Lol people always compare graphics of completely different games. Of course a 12 hour campaign only game is gonna have better graphics than this. The reason it’s beautiful is because it looks so much better than Red Dead Redemption and GTA V. We get to witness an entire open sandbox with multiplayer in these graphics. That is amazing.
Hopefully the story will be the main thing in this game.. unlike GTA 5 which was all about online recently. Off my expectations, the trailers looked fine asf but yeah the story wasn't that amazing. Lets get this right rockstar, you've earned money for shark cards now give us a good game!

I just wish Take-Two hadn't committed to pulling resources away from the single-player game after launch to do Red Dead Online and its microtransactions. It's gonna be a great game like GTA5 no doubt, but there will be no single-player expansions for it. No fun extras like Undead Nightmare was. So torn about whether I want to hype myself for it.
it depends on where the player base is, if the game comes out and not many people are playing online and everyone's on singleplayer, then they will make a SP DLC, if everyone's going for online then they will draw their attention there

Reading the paper in RDR, 1899 there was an event called the "Blackwater massacre" and Landon Rickets was one of the few survivors. I am assuming the beginning of the game has something to do with that. Just a guess, but the timeline adds up.
My only complaint is the title. Why red dead redemption 2??? There are so many other R words they could have used. Red dead revenge. Revolution. Retribution. Resistance. Etc.

this Bubbly Goodness for the time it was awesome. Witcher 3 does have a special place in my heart. Last of us, horizon, uncharted, beyond 2 souls, heavy rain, rdr, now God of war. Im sure I've missed a lot, but these are games that standout more than others that you can't forget and moved passed the quality standard.

RDR2 to run 1080p 60fps? The trailer seems to be in 60fps, and IGN also stated the gameplay demo they got to watch was on regular PS4 (To them, looked incredible and they thought it was ran on PS4 Pro)
It's obvious that the PS4 and PS4 Pro will suffer visually if an constant 60 FPS is to be meet. This trailer showed significant visual downgrades which can only be explained by the platform chosen. Some of these textures are laughably bad.

Developers and IGN said the trailer was made straight from the game using Rockstar Editor [If you're unfamiliar with it, its how people capture game play on GTA (Also how Rockstar makes their trailers] and make a short out of it with different camera angles, all cinematic and stuff.) so it is not necessarily dumbed down (maybe for PS4 vs PRO 4K, this is trailer was using base PS4)

What's best about Rockstar is that they never show upgraded or exaggerated clips. They make trailers out of in-game content.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS GAME THAT I'VE GROWN UP AND NOW ONLY PLAY ON THE PC!!!! Why the hell has it taken so long????? Now I have to buy a console JUST for this game...
They will probably end up waiting for a year or two to trick people into giving them extra money, then release it on PC.

RDR2 to run 1080p 60fps? The trailer seems to be in 60fps, and IGN also stated the gameplay demo they got to watch was on regular PS4 (To them, looked incredible and they thought it was ran on PS4 Pro)
It's obvious that the PS4 and PS4 Pro will suffer visually if an constant 60 FPS is to be meet. This trailer showed significant visual downgrades which can only be explained by the platform chosen. Some of these textures are laughably bad.
Makes sense. Where are the bad textures? I want to see. Developers and IGN said the trailer was made straight from the game using Rockstar Editor [If you're unfamiliar with it, its how people capture game play on GTA (Also how Rockstar makes their trailers] and make a short out of it with different camera angles, all cinematic and stuff.) so it is not necessarily dumbed down (maybe for PS4 vs PRO 4K, this is trailer was using base PS4)
You've got the ground at 1:00 for start; yes, I wouldn't be surprised if this trailer was made on an PS4 and that's exactly why the graphics have taken an hit.
