig.
I have both
BR800 and 9010
Can definitely tell a difference!
@@theoh9474 that's good know. I wondered that. 👍
@theoh9474 I have the BR800, too. I was considering buying another for leaf cleanups. Even though 48 newton's, 1100 cfms, 200 plus mph is a lot of power, this blower has some cons. I think I'm going to buy another br800.
Will this remove gravel from the lawn back onto my driveway?
Outstanding review.
Glad you found value in the video. Thanks for watching.
Excellent review..!! Thank You!
Thanks for watching.
Cant do much about the noise, you pretty much have a dirt bike motor strapped to your back. Echo uses 3 attachment points for the belts. Swap the center ones left to right and right to left. They will stay on your shoulders much better.
I appreciate the tip on the straps. Thanks for watching.
Great review, Thank you!
No problem. Thanks for watching.
I was told by a echo dealer the engines. run hot and burn up and not to buy one. Is this a problem with PB9010T . Please help I need a new Blower
Sorry I’m not sure. I don’t use it enough to be able to tell. It’s too big and heavy and overkill to use year round so I only save it for leaf cleanups in the fall, and actually last year I did not use it at all, and instead opted to use a smaller backpack blower instead.
Hard to believe their top model has no chest or waist strap, but the power is great.
After you put the choke on after it starts does the machine automatically return the choke into the off or 12 o’clock position or do u have to manually move the choke from 3 o’clock to 12
Very good review!
I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching.
Great video!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Sew on a chest strap and a waist strap - put the weight on your hips,
Get rid of the orange plastic,
Cut off some of the nozzle but epoxy the curved end onto the stub because you need a convergent duct to maintain pressure gradient as designed,
Get rid of the air filter and inlet duct monstrosity and fit a motorbike pod type filter to the carb,
Look for frame stuff to cut off and maybe replace with something lighter - does that tank need the massive support it seems to have - it weighs only 3.9 Lb when full,
Does the steel muffler weigh much ? I'd replace it with a larger lighter aluminium one - would be easy to fabricate and do better noise suppression, keep the same outlet size but facing downwards not out.
So your saying there is room for improvement then! 😂 I agree. Thanks for watching.
The backpack blower I'd wanna have is the 4 stroke Makita EB7660TH
4 stroke is not feesible in this kind of equipment, you will spend more time servicing it than using it, way too heavy too
Not adjustable, all I needed to know. Stihl Br 800 magnum it is 🍻
Glad you found value in the video. Thanks for watching.
It sounds like the echo 9010 is just as powerful as the walk behind blowers. Maybe a blower war echo 9010 vs walk behind blower
Not quite as powerful as a walk behind unit, but definitely one of the top choices in comparison to other backpack blowers. Thanks for watching.
Good review. I bought the brother of this unit Shindiawa EB910RT!!! Everything you said I agree with.. I also have PB770T, my PB 755T was stolen!!! Love good quality equipment!!!!!

@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess i have the 8010 but i kinda feel like i shouldnt upgrade cause that extra weight thats on the 9010
I don’t think I would upgrade from the 8010 for the sake of just upgrading. The power difference is less then 100 cfm for 2 pounds heavier weight. Save your money my friend.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess i rigged up my own chest strap for the 8010 it helps alot you should do that to yours it makes it better 😉

I find I don’t feel the wait that much because of the push back from the force of air.
It definitely has push back. That’s for sure. 😂 Thanks for watching.

If you are the only person using this blower, put a couple stitches in the strap so it can't move.
Last week I had a Karen get on my ass about my redmax ebz8550 being loud, which is 77db and she just wouldn't get off my back about it
She would love the 9010 then!! 😂
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess sure would, but she might as well move to California where new gas powered equipment will be banned by 2024
The funny thing is that the louder it is the more efficient.
Redmax 8560 about same as 9010 lighter tho
The 9010 is a time saver there's no point to even put on anything smaller. I'm not paying my guys to drag their ass around
Lo quemas tu pero el.mio nunca lo he cambiado
This blower has no use for anyone under 6’4 250lbs unless they don’t mind extensive back compression.

I love mine ya'll sure do complain a lot if you don't like it get outta rake
