this is by far neo's best board imo. as an avid alice user, this is a great option. the ball catch make it so easy to assemble and disassemble and i actually do really like the led diffusers in the alice gaps. it was a bit strange to me at first but i think that's because i'm used to nothing being there. the tent isn't as drastic as the type k and i would actually recommend using a wrist rest (even though i think it's fine without one). if you've used alice but not a tented alice, the transition into using the neo ergo should be easier. huge fan of the board

I haven't seen another board that has an Alice layout like the Feker Alice 80/98. That was my first Alice board, and I really liked how the alphas are on a gentle curve rather than straight. Solves the issue of having those gaps there.
But I'm definitely ordering one of these, exactly what I've been waiting for. I'm not sure about the arrow keys either
yeah the arrows aren't for me, but it's good that the option is there at least
no arrows that's my streamer
I quite like the diffused LEDs between the gaps! I have both this type and Type K on order. Just out of curiosity, which one do you prefer to use?

it depends, i find myself reaching for type k a bit more but neo ergo has been a close choice since it's a lot lighter and i don't need a wrist rest
I am very tempting to order this keyboard. My question is, if the Owlab Spring is available at the same time with same price which one you would order? Areas to consider: Ergonomics > Build quality > Sound. Thanks in advance.
unfortunately i've only typed on springs at meetups so i can't go too much in depth, but i would do the neo ergo 100% if you're looking for ergonomics. the tent on the neo makes it more ergo than a flat alice. can't say much in terms of build quality and sound as i haven't built a spring myself, sorry about that!

Is acrylic wrist rest a good choice? Or is wood better?
i like wood slightly better. only because if your wrist rest ever gets scratched for whatever reason, it looks more natural on wood than it does on acrylic
I just wonder if Acrylic would ever yellow.
How would you compare this the Type K in the video?
type k has a bigger tent and is definitely more noticeable, i wouldn't use it without a wrist rest. neo ergo will be a lot easier to transition into if you've never used a tented board
the led indicators on the type k are also separate and independent of each other, while the neo ergo's work together with the led diffusers. i'm not sure if they plan on separating the side and middile indicators for the neo ergo but it's just much more clear on the type k. you can also change what the indictors show on the type k (ie caps lock, layer 1, layer 2, etc)
more plate options for neo ergo but you can change the grommets on the type k while you cannot change the gaskets for the neo ergo
type k has ec compatibiliy, neo ergo does not. also neo ergo is way more affordable than type k
neo ergo will use a more standard keycap set while type k has 3u spacebar compatibility but that isn't always easily accessible. also neo ergo can be wireless, type k cannot
