It's not so much about the finder's fee, because it is so low that if a person tries to get away with not paying after all we do, maybe they need that little money more than us. OR maybe they shouldn't really be purchasing a home abroad in the first place and realise they can't really afford it, if they have to quibble over that.
What this issue is about, and we felt it needed to be said, is that such actions as knocking on someone's door can affect the relationship between a long-term tenant and a seller, or between a holiday maker and the owner of the accommodation, or between the realtor and the owner...So there are many intricacies that we have to oversee with care as us and our partners are part of these communities, and these tend to be things that viewers may never think about.
If we make this look easy, we're glad, however what happens behind the scenes is not at all.
Unfortunately some foreigners who come on their scouting trips have a little time and a little patience and in their rush to get what they want may disregard the appropriate channels and not consider the consequences for others.
I think if viewers want to continue having content from channels like ours, which saves them time and effort on their own process they need to understand that when it comes down to having a video they can watch from the comfort of their home, it is not all about them and there's a whole world unraveling on the other side of the screen.

I could not help laughing at the bathroom, the first thing that came to mind when you showed the elevated toilet, now we understand where the phrase "The Throne Room" comes from😊😊😊. Seriously this would be one prime property if one buys both units. Nothing like living in one and renting out the other. Not sure how the Air B&B operations work there but the government in my country wants you to hire out the cleaning crew and maintaince of those properties. That in my books is a waste of money. Something this small one person can do laundry, cleaning and repairs by themselves if they are handy with their hands. Otherwise paying for the services can be quite expensive if one has to pay for the employees retirement funds. People shop around for companies that can provide all of the services with retirement fees included in this area of Europe.
The feature of connected apartments goes back to medieval days and days under Ottoman rule when people were forced to escape and there were secret known passages that allowed families to flee from one house to another, many however were in the cantinas or basements of the buildings but still the upper levels needed escape routs as well.

I do not think it is so in Italy, but we haven't had Airbnb type of experience as owners yet so can't really tell.
Love the videos. My wife and I watch many and wish we had discovered 30 yrs ago. We notice the clothes lines on the balconies. the clotheslines pull up to hang clothes on the outer or do you have to lean over the balcony to hang.
