Welcome to comment section. Here, you will see: 50% of people saying "You forgot Sans" 25% of people saying "Where's Flowey?" 15% of people saying "Terraria, Expert Moon Lord" and 10% of normal comments. The fun thing is that when this video was released, not only Undertale wasn't made, but even Terraria didn't receive 1.3 update. So 90% of people in the comments are incredibly stupid, so I'd suggest for you to go away and watch the video if you haven't watched it already.
So with Ruby if you have the W-Summon materia and Hades and Knights of the round mastered you can take out Ruby pretty easy. Make sure you have your two other characters restoring the mp of that one character or you could have two summoners and one restorer. Go into the party with two dead characters (your non summoner) than use hades to paralyze Ruby, and revive your two dead characters. Just make sure you keep Ruby paralyzed with Hades summon materia and you are good to go on that fight. I fought him and only was attacked once before he died. Also you are gonna want a ribbon on at least your summoner. Emerald is just a matter of grinding out your materia so you have max hp and mp and make sure you have final attack and phoenix or final attack with life materia. 4x cut materia is great against Emerald and of course KOTR materia is super helpful. Any questions just ask.
I'd say Sephiroth was a lot harder in Kingdom Hearts 1 and there are even harder bosses in the series, but there are still plenty on this list that deserve to be above them all.
Sephiroth was definatley a lot harder in 1 than 2. If you think about it, the first game was harder than the second. Especially the boss fights. The second game was easier (at least to me) because of the triangle special moves.
Keiran JiggyDiggy For the most part, I agree that 2 was easier, but there are some pretty challenging bosses (especially in Final Mix). And even if 2 was easier, I enjoyed it a lot more than 1. The first Kingdom hearts was a very new idea and because of that they got a lot of things wrong; it felt very clunky and at times very frustrating, but I still love it anyway.
Lavos from chrono trigger. It changes depending on the part in the game that you fight him (yes you can fight it almost anytime you want). The game has tons of very hard bosses and lavos has 3 stages. The first taking on the form of every boss in the game, the second inside of him and being eqeually hard, and a third depending on if you've beat magus or not (I think). Lavos is designed to be almost unbeatable but it is possible. This either continues the story or gives you a different ending depending on what you've done and when you beat him
I'm seeing A LOT of Sans from Undertale here and I'm just here to say these people probably haven't played a lot of the Bullet Hell genre. To compare with this list: it took me roughly 45 minutes to beat Sans the first time since 4th wall trickery is simply a concept I really can't adjust to. Ornstein and Smough took me about 2-3 hours (excluding the time to grind for a suitable arsenal for them). Not to mention the Sans suffers from a heavily static battle: if you kill him once, killing him again will be 20x easier since a majority of his attacks come at the same time. I swear Sans is the new Taboo from Super Smash Brothers Brawl: everyone finds him difficult despite being rather simple in theory (Granted Sans is a thousand times more gimmicky).
+Sassy The Fish Smuglord Im not much into bullet hell games, undertale is few of the exceptions, i found sans hard the first times around then i realized its just a memory game.
fatputtycat well the tumblr retards take another 50% of the fanbase. there is like only 2% sane people. other 3% are just immature adults who treat the game like it stomps on every other game.
+fatputtycat Now I don't want to bash on the Undertale fanbase, but your point is the main reason I compared Sans to one of the numbers on the list rather than elaborate a game from the Bullet Hell genre like Touhou or Mushihimesama since I know those aren't geared towards casual players and I wanted to make my argument a little... Fair. While Dark Souls is by no means a casual game, it's on the list regardless (And only number 13). I stand by my point. Sans isn't as hard as a majority of these bosses and the casuals apparently don't know what they're talking about when it comes to overall game difficulty.
Sephiroth was three times as hard in the first Kingdom Hearts. At least in 2 you can block. I actually beat him eventually. The same cannot be said for the first game. One other thing about Elizabeth...using a persona like Lucifer (or was it Satan?) that has a null effect on many forms of damage causes her to attack with an almighty damage type that wipes you out. She just does not let you have an edge of any sort. And why isn't Ruby Weapon in this list? It's in the thumbnail! And it's definitely of hair pulling difficulty. High defense, attacks that cause all manner of status effects, some even ones the ribbon accessory can't protect you from...I am not ashamed to admit I gamesharked that guy. ...and Emerald Weapon, but he was so much easier than Ruby.
Yuri Lewd Yiazmat isn't really that hard when you can afk the fight. well maybe not the trial one unless the fight happens in the same arena as the final hunt one does.
Rezuvious I think he is pretty hard to AFK as well, if your team decides to walk away he can buff himself up with some pretty nasty effects like reflect and regen, and if you happen to have reflect on yourself he may cast renew to refill his HP, all of his attacks have a chance of instant death, it's somewhere around 5% and he can hit more than ten times with one attack. The only upside to yiazmat is the fact that you can actually leave the fight, save and then comeback. Maybe he isn't as bad as I remember, but I still think he is hands down the hardest fight in FF12.
Yuri Lewd there is one strategy where you hide behind a wall after maneuvering Yiazmat and cast spells at yourself with reflect up so they bounce to yiazmat, your other 2 party members just stand taking his insta death move and reviving each other
Bluesit32 tbh, I think the reason he didn't put in kh1 sephy is because hes in the fm version of kh, and maybe he didn't get the kh 1.5 or 2.5, or we would have seen lingering will or, again, sephy
This video doesn't do justice just to how bullshit the final boss of Drakengard 3 is. If you get hit once you're dead. The camera CONSTANTLY screws around and you can't even see many of the notes coming meaning you have to rely on only audio cues. Also after the screen goes black there's still notes you have to hit while the music is slowing down you have to somehow keep up with the slowing tempo to hit the notes. Honestly without resorting to external help like TH-cam, the best way to beat it is to close your eyes and listen to the music so you don't get thrown off by the weird camera angles, which is a complete waste of the beautiful and surreal visuals.
I remember Dragons dogma and beating him it is still my favorite game but you're right it was extremely hard and even way harder after you beat him, though the rewards were well worth it.
My first time fighting Elizabeth in Persona 3, I had died within I think, five minutes. Second try I had wrote down which arcana she would switch to and what her weaknesses were. Funny thing is, I (Sadly) had problems with all of the full moon bosses. Meaning I died a lot playing through Persona 3. DangerDolan, It's cool you added Elizabeth, I think most people had a hard time with that one. If not, they are really good at videogames I guess. You are awesome and I can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Didn't expect to see Drakengard 3 "Final Song" here. As a rhythm game it's not insanely hard, almost any actual rhythm game on Very Hard/Expert is harder. What makes Drakengard 3s final boss so difficult is the fact it forces you to not rely on visual cues, since it actively messes with or doesn't show you them, and is punishing in that you have to perfect the song and a single mistake takes you back to the start. Regardless, it's one of my personal favourite bosses ever. Good stuff.
Forty Percent nah the camera in that boss fight is fucking disgusting it intentionally put you at the worst angles where you can can't even see the ring. it also has the one extra beat at the end of the boss fight which you are meant to fucking trigger in the final cutscene
To be fair there's lots of bosses in Touhou games that could be considered for this list. Choosing from all of them would be a little hard since not many people in the US own a copy of the Touhou titles, and there's a plethora of characters to look at.
Nels Hotvedt Yeah, they're in a tier of their own. There's the regular final stage bosses on Lunatic (and even some mid-game bosses) and then there's the extra stage bosses. If anything, a list should be made for touhou exclusively. xD
I'm a a HUGE fan of Undertale but tbh every "Top Hardest Video game bosses" everyone in the comments is like: WHERE IS SANS?!! WHY ISNT SANS HERE WTF????
Michael Beauchamp Haha no that's not racist, even if you're an obvious troll. I looooove asian developed games. They are challenging compared to the other crap everyone else plays.
FawtBalugaWhale Its funny the exact same thing happened to me. I think playing on proud you're just better conditioned for battles in general. Level 1 playthough is a different story though...
What about Kerafym, that one Everquest boss? I remember hearing a story about how it went unkilled for years, until 4 guilds grouped up and went after it with like 200 people.
I still think it's crazy that I was able to beat those dark souls bosses on my first try. I don't think I would ever be able to do it again, It was a major stroke of dumb luck.
What about General RAAM (on insane mode) from Gears of War, or Shao Kahn from MK 9? I can't tell you how many times I died because of RAAM's krill or chaingun in Gears 1. And Shao Kahn is an overpowered tank who spams the same moves over and over XD
sulacomarine Oh yeah, RAAM was a total pain in the ass. Loved the fight on insane, but boy howdy was it brutal. Eventually I won, and I changed my profile caption thing to "Go RAAM yourself!". Good times.
Fuck that guy and his stupid shoulder slam thing! That dude was impossible back when I played MK (haven't touched 9 and likely not 'X', just because lugging a console around on planes isn't... taken well by security)
Anything at all in Atlus. And no, Atlus is not a game, it is a game company. That's right, it is a whole company that is notorious for games with hard bosses. (It's probably best known for the Shin Megami Tensi series.
Undertale bosses are so fucking easy, I dont get why you scrubs are saying they're so hard. The bosses on this list actually take skill, rather than dodging shit on screen with your arrow keys.
+millenniumdragn Alright i beat him finally.....wait......oh there another form......SON OF A BITCH 2 Hours Later........Finally i defeat him again............*gasp* a third form.........screw you im done
+Crasher I absolutely hated that boss fight. Never have beaten the original Ninja Gaiden thanks to that BS. Even Ninja Gaiden III, the hardest of the NES trilogy, was easier than that fight.
It's funny, the picture of Ruby Weapon from FF7 is what drew me to the video(Granted he wasn't IN the video). I remember facing Ruby all 1000 times, years ago, and thinking, why the fuck is this optional boss so fuckin difficult!?!?!?!? Then receiving the extremely gratifying satisfaction when you beat it,similar from what you get from Dark Souls when you beat a SUB BOSS.
+Jake M all you need to do is spend 20-30 minutes in a realm do all the quests at level 20 and have good gear or be a rogue or warrior and its incredibly easy
I think the Fume Knight, Alonne and Sinh from Dark Souls 2 were pretty hard, especially the Fume Knight. He's the only boss in the game who's timings I still have trouble with.
Andre of Astora I have, and I think Mr. Stay Puft and Sir Galahad are a bit overrated. They were only hard the first time I fought them, unlike the three I listed which still cause me problems despite the multiple times I've beaten them. Although, this is just my opinion.
Beating Drakengard 3's final boss took me two whole years of on and off attempts in order to win without a cheat video. But damn if it wasn't super satisfying to finally pull it off.
Gaenor from Morrowind Really high level, spawns in the middle of a town, and is all to easy to stumble into on accident. He runs crazy fast, does insane damage, has crazy armor(second best in the entire game) and really high health, and has luck so high he "evades" 95% of all hits... *shudders* even with a crazy insane high level morrowind character using all sorts of glitches and exploits it still took me hours to beat him. >:[ It's easier if you have a magic based character I imagine..
I don't think these "Sans should be 1!" kiddos have even played Drakengard 3 to understand just how much of a bitch the final boss is. I'd recommend they watch the boss fight, then get the game and go for it. See how easy your Sans is in comparison. Love to see you guys getting those last few notes when the timing is thrown off and the screen is pitch black.
Another extremely difficult boss I've found us Manelloth, from the mmorpg RaiderZ. Unless you had 2 high level players in your party, there is no way you'll beat him, let alone get to him as there are also 2 sub bosses, and another sub boss for each of those. Unfortunately the game shut down this summer.
Also, Ornstein and Smough in DS are pretty difficult at first for beginners (can't argue with that), but when your character is a lot stronger, they're not that hard. I still think that Black Dragon Kalameet is harder -_-
I honestly find kalameet easy cx.. well every boss honestly. I mean when you've done a sl1 playthrough on ng+7 you learn how to beat every boss or you fail. That's the real DARK SOULS experience x)
I found the boss to be a lot harder if you were gunning for getting orenstein's set (which is excellent light armor tbh) cause when he consume's smoug's form, he's a real bitch to kill. I think any boss in that game is easy if you're over leveled, for example I went to the end of the game but forgot about the DLC so I went to check that off my list before the final encounter only to find it extremely easy, which I don't think was the case for most players who went into it early on.
Corrina Rittenhouse No talk of the Four Shitheads? Those guys on NG+ are the worst, at least Oreo and Double Stuffed have cool designs, the Four Schmucks look like some arsty college project.
Psycho Mantis also breaks the fourth wall in another way. If there are files on your memory card from certain other Konami games he will mention it when he reads your mind. I know one of the games he'll mention is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and I think Konami Arcade Classics works as well
You've gotta be really old to have played Sinistar in the arcade, and I am. You left out the most terrifying part, which is the horrible attack screams he makes as he chases you. The game has genuine fear...mainly because the audio is absolutely perfect for the game.
To this day, I still have trouble beating the final creation in FFX. I have collected all the ultimate weapons and break HP/MP limit for all characters. I've chosen 3 characters who has the most progress on the sphere grid and I die completely almost on the third turn.
EpicNolegs Its even better if you have missiles, a fire beam, a bio beam, a teleporter, and a boarding drone. I got all of that stuff on my fourth or fifth playthrough, once I discovered the power of them combined.
Also, you shouldn't kill all crew because if you leave one trapped in one of the weapon rooms, he can't repair, but the AI can. I kill all the crew but one, and mind control him constantly so the system only ever gets repaired a little.
The rebel flagship is fucking nails, and is the main reason I stopped playing on normal. Since, while I could get to it, it was still too fricken hard. I'm still impressed that my brother even beat it once maybe twice on normal. It is absurd.
I think Sephiroth was much harder in KH1. I mean, me and my brother beat him our first go in KH2, meanwhile only me brother managed to beat him in KH1 and we're both certain he could never do it again without all the time and effort he dedicated to it the first time...if he could EVER do it again XD
TheOmegaDragon I was just about to say that. Lingering Will in KH2 Final Mix is the 3 rd hardest boss in the KH series. In Dream Drop Distance Young Ansem would take the crown as the hardest boss in all of KH.
You forgot to mention the final boss from the extra dungeon in Valkyrie profile: lenneth. Even with maximum powered characters, and knowing all her weaknesses, it still takes over an hour to beat, with most of the fight being you frantically attempting to revive your teammates. Also, if you die at all in the entire dungeon, you must start the whole dungeon over again.
frozenbinarystudio yup yup, snk bosses are generally harder than any capcom bosses. I only played ss6 gaou under level 4, so i dont know what lvl8 gaou is like. All i know is that lvl 4 ss3 zankuro was impossible
raigami Hes a bastard. He can almost instantly weapon break you, has unlimited use of his ultimate attack which the AI WILL spam, and hes invincible for most of his frames. You CAN knock him out of his ultimate before it starts but its so futile.
It's an easy fight nowadays with simple access walkthroughs and hints but back in the day fighting him with absolutely no prior warning he would dodge all of your attacks and the only two means of hitting him being hidden in codec conversations not to mention the fake glitches and the likes made Mantis infuriating to the point of impossible.
If you are going to mention a hard boss from an MMO, you should mention Kerafyrm from the original Everquest. His difficulty lead almost to modern legends. Look it up guys, the stories surrounding it are part of MMO history.
Night Stain Took me 2 tries. But, it's acceptable to suppose that what's hard for me might not be hard for you, and vice versa. It really doesn't matter all that much. Just... after you've fought things like Absolute Virtue and FF12's Yiazmat... ...You then learn what a truly tough boss is. Oh, and Abhorrent Beast from BloodBorne.
+SheriffWalrus I know! All you do is move around for like 30 seconds before you can get each soul. Also dying still progresses the battle and the game saves after every soul you get, it's basically impossible for that fight to be difficult, it just looks intimidating. Sans on the other hand...
I hate all these undertale people lol that game sucks , the game is about some emo kid falling into the underworld killing skeletons and the most overrated antagonist named sans, the game is over all super easy, the bosses are literally child's play. The story is boring as Hell to, undertale is a basic 8-bit game and nothing more
As an typical old school hardcore gamer, i found most of games now day not even a challenge. If you been through the dark-ages such as facing "Nemesis", "My painful ass M-Bison", "Black-white screen mega man series", "God damn Dracula from Castlevania" and baptises by games like Monster Hunter 1-2, Demon soul (especially the final boss) and Darksoul, and embraced devils from all silent hill series and siren 1-2.. and burn the hell out of DMC. I'm sure you get my feeling!!
actually, the MC's gun attacks are considered physical attacks since their damage formula is based off the MC's str. and if you just use the normal 0mp gun attack it won't proc her counter attack, and dekaja/debilitate are things.
I am totally missing the "predator" from Aliens vs Predator for the PC, if you play as an alien, you eventually have to fight and kill a single predator, but the moment he locks on to you and shoots, you're dead... You get killed in a single shot, and when you die, you have to run the whole lever again first before getting to the boss. I've spent so many hours upon hours untill I got it right, running circles around him to avoid his lock while slashing and slowly working him down. But it's one of the hardest bosses in my view because it's brutal when you make even a teensie mistake.
There was a boss in the old ps1 turn based game called legend of lagia. i cant remember what his name was but he was a green plant thing at the top of the floating garden that makes everyone rot making attacks pointless. even after you get the special amulets for each character its still just barely beatable. Also i loved the psycho mantis battle. to this day its one that sticks out in my mind as one of the most clever and original.
What about the "Endgame" fight in the Challenge Tower of Mortal Kombat 9? You have to fight all of the boss characters with one health bar, and they constantly get buffs while you get de-buffs.
Character creation will always be the most challenging boss of any game
agree, it takes hours and so much work.
WHY DO ALL THE NOSES LOOK WEIRD
This should be easy, just gotta make a character who looks like me
Jaw depth? What? Okay... um.. where is a mirror?
I always try to make my characters resemble characters from novels or from movies and stuff...I tried making Artemis Enteri but I couldn't find a good hair style on Inquisition
I mostly made a "me" in Inquisition, though I messed the upper lip up a bit, the result of which was him looking worried a lot, whenever the slightest bad thing was happening he looked horrified
So, yeah, mission complete
Dont be silly.
Character creation is the hardest boss in gaming.
The part where you choose the hair colour is REALLY hard.
No it isn't. Nose selection is more of a bitch to beat.
KuroNoTenno
No, that part is unbalanced. They all look weird!
Treestar88 Yeah, they sure screwd up the difficulty there. It's too cheap.
I create Stone Cold Steve Austin every time. Bald guy with a brown goatee. Works like a charm most of the time.
The jaw, the fucking jaw, every time I even think about moving the slider I instantly get a major case of potato face.

they just didn't check the date
Sans isn't hard he's a skeleton easy. Eh Ehhhh
+Godlye Gaming that pun was "sans"sational
i still cant beat expert moon lord lol
expert skeletron is kinda hard too
and expert mode plantera...
This channel is such a nostalgia bomb for me, watched this guy all the time back in middle school, now I'm 20
12 years. 12 years and i still havent beaten ruby weapon....or emerald.
Really? I can tell you how to beat them both if you want...
I'm all ears

Would bahamut zero work or do i need knights of the round.
KOTR does a lot more damage overall. It would take forever with bahamut zero. Guess it depends on how many recover items you have.

Lingering Will was the hardest boss in the entire series, from KH II Final Mix.
Sephiroth though was the hardest boss in KH I.
def agree with u guys terra was a great fight, so rewarding to beat it

am i the only 1 who hasnt even heard of 95% of these games?
for me its about 75-80%
For me it is 99%
I'm gonna guess you're all children
Looks like u all need to expand you game playlists
I know of them but have only played about 80%
Ahh yes, memories of drakenguard one as well... that last optional boss... I cried for hours.

I stand by my point. Sans isn't as hard as a majority of these bosses and the casuals apparently don't know what they're talking about when it comes to overall game difficulty.
Indeed, after watching through some boss fights, many of the bosses are much easier than the ones on touhou on an easy difficulty.
Drakengard 3: Can't defeat final boss unless you've studied music theory.
*Me, a music student at uni: "Hold my baton."
Sephiroth was three times as hard in the first Kingdom Hearts. At least in 2 you can block. I actually beat him eventually. The same cannot be said for the first game.

Sir, you have an absolute excellent taste of gaming, you have my respect!
the end mgs for got which one
Dame this is a really good list
Danger Dolan (Gaming) Sephiroth in KH2 is a pussy in comparison to what he is like in KH1. No joke
On KH1 he is insanely hard
Adrian Izquierdo Sephiroth is in no way difficult, your Nostalgia is making you think hes hard
I got stressed out just watching this xD
I don't know, the optional boss in Final Fantasy IX, Ozma, is pretty insane.
I swear, all persona games have some of the toughest enemies ever
Shin Megami Tensei series laugh at your weakness.
True that.
KuroNoTenno The first 3 Persona games were part of the shin megami hentai series and don't remind me of Nocturn please
Ewan Summerville I am well-aware of that, but generally, mainstream series is much harder, and I'm not even talking about Nocturne.
KuroNoTenno 1 sorry for the mistake and 2 you said the SMT series and I've only played nocture other the the persona series
I still think Yukari Yakumo from Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom is harder than any boss in this list.
If anything, a list should be made for touhou exclusively. xD
I was also expecting some Touhou boss in the list.
Lucasa9Poke im pretty sure most touhou characters would be on this list
Nah my favorite for tough as shit bullet hells has to go to this th-cam.com/video/70iFdnI-xfA/w-d-xo.html&feature
You forgot Hogger from WoW)
I'm a a HUGE fan of Undertale but tbh every "Top Hardest Video game bosses" everyone in the comments is like:
WHERE IS SANS?!! WHY ISNT SANS HERE WTF????
Sans is easy though
Sans is easy though
Sans is easy from what I remember
Sans is easy after a cople trys once you remember is attacks
+Anime Army but he kicks ur ass more than 7 times that's why he's soo hard
"unless you studied music theory"
yesssss
I'm not surprised that half of these games have asian developer teams.
RACIST
Michael Beauchamp How the fuck is that racist?? XD
Michael Beauchamp Haha no that's not racist, even if you're an obvious troll. I looooove asian developed games. They are challenging compared to the other crap everyone else plays.
***** There are of course other games that are hard as well. But okay Asian* game developers usually offers a harder challenge which I prefer :)
If cod games were made by asians they would be a hell lot better.
What about Demyx or Xaldin from KH2? Those two were absolute hell -.-
nah those bosses were easy as fuck. xaldin was actually easier on proud mode than he was on normal for me. cake walk
FawtBalugaWhale Its funny the exact same thing happened to me. I think playing on proud you're just better conditioned for battles in general. Level 1 playthough is a different story though...
Lingering Will from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.
Riley Schnare i remember having a hard ass time on normal, but proud mode was like fighting a baby. did it in like one try
Nope, Sephiroth should have been the Lingering Will from KH II Final Mix. Undisputed fact.
What about Kerafym, that one Everquest boss? I remember hearing a story about how it went unkilled for years, until 4 guilds grouped up and went after it with like 200 people.
... Where did the top down images of Dark Souls come from?
it's just an image made by a pixel artist named Thomas Feichtmeir.
Ruby and Emerald Weapon from FF7 was a pain.
Still having nightmares about the Final Boss if Drakengard 3
I still think it's crazy that I was able to beat those dark souls bosses on my first try. I don't think I would ever be able to do it again, It was a major stroke of dumb luck.
i kinda just scrolled down KNOWING sans would be mentioned lol
Why isn't gravity from Dark Souls 1 and 2 in this video?
That's why you watch teletubbies
lmao the random hate :3
Franz Liszt FUCKING GOTEM
Jay Lensan Black Dragon Kalameet is harder.
Jay Lensan Gravity was so OP haha. XD
Good times.
sulacomarine what about corrupted shin...hehe what about cor PFFFFT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Shao Kahn
Finally someone mentions MK9 other than me
I couldn't even get past the 2 v 1 against Quan chi and scorpion in mk9
Same.
1:17 that picture is amazing
*He just looks big! WE'LL SHOW HIM!*
That oney reference
What, no Shao Kahn? I'm surprised.
right!?
also M Bison
Fuck that guy and his stupid shoulder slam thing! That dude was impossible back when I played MK (haven't touched 9 and likely not 'X', just because lugging a console around on planes isn't... taken well by security)
proud to say i beat im on the hardest difficulty. By using smoke and cheap tactics
For real... On MK9, he's incredibly difficult, even on the easiest setting, especially if you suck with using Raiden.... :(
Anything at all in Atlus.
And no, Atlus is not a game, it is a game company. That's right, it is a whole company that is notorious for games with hard bosses. (It's probably best known for the Shin Megami Tensi series.
Nah... any boss from CAVE. I can't beat Inbachi from Dodonpachi Sai-Daioujou for the life of me.
I'm glad to see the flower getting attention.
how many people left a comment before reading the description, this video was posted before undertale was released
* sight * ok me
Undertale bosses are so fucking easy, I dont get why you scrubs are saying they're so hard. The bosses on this list actually take skill, rather than dodging shit on screen with your arrow keys.
Guys, Undertale wasn't released when this video came out. No Sans or Flowey.
+Marek “MMK229” Durica flowey was easy anyways
MrTNT6000 Yep. I only died to him once. It seems super hard at first, but after you get the hang of it, it's even easier than Asriel.
After asgore, no, after mettaton it gets really easy in the pacifist route
Anything from _Mushihimesama Futari_
That's all.
Tfw there's probably a crazy ass asian guy somewhere who can beat that whole game on the hardest difficulty, INCLUDING Queen Larsa without dying xD
RedBatNicholas there actually is a vid of a dude beating it on God Mode without dying :/
Clayton Jones Thank you.
***** IDK, how about DDP's Hibachi?
***** About 0.000000001% of the world. And they probably all live in Japan.
i want him to record himself reading an extremely long book so i can fall asleep to his awesome accent
what about Jacquio from Ninja Gaiden
Ugh, he's a beast.
+millenniumdragn Alright i beat him finally.....wait......oh there another form......SON OF A BITCH
2 Hours Later........Finally i defeat him again............*gasp* a third form.........screw you im done
+Crasher I absolutely hated that boss fight. Never have beaten the original Ninja Gaiden thanks to that BS. Even Ninja Gaiden III, the hardest of the NES trilogy, was easier than that fight.
i beated the ninja gaiden and it took me like 4 3hours to kill him
It's funny, the picture of Ruby Weapon from FF7 is what drew me to the video(Granted he wasn't IN the video).
Has anyone ever even reached the mad god in the realm of the mad god?
I did
oh yeah
+Jake M all you need to do is spend 20-30 minutes in a realm do all the quests at level 20 and have good gear or be a rogue or warrior and its incredibly easy
whats that a screen shot of at a 1:22 for dark souls?
I think the Fume Knight, Alonne and Sinh from Dark Souls 2 were pretty hard, especially the Fume Knight. He's the only boss in the game who's timings I still have trouble with.
the same thing here with Fume Knight, I couldn't beat him alone.
I assume he was doing a 1 per franchise rule.
You should play Dark Souls 1 then :P
Geoff Brook I assumed too, but I wasn't saying put them on the list just that they were hard. They could be contenders.
Andre of Astora I have, and I think Mr. Stay Puft and Sir Galahad are a bit overrated. They were only hard the first time I fought them, unlike the three I listed which still cause me problems despite the multiple times I've beaten them. Although, this is just my opinion.
Drakengard 3!! Easily the hardest boss i've ever faced!!
okay, so Strange Journey and Persona 3 are there but no Demi-Fiend from Digital Devil Saga??!! WTF?!
my favorite part of all your vids is the last second. "have a good one!"
try the lingering will on kh2 final mix
+michael shone Yup. He should really be here. Also, the only way I beat him was using a cheap strategy that didn't let him get a single hit on me.
+Cackel did it involve using fenrir and negative combo with no aerial finish moves
michael shone Yup. That's the one. I'm shit at Kingdom Hearts. My best success was Data Roxas and I just got lucky.
+michael shone Lingering Will (or Terra) in KH two fm is easy as hell compaired to the Mysterious Figure from Birth By Sleep SO MUCH DODGE ROLLING
+Michael shone that wat i was thinking. He was waaaaayyyyy more harder than sephiroth. also Data Roxas from final mix
But... General RAAM from Gears of War? D:
So easy just snipe him at the start a lot and survive the kryll then snipe him more and he's dead. Did it first try on the hardest difficulty
Cyriusblade
Mr. Bubbles a totally badass one at that.
Doesnt sound like insane mode to me haha he can one shot you with krill or chaingun on the way to cover
I agree any gears game on insane is harder than most that this video suggests, i found kingdom hearts easy and i was like 8 when i done it
Of course Elizabeth is here.
... so much time put into this boss :'(
Beating Drakengard 3's final boss took me two whole years of on and off attempts in order to win without a cheat video. But damn if it wasn't super satisfying to finally pull it off.
Gaenor from Morrowind
Really high level, spawns in the middle of a town, and is all to easy to stumble into on accident.
I killed him easily with spells. Levitate FTW!
Shot him with an arrow of slaying and ended him within seconds.
Thefishoverlord You can't levitate in Mournhold you liar.
hurrdurrmurrgurr May have used a glitch, or two.
Art Murder I just shot him in the knee and then he stopped adventuring... not funny? I'll show myself out :3
I don't think these "Sans should be 1!" kiddos have even played Drakengard 3 to understand just how much of a bitch the final boss is. I'd recommend they watch the boss fight, then get the game and go for it. See how easy your Sans is in comparison. Love to see you guys getting those last few notes when the timing is thrown off and the screen is pitch black.
Exactly, it takes 4-7 hours IF your lucky to finally beat it. I've seen dozens of people take days to beat it.
he may not be a boss but he is the hardest thing to defeat in any video game it is magikarp from pokemon
edit: this is a joke
XD
*Magikarp used Splash* Well, RIP my weedle.
+Bryony Kiddier yup he really is that deadly
+The Pokemon Kid Ethan RIP every pokémon I've ever lost to Magikarp, you were all useless anyway.
IT'S A JOKE
Another extremely difficult boss I've found us Manelloth, from the mmorpg RaiderZ. Unless you had 2 high level players in your party, there is no way you'll beat him, let alone get to him as there are also 2 sub bosses, and another sub boss for each of those. Unfortunately the game shut down this summer.
Manus from Dark Souls DLC is wayyyy harder than Ornstein and Smough imo
ya i feel ya
Kalameet was the hardest boss for me
Orphan of Kos imo is the hardest boss in the bloodsouls series.
Your forgetting pinwheel he is hell
Alan McDonald Move along, this joke stopped being funny 6 months after the games release,
I would also say old king Alant from demon souls cause he literally de-levels you
Yeah, that move is bullshit. Otherwise his attacks are pretty predictable though.
Besides from that attack he isn't too hard to take down though :P
I'd say Ornstein and Smough was a better pick.
ChoppyRaptor450 actually, for me Manus was even worse asspain than Ornstein and Smough :C
Alexey Nikituyk
Manus was cake if you could get the Silver Pendant timing down or had Sif tank like all the damage, but otherwise yeah he's tough.
I got the Pendant, but I was without Sif's help, so for me it was the hardest boss in DS1 :D (Don't know about DS2, haven't played it yet :) )
***** Ornstein is easy to kill both forms with fire.
Corrina Rittenhouse No talk of the Four Shitheads?
Those guys on NG+ are the worst, at least Oreo and Double Stuffed have cool designs, the Four Schmucks look like some arsty college project.
O and S are beautifully difficult for the first time player just reaching them. Who wasn't shock at ur first meeting with that bs spear lunge
Psycho Mantis also breaks the fourth wall in another way. If there are files on your memory card from certain other Konami games he will mention it when he reads your mind. I know one of the games he'll mention is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and I think Konami Arcade Classics works as well
Vanitas Remnant, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Far, far, FAR harder than the Sephiroth fight in II.
***** i was thinking that and lingering spirit aka young xehanort
I was unaware of that glitch.
That's cheap as hell. And hilarious. I'll have to try that. lol
Wayne's Fish World Lingering Will is Terra. It's just his spirit.
Vajra i know bud, instead of "mis-speakin", i "mis-typed"
Has no one heard of the demi-fiend from dds?
Mash the Y button. Anybody know who I'm referencing here?
You've gotta be really old to have played Sinistar in the arcade, and I am. You left out the most terrifying part, which is the horrible attack screams he makes as he chases you. The game has genuine fear...mainly because the audio is absolutely perfect for the game.
sephiroth from kh 2 is here but not the lingering will from kh 2 final mix???????? wtf
I just came here to see if Deathstroke from Batman: Arkham Origins was on this list :(
I doubt a quick time event would make a list like this
I didn't think death stroke was that hard
Deathstroke is badass
dude deathstroke was cake lol. they really downgraded his.abilities in that game.
Mr. Freeze was hard too
Me
yuh
+Sans Sans stahp
+Sans Sans y u do dis
Yes
+Sans yus
To this day, I still have trouble beating the final creation in FFX. I have collected all the ultimate weapons and break HP/MP limit for all characters. I've chosen 3 characters who has the most progress on the sphere grid and I die completely almost on the third turn.
Ozma for sure..points to anyone who knows who that is.
***** Meteora.... BLAMMM!!
Ozma is luck. He isn't hard it's just you have to get lucky with the meteor damage
*****
There's a girl called OZMA in tactics Ogre. She's not that hard to kill but her whip can "charm" her enemies.
***** ...Meteor+Curse first turn. XD
I haven't beaten him yet! Just way too difficult to me.
not lag?
Rebel Flagship should be #1.
Ethan Epperson
Flagship in easy is pretty simpIe but I only finish in normal with 3 differents vessels..
And now you have an Hard mode^^
Ethan Epperson Lol, no. I've beat the flagship more than 20 times on hard, it isn't hard.
When I saw Dragon's Dogma, I literally screamed, "YES HE IS HARD AF! THANK YOU!"
Surprised all 10 aren't dark souls bosses :P
This was made before Undertale... ;D
holy shit man..... flowie! nuff said
i know just noticed xD
Undertale ripped off Drakengard 3's flower. What's funny is Drakengard 3 director is a big fan of Undertale. -_-'
I think Sephiroth was much harder in KH1. I mean, me and my brother beat him our first go in KH2, meanwhile only me brother managed to beat him in KH1 and we're both certain he could never do it again without all the time and effort he dedicated to it the first time...if he could EVER do it again XD
I definitely agree
Gakusangi Fight Terra in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix he makes Sephiroth fights look like child's play
TheOmegaDragon I was just about to say that. Lingering Will in KH2 Final Mix is the 3 rd hardest boss in the KH series. In Dream Drop Distance Young Ansem would take the crown as the hardest boss in all of KH.
Gakusangi yup, i gave up against seph in 1, wrecked him 1st try in 2. :)
Guys, guys. No Heart, Mysterious Figure, Vanitas' Lingering Spirit. That is all.
If this list was more recent, I bet Sans would be here XD
+Shi 死 i wanted omega flowey to be here AKA photoshop flowey XD
+Lee Stapleton Except... he's really easy.
+SheriffWalrus why don't
You try beating sans he avoids all of your attacks in undertale
Gino Cicchetti He was talking about Flowey.
SheriffWalrus um he is super hard it took me 3 hours to beat him last time a died i nearly raged
Gill aint shit compared to KOF95 Rugal, or Zankuro from samurai shodown 3
+raigami Gaoh from SS6 is a living nightmare to face with ridiculously unbalanced abilities.
But yea, Zankuro is also really difficult!
frozenbinarystudio yup yup, snk bosses are generally harder than any capcom bosses.
You CAN knock him out of his ultimate before it starts but its so futile.
raigami Oh, and many of his attacks are pretty much full screen and unblockable.
+frozenbinarystudio haha, yup. and gaou is not on this list, or rugal, or geese, or zankuro. strange.
PSYCHO MANTIS WAS NOT FUCKING HARD. THIS IS THE 3RD LIST IVE SEEN HIM ON.
He was the most confusing to fight since no one would to expect to have to change to another port.
You even get a radio message for it though? If there wasnt the radio, then it would be extremely difficult yes
If you are going to mention a hard boss from an MMO, you should mention Kerafyrm from the original Everquest. His difficulty lead almost to modern legends. Look it up guys, the stories surrounding it are part of MMO history.
Let me introduce you guys to Sans from Undertale.
Thought the same thing
+Night Stain He's not that hard. Really, undertale is not a rogue like. Everyone keeps treating it like one.
McNotAllThatFreaky Any boss that takes an avarage of 50 tries to kill is hard in my list.
Aha....2 tries.
#Shkreli4Pres2016
+SheriffWalrus Jacksepticeye lost to flowey
I haven't heard of him, but I'll take it he's reasonably popular.
+SheriffWalrus Sans is much harder than Flowey
Mathus Sinn Indeed. Also, I need to correct my comment in shame. The fourth time I fought flowey I died.
+SheriffWalrus I know! All you do is move around for like 30 seconds before you can get each soul. Also dying still progresses the battle and the game saves after every soul you get, it's basically impossible for that fight to be difficult, it just looks intimidating. Sans on the other hand...
lol there is no touhou.. this list is a fraud
There are even harder bosses in other danmaku games... Check out Stella Vanity or Len'En Project ._.
And then there's all of CAVE's games which stump all of the above
Dulahan from Golden Sun: The Lost Age. THAT'S some rage inducing shit right there.
I hate all these undertale people lol that game sucks , the game is about some emo kid falling into the underworld killing skeletons and the most overrated antagonist named sans, the game is over all super easy, the bosses are literally child's play. The story is boring as Hell to, undertale is a basic 8-bit game and nothing more
undertale rules do not say that to my doggy
+RollerToaster ima little kid in real life
Obvious troll is obvious.
you are going to p*** of sometimes undertale fans. i like it.
Oh Drakengard 3’s final boss... oh that boss....
I'm sure you get my feeling!!
actually, the MC's gun attacks are considered physical attacks since their damage formula is based off the MC's str. and if you just use the normal 0mp gun attack it won't proc her counter attack, and dekaja/debilitate are things.
was not ouro more difficult for guilds than c thun when properly balanced? just something ive heard. also 4 horsemen old naxxramas worth a mention
Iios: Can you do a revisit to the top 15 hardest? That'd be awesome!
This is the danger Dolan I miss
Good to see some SMT games here.
Reminds me of how Silent Hill 1 expected you to know how to use a piano for one of it's puzzles.
