    Leave a comment down below and let me know what you think of this new ECHO PB-9010T and if you prefer tube throttle or hip throttle models?

    • @rgsrbgolfing2779
      @rgsrbgolfing2779 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not a professional landscaper. Just a homeowner who decide to purchase this blower to clear my leaves each fall (1/2 acre) rather than spend $450 for a fall cleanup.
      Therefore, I can’t comment with respect to heavy day to day use.
      This blower is a beast and it performed beautifully this fall. Starts easily, moves everything (wet leaves, dry leaves, even sticks and stones). I got the hip throttle model and love it. Easy to use and less tiring on the right hand. I know some have said they don’t like the hip throttle, but I don’t get the objection. Guess it’s a matter of what you are used to.
      If you’re a homeowner, I wouldn’t worry much about hip vs tube throttle. Hip works great IMO, but get what you prefer. If you’re a landscaper, then you surely already know what you like, but IMO, the hip throttle is worth a try.

      Actually I try to be pretty considerate of their peace and quiet more often then not. I will use an electric weed whacker and hedge trimmers on my own property. I also always mow my own lawn with the smaller mowers instead of the larger noisier ones and use my handheld blower instead of these back pack ones at home, and I’ll use my electric pressure washer instead of the gas one for washing equipment and the truck and trailer. Thanks for watching.

    I have recently bought one. The 9010t and I’m happy that I bought it. It will handle anything I want to cleanup. I think it allows me to clear debris faster .

    I can't believe I waited so long to get one. I was using a Sthil 350br. So going to this was like night and day. I can blow off a property in no time and don't even have to get close to the clippings to throw them to the other side of the lawn, lol. This was a great buy.

    After you put the choke on after it starts does the machine automatically return the choke into the off or 12 o’clock position or do u have to manually move the choke from 3 o’clock to 12

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I put the choke on and usually give it about two pulls until you hear the motor almost start then take choke off and one more pull and it will start and warm up. Thanks for watching.

    Nice video. I have a question? I have never used any kind of gas powered based machinery. Always electric. Do I have to be a chemist to figure out how much oil to add to the gas tank when I am putting gas in it? Is there a fill line for the oil? How do I know if im putting in too much oil? TY!

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually you would pre mix your gas in a separate gas can for mixed fuel. Usually for most applications it’s 50:1. That’s 50 parts gasoline to 1 part oil. You can buy different sizes of the oil mix. I like using the smallest ones that are made to be used with 1 gallon of fuel. I use a 1 gallon Jerry can and put the whole little container of oil in and then fill it up at the gas station. Good quality oils like ECHO’s red Armor also has fuel stabilizer built in so the fuel could technically last a few years but obviously in a lawn care business setting the only time the fuel sits is maybe any leftover in the winter. Also if your uncomfortable pre mixing your own fuel ECHO also sells premixed fuel ready to use but that of course comes in smaller containers at a premium price available at your echo dealer. Thanks for watching.

    I love Echo over Stihl. Just personal opinion as my Echo power equipment has continued to hold up and my Stihl trimmers, edgers, and chainsaws have repeatedly broke down.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes that’s been my experience as well. I use to have all stihl equipment. I started using ECHO as part of the UAG program and it really opened my eyes as to what high quality dependable commercial equipment is really like. Thanks for watching.

    Good stuff Julio, it looks like an absolute beast. Thinking about one solely for the leaf cleanups, but we’ll see. Looking forward to seeing this in action with the navigator, that seems like a great pair. Also, congrats on 10k. Don’t know if that was recent or I just missed it. Great vid!

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes so far it’s a beast for sure. On full throttle it makes me walk sideways. 😂 should be a great leaf cleanup combo with the Navigator. The 10k was in just the last few days. Thanks for watching.

    DO you know if ECHO will have a stronger blower this coming year ??

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No I dont think so. They did not unveil anything more powerful during the recent equip expo for next year. However Redmax did release a new model to dethrone the 9010 as the most powerful blower on the market. Thanks for watching.

    • @victoryfirst2878

      @@LawnCareBusinessSuccess Could you please let me know anything you know about the dethrowning of the echomax ?? Thanks

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@victoryfirst2878So previous to the Echo 9010. The Redmax ebz 8560 that was 1000 cfm was the most powerful blower. There was also a Maryuma blower that was 1000 cfm as well. Then Echo put out the 8010 at just over 1040 cfm followed by the 9010 the next year with 1110 cfm and 48 neutons of force. It was the most powerful blower available for the past 3 or 4 years. Now Redmax has claimed the title again with the new EBZ9000 it puts out 1245 cfm at 56 neutons of force and is now the most powerful blower available on the market.

    Tell me something bro. Which one is the best, tge 9010 or the 8010 model.
    Here in Greece i cant find the 9010 model only the 8010.
    Also id like to know some specs of the 9010.
    Horsepower and the air speed.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are almost identical. The 8010 is lighter though due to its carbon fibre frame and fan housing. It weighs the same as the pb-770. The 9010 is a little bit more powerful but not much. We’re talking a couple of newtons and around 100 cfm. Thanks for watching.

  • @SteadyMcShredson
    @SteadyMcShredson 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for doing this video. I'm strongly considering buying this blower for general leaf clean up, but I'm curious if you think it's powerful enough to blow large acorns into a pile? I have several oak trees which dump a ton of acorns on my lawn which are a pain to rake up.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I think it would. I’ve been very impressed with it so far. They say it’s the most powerful backpack blower available on the market putting out 1110 cfm at the nozzle. I believe it. At full throttle it torques your body sideways. Thanks for watching.

  • @edwardmcmillenjr8443
    @edwardmcmillenjr8443 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Great video...I wish they had a shorter tube option to use.a short tube with a narrow tip would be nice to blow out debris in corners and wet leaves lodged into crevices.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes a shorter or adjustable tube would be great. Thanks for watching.

    I just bought one and I’m ready to fire it up. One question, does it need oil anywhere?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  ปีที่แล้ว

      It uses 2 stroke oil for lubrication mixed with the gas at 50:1. So that means 1 part oil to 50 parts gas.

    Great content as always, since you mentioned the noice of the commercial leaf blowers , do you own a battery powered yard equipment???

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I have experimented with some battery powered equipment. I have a bunch of the Milwaukee M18 stuff including the hedge trimmer, chainsaw, string trimmer, quick lok system with string trimmer attachment and articulating hedge trimmer attachment and the back pack sprayer. I do love the quietness of battery power. Thanks for watching.

  • @jace15076
    @jace15076 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I wouldn't mind a 20% reduction in power if they trimmed the weight and price by 20%. In terms of build quality and performance, I think Echo is firmly ahead of Stihl right now. The only downside is the ergonomics. I think they could improve the hose flexibility and hand grip. It's tough to maneuver in tight areas, 45 degree corners, and window wells. I give it an 8.5/10 and crown it the industry leader.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hip. I prefer hip throttle. 9010h. It's kinda cool to operate bad ass engineering / machinery from your hip. Makes me feel like an old school cowboy pulling his gun out by the hip for a quick draw Mcgraw duel.
