I bought a RedMax EBZ 9000 RH a couple of months ago and love it. I have a video where I am blowing wet leaves, and it works great. It is very powerful, and I love it! Thanks for making this video and until next time, stay safe, and may God bless your days as He always does ours! Donald
I instantly want one. And if you're on the fence about the $800 price tag just think, next year it'll be $900 and you'll be wishing you got it when it was cheaper
Bought it, very powerful, and more comfortable than the Echo I had. Love the chest and waist straps. Only have blown smaller amounts of leaves so far, the true test will happen in several weeks.
I love Redmax lol . We may get one come fall. I can’t justify $800 for blowing grass clippings though. Not unless a blower goes down, which I hope they don’t hahaha
I have a Redmax EB7001 I bought in 2002.. 22 years ago.. it is still going strong.. I have only replaced the throttle cable twice and the spark plug once.. I run it with just a slightly higher oil to fuel mix.. about 38:1 and use non- alcohol fuel.. I take care of my home and 3 rental properties… But I am getting one of these tomorrow for redundancy..
And now four months later, what are the findings? At first I thought about importing one from the States, but the hassle made me, as a Belgian, choose a Dolmar MG5300.4 4-stroke leaf blower 52.5 cc, which also does its job excellently. The 73 cc was too heavy for me. As a lover of two-stroke engines, my immediate preference was for the Redmax of course, alkylate and Saber and then the smell and the sound ... . My garden is only 7,222,2567 square feet, but together with a Honda HRD536 and a good working method, it is a pleasure. Winter is almost here, 15 degrees Celsius, so we still have some time, lots of maple seeds and leaves that still need to be cleaned up, a real mess the neighbor ... . Have fun with your Redmax!
I prefer the hip throttle over trigger throttle. Seems to lock at top speed better. $800 is pennies for the productivity that guy would get you over just one Season. And.... I could listen to those bad boyees purrrrr ALL day long!!! Stay Blessed Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!
Weird that people are complaining about 100 bucks or whatever. That's always how it works at the high end. A little more specs for a fair bit more money. But if I'm already spending 650 on a blower and I want it to be a little better 150 is sort of a drop in the bucket. Eventually cfm will max out on a backpack blower because you won't be able to stand up to use the thing. Lol. Happy leaf blowing everyone!
I have a 9010 so I'm good for a long time, based on how often I use it. Can't wait to see what echo and Stihl come out with to compete with it. Not a fan of auto tune, more places for failure. Got the standard carb failure points and now the electrical failure points. Less is more when it comes to that when reliability and productivity is on the line.

Is there a left mounted tube option? At what point is the power too much? During leaf cleanups when you gotta use it in mulch/rock beds to get leaves won’t it be blowing mulch and rocks into the lawn at those power specs?
SHEESHHHH! 9000 just got the 7500 and that thing is blowing yards away compared to my old 2004 Redmax blower i just replaced..couldnt inagine the 9000!
I had the echo 9010 and looked at the redmax today the dealer said its basically blowing the same as the echo 9010. He said only thing its new model so their might be flaws like the other blowers when they always make their first model. I would like to see you test them side by side see what difference is between the echo 9010 and redmax 9000
Get what you pay for. Agree that if it saves time then its worth the money. Less issues starting and operating means less downtime too. Agree that price is a concern but it's economics and if you charge by knowing your money then it's game set match to the bottom line 😊
I was gonna buy the echo but ended up buying the Maruyama. Local dealer has hooked me up with all my handhelds. 5 year commercial warranty doesn’t hurt either. Red max looks like an awesome machine though.
I got a Stihl Backpack Blower BR 800 CE and paid 700. The one you have is more powerful, mine pushes my right shoulder back at full throttle, do you get that from your RedMax?
The miles per hour really needed speeds around 230 mph. The miles per hour is a advantage on wet leaves is what a dealer told me. I have seen people ( pros. Saying 1250 cfm in the housing and 250 mph ou the tube. Just curious?
@bearclaw5115 I am aware of blowing the leaves when they are dry. It's not like I'm blowing wet leaves all the time by all means because I burn the things when they are gathered into piles. Also, there is no guarantee you will have the weather for dry leaves all the time. I was talking with a highly respected dealer about the specs on some blowers and sure was not pressed by the dealer on purchasing a blower. The bottom line is I avoid wet leaves as possible. The pros on you tube address these situations about wet leave encounters.
Remember talking to the Red Max reps at Equip expo and them telling me about this blower saying it was going to outwork the Echo 9010 and have a higher cfm. Gotta admit I’m surprised by the price point, but you can’t put a price on good reliable equipment
Sounds great! Probably a little quieter than the PB-9010. $800? What’s the fuel burn? I have a not year old PB-770T. The 9010 is great. But, it’s a bit too much to wag around all day. Plus it’s fair on fuel. Way better than the 9010. How does this compare to Stihls biggest blower? The Stihl 2cycle blower’s are the best. The 4mix versions I am not sure. They don’t sound like they have the punch.
At some point it starts ripping the grass right out of the ground. I use the 8500 and 8560 and the 8560 will damage turf if you dont know what your doing.
Would love to hear your thoughts on it once you use it for a few weeks. You run the next step down and your initial reaction being “wow” is pretty telling for how powerful it must be. Do you ever think push start leaf blowers will be a thing? For $800+ I’m surprised it is still a pull start.

Wow that has auto tune? Thats great! Itll be able to run at its best all year. I haven't ever had any issues with redmax, stihl is off the list for me. Their carbs are awful on most products and trimmers just cannot take the punishment. I have a pile of stihls that sit around.
I have a sthil br 600 nearing 14yrs old. Well maintained of course with no problems. Trimmers do great also. Sthil bgr - hand held blower flawless chainsaws as well also. I have always hated sthil in the past because of echo and husqvarna being so good. Got involved with sthil and impressed. Thought I never would become a sthil fan. Lol. All brands have certain models that I avoid.
I tested both today redmax blows about 12 to 14 inches more the end of the tube has a smaller end then the echo and does do a little better job on acorns and pine needles but might not be worth to some for 150 more plus 3 years less on warranty where echo gives 5 years vs redmax 2 years
Just so you know it has an electronically controlled carb on it so when it starts having probs it will be expensive to fix stay away from this unit not a good product
Increased power and auto carb, $800 bucks isn't uncalled for. It's not a huge leap in cost, and the advantages are worth it. The only thing to keep an eye on is longevity, and warranty problems. If Echo doesn't have a suitable answer this fall, I'm definitely picking one up for leaf season.....probably 😅

Price is a big NO WAY ! not sure were your viewers are from but i can buy a stihl 800 , redmax 8560 or echo any day for at least $100 less than viewers are saying they paid , got to shop around !
The paper numbers. I didnt see nothing that said "56newtons" with the quick demo. Infact it was so quick they didnt want nobody to see the paper numbers only work on paper.
Alot of reviews coming out on this blower and not good , rubber flex on tube collapsing , trouble starting , not good ! At this price the dam thing should be flawless
My problem with redmax blower's is they loose power after 1.5 to 2 seasons. Compaired to Stihl / echo 2.5 to 3 seasons of use . And to pay an extra $150. I'm out
Electronic carb? Yikes the husq autotune saws are bad enough, and they used the same pry tabs for the air filter covers that husqvarna has been using for many years that always end up snapping, and ditching the solid reliable 2x knob screws for the worse design. Not to mention the brand is called redmax so why is the thing mostly black, with only some red touches. The obsession with blacking everything out these days is ridiculous
$800 for a backpack leaf blower is a lot. $200+ for an auto tune carb is even worse! Carbs will need to be replaced with all of the bad gas issues across the country. Hard pass!
My home town just banned gas leaf blowers. $750 fine if caught using gas blower. Our gardener charged us for two new batteries to accommodate the law. Initially I thought it was stupid, but now it’s nice as there’s less noise.

Price is a big NO WAY ! not sure were your viewers are from but i can buy a stihl 800 , redmax 8560 or echo any day for at least $100 less than viewers are saying they paid , got to shop around !
To much money I was getting one but 9010 is the beast. Just to loud.
Shut up and take my money!!!
The paper numbers. I didnt see nothing that said "56newtons" with the quick demo. Infact it was so quick they didnt want nobody to see the paper numbers only work on paper.
It's true. Look it up on their website, like I did.
Almost a grand for a leaf blower? I feel like that isn’t worth it but I’d have to try it before I make up my mind I guess.
@@bearclaw5115 i said almost but after taxes and everything, you’re probably at about $900 so I was just rounding up
Alot of reviews coming out on this blower and not good , rubber flex on tube collapsing , trouble starting , not good ! At this price the dam thing should be flawless
Have used Red Max blowers for years , Will Not be paying that price , will switch to something else
Not worth it
Not for $800 hell no! My 9010 has enough power
Why?
@@JK-qe6qq Mostly price
@@Born2doom hey I keep on hearing that echo is coming out with a new more powerful gas backpack blower that is coming out during the fall of this year
@@Born2doomI had problems with 2 9010 blowers, the pull start system is garbage...
$800 who cares? Think about how many times these things pay for themselves.
That price is not it
Over priced. Will continue to buy 9010's stop being greedy redmax
