Funny enough I picked up two of these specifically to fix my bad typing habits. Purple, acrylic wrest, and Osume Night market caps for home. Gray, wood wrest, 0 degree silents, and a clean WoB keycap set for the office. Very excited to get mine.
i think they should do more re-runs of successful boards.. these boards like this Ergo and the Neo80 should become staples in this hobby.. i opted not to get the Neo80 because i wanted to grab the Geon F1-8X V2 .. in two colors as my main high end TKL boards..
I think all the past neo’s are still in stock options including the 80, 70/frl tkl, and 65. I honestly think they will become absolute main stays of the hobby
To me the two lines that you’re talking about near the end of the video look more like an intentional radius, but that is just my opinion as a machinist haha. I see that done a lot in my line of work.
Any chance you can comment on the color compatibility of the grey ergo with gmk 8008 bl00? I really like the look of the grey, but might choose silver since it’s easier to match. Great vid as usual!
I type "you" with my right hand, but words like "naturally" (words that end in L-Y) i use my left. "Any" i use my right hand. I'm gonna grab the board i think. Really want a wireless alice for work.
Interesting choice to pair a clacky switch with the typically deeper PP plate. I do appreciate the extra detail about the typing feel of the board. I'm guessing that it really doesn't have a harsh bottom out regardless of case foam.
Is PP actually deeper? Read in a reddit reply that between PC, POM, and PP that PP is the softest but has a clacky sound profile vs the other 2? Trying to find out for sure to know which plate to get between the 3.
Typing Y with left index finger is a known issue, so Neo Ergo could make a version with an extra Y for left. Also pretty crazy that all keyboard companies let users have the choice for case material, color scheme, finishing, key switches, gaskets, mounting options, you name it. But never enough choice for key cap inscriptions. I would like such a keyboard with only 1u keys so it's easy to switch key caps around. Especially 1u key caps for Space, Enter, Backspace, Shift. Plus 1u key caps for modifier keys. And a few keycaps with the inscriptions M1, M2, M3, M4 as well as F1, F2, F3, F4 And separate as well as the standard combi inscriptions for ? advantage for text processing work / 9 ( advantage for Excel 0 ) advantage for Excel + advantage for Excel = advantage for Excel : advantage for text processing work ; The learning curve would decrease with the right inscriptions. Plus 80% of keyboard users don't know how to touch type, so they would be more interested in keyboards with the right key cap inscriptions. The 80% would still have tight shoulder muscles and knots between their shoulder blades. But wrist and finger pain would be prevented at least. We always need more thumb keys. So split the space bar in a few 1u keys and arrange them in an arch corresponding to the movement of the average thumb tip. The nav keys could also be in the middle. Then you got a mouse the the right, nav keys in the middle and num keys on the left. That of course if you have a separate numpad. Most companies don't think about that. We can see that the Keychron Q0 num / macro pad is always sold out, because that seems to be a hot item. If all keys on the left and right of the standard alpha keys would move to the middle combined with 1u keys only, the same footprint would be combined with a larger split. And that is good for the wrists. And don't put a rotary knob if the keyboard is not a media or gaming keyboard.
The up arrow to the left of the right shift is rough… I’d rather have no arrow keys than that. It looks like it has an option to go with split right shift instead of arrow keys?
A great looking board, ticks a lot of boxes of what I'm looking for in my next keyboard. Plenty of options are great as well, I just don't like waiting 6 months or so after ordering a board for it to ship, although other people have waited far longer for other boards.

It's funny, I'm not typically an RGB guy, but I'm a fan of the RGB accents in the Alice gaps
Been waiting for this vid! Nice work :)
A very good and detailed review as always. Good work!
From everything I've heard of this board, it definitely punches above its weight.

Great vid! Excited to try an Alice layout
great vid, im glad you were quick to point out shortcomings even if u had to be looking for them.

Ordered one🎉was looking into a split or alice keyboard and this one popped up. Tented Alice with Catchball mounting? No brainer, insta-buy.
How did you order one? I don't see it being on sale on qwerty keys website
How are the neo stabs? I haven't really seen much about them so I'm kinda curious.
5:58 i think alice layouts should have 2 Ys as well, like the B.
Thats a great review ! Thanks :)
body is balck??? or grey?

Got the 🥑!!
Holy cow, great review. Thank you for pointing out the Y key thing. I definitely hit the Y key with my left hand so I'm in the same boat....

do your fingers accidentally hit those light diffusers when you're typing?
Hello nearLucid! What are your current favorite switches?
Cheers from Brazil!
Might have to give Ergo boarda a shot

Where do you order this??
GB on qwertykeys starting next week 22 May.

Nice review. May I ask how sound profile compare against luminkey80/neo80? Specifically how does the clack of the Ergo fare?
My right hand is absolutely useless beside my index finger, but this board is definitely a beauty
Can you do crush80 from wob ?
Crush80's gb is running so i really need a review from you ❤

Yh group buys and waiting forever for something to ship is a pain in the ass.
Qwertykeys has a great fulfillment track record. This board supposedly has a 4 week fulfillment time
@@DemVidzIsMine if you're in EU it will be 6 months
I really do think the board looks good, but it's definitely not what you want if you actually want an ergo board.
Any ergo boards you recommend?
