@@chewcab8008 I agree somewhat but I don't buy excuses. Chemical embalance in the brain is a physiological issue, however it can be overcome. Not with meds either. Will power is something one has matured over time since birth, being born with it. Or not. Certain people have the chemical and physical makeup to be in the Teams, or other SOF units, and sheer will power to move forward in that degree of selflessness and torturing of a career. Yes it's almost torture being in the Team's. I spent a long time with the Teams. Everyday was painful. Physically. The reward wasn't visible, the benefits weren't euphoric, and the mental challenges were beyond the scope of most people's machinations. At the end of the day, it was a job and nothing more. A career. A responsibility. Not something where I expected handouts or a pat on the ass and a atta boy sticker for a hardhat. Many think they can embrace the suck factor and motivation to survive Hell Week, and almost 80% get slapped with reality or a medical drop when they depart the Strand. It's mental fortitude. I've seen mentally handicapped persons with more will power and survival instincts with less selfishness than most of the guys who were on that beach for the first few days. Those guys are the ones who didn't make it. That's my take.
One more thing, when guys make it to day 5, with broken ribs and leg fractures, and still refuse to quit, that's the bottom line, that's all that matters. They may not be the fastest, best swimmers, or runners and mathematicians, but that's not what's first looked at, will to not give up is what's graded first before anything else.

The Navy seals are a great inspiration. The amount of resilience they have to go through all of the rigorous hard work they do and all the challenges they have to overcome regularly. They deserve so much respect and more. Massive respect to the Navy Seals for having the commitment, resilience, perseverance, determination, discipline, and dedication to serve. Thank you for your service🙏
6 years in the Army in the 1990’s, the past 23 years as a firefighter. His advice is spot on. There are days I can’t believe what we are going through, but everything comes to an end.
You did your best and it's okay we know everything comes to an end but it is not always the end you know we can start in anything we are good at and for us people to be more productive in things.
“If I cant effect it, I don’t even worry about it.” This is something I’m trying to teach myself now that I’ve discovered I have anxiety issues. That quote hits the nail on the head; we have to focus on what we can control and give our all to that and only that. Worry, fear, and anxiety can destroy us if we don’t learn to “break things down to small bites” and stay positive. These SEAL talks are such a help to me in learning to manage anxiety and try to be a good man, husband, and father.
Right. But knowing the difference between what you can effect and can't is where the anxiety comes from. You learn what you can and can't effect through experience though.
Keep pushing and improving man, remember you can train your head as you train your body, it will take time but that mindset eventually will become natural to you. I recomend you yo meditated 15 min everyday. Good luck
Navy seals are seen as bastions and beacons of resilience, nothing less. They deserve so much respect for putting themselves in the line of fire and more, taking risks upon themselves and persevering through challenges that others would call unfeasible. These people are nothing but the best of the best, and deserve so much praise. In combat, and in service, every second is a ticking clock, and these men on the line watch it and hold steadfast even if they know that in the next second, or next minute, or next hour, they may not come out of it alive.
The Navy seals are a great inspiration. The amount of resilience they have to go through all of the rigorous hard work they do and all the challenges they have to overcome regularly. Seeing the Navy Seals face tough times with such strength really shows what people can do when they try. Their never-give-up attitude is more than just impressive, it’s amazing. Thanks for your service and for showing us what real bravery looks like.
The Navy Seals in this video show real strength and courage. They don’t give up, no matter how tough things get. This shows how well they’re trained and committed. They are true heroes!
The wall with the photos and the title "we will never let you die twice" is really touching. For those who don't know, in theory, every person dies twice. When their body stops working/their soul leaves the body, and when their name is said for the last time.
"The ones hanging back, worrying about their own needs, are not typically the ones who make it to the end." Reminds me of the words of a pastor (Rev. Richard Wurmbrand) who survived torture from Communist Russia. He said that those who looked out for the needs of others in the prisons were the ones who made it out alive. The ones who were hoarding food, rations, etc., were the ones who ended up perishing.
The Importance of breaking down challenges into manageable parts, focusing on one step at a time to overcome overwhelming situations is such a great way to overcome problems.
Sometimes I feel so sick from my disease, but I find the need to keep training and showing up for myself. I can’t quit just because my body wants to quit. Never stop.
1. I absolutely respect the resilience of the Navy Seals since they're correct being comfortable in uncomfortable situations will make your body think that it's a normal situation! 2. The quote "The More Pressure The Smaller Bites" will now be ingrained to my brain since you cannot really do anything in those types of situations so instead just slowly climb the mountain of pressure you are in.
This video truly does show on how determined the Navy Seals are. Their never ending courage openly proves their bravery and resilience. Thank you for your service and your dedication to our country.
1. Kudos to the Navy Seals for their extraordinary resilience, their ability to stay strong despite going through a huge wave of tough training has given me so much admiration and respect for them 2. I admire the resilience of the Navy Seals. After learning about the extreme training they endured, as the speaker said. It inspires me to keep fighting and never give up on any obstacles I will encounter in my life.
1.The Nazy seals are great inspiration. Their hard work and resilience is everything. They deserve so much respect 2. Seeing how much work and effort they put really shows what people can really do when they try.
“You gotta get comfortable being uncomfortable” I think that that is the most important thing in life. You have to do uncomfortable things that others won’t do to get the things that others wish to have.
I admire their mindset: "If they can do it, I can do it." With this kind of mindset, it can help us see what we are truly capable of and achieve many things in life that we used to think that we couldn't. Very inspiring
Watching this video made me admire the Navy Seals for their passion and perseverance to go through difficult situations. It's easy to give up when things get difficult, but what interests me is that giving up is something that they never thought of and that they didn't let any negative emotions or thoughts get the best of them.
I appreciate all the Navy SEALs who sacrifice a lot just to get through their journey. I'm proud of their efforts, knowing that they benefit not only themselves but also many people in the future.
I'm not a seal, but these principles have taught me a lot as man and a father. I've learned to "embrace the suck" and move on whilst giving it 110%, because it pays to be a winner... and I know my son is watching me, and I want him to be a winner as well.
I admire the resilience of the NAVY SEALs, their ability to face critical challenges head-on and keep pushing forward is incredibly inspiring. it really shows that with determination and grit, we can overcome anything in our lives❕
I was touched by this SEAL motto because I can relate: "The only easy day was yesterday." Yesterday is in the past so for us this is an easy day because we know in ourselves that tomorrow we will face another challenge.
After watching this video, I never realized how much the Navy Seals had to go through just for their training- yet they still persevere through it just for the sake of their country. Their determination is so inspiring and reminded me to never give up or back down in any challenges or problems we might face in life. Salute to the Navy Seals!!
Several years ago I was overweight and just graduated highschool, had toxic friends and was confused and aimless. Now im an Infantryman in the Army, cut those people out and got real friends and I box. Just do what you wanna do and cut through it like a sharp blade. Make your suffering useful to you, dont sit around and settle for bullshit, have some self respect and self love even if you have no clear reason to. The best type of confidence is when you have no reason to be.
I was hit by a truck and bed ridden for months, one day I got up and walked around for the first time which eventually turned into a run and months later I was training for my first ever triathlon. No matter what happens in life you can do it, getting hit by a truck and being at my lowest made me into the best person I am today. If I can do it you can too.
Watching and hearing these stories amazes me and truly inspires me. It shows their dedication and resilience in everyday life. I’m impressed that they show bravery and effort in doing hard work and not giving up easily!
The Navy seal go through a lot of hardship in order for them to get where they are now and they deserve a huge respect and recognition for everything they been through Massive respect for their work and their dedication to achieve their goal through resilience, perseverance and commitment and dedication to serve our country. Thank you for your service.
Respect to the Navy Seals! Your resilience and dedication are truly inspiring. You embody the spirit of never giving up. These men and women are the epitome of strength and courage. Thank you for your service and for showing us what it means to be truly resilient."
1. After watching the video made me realize how so much hardships were experienced during the 6 months training for the Navy Seals which results in the immense respect I felt for all of them. 2. And as for their resilience, I believe that in not giving up and taking one bite at a time for each challenges in your life, will lead you to your success. We salute the Navy Seals!
1) Prioritize and break every stressful task into the smallest bite you can take. More the pressure, the smaller the bite. 2) Be 100% in all the time at whatever you do.
Everyone watching this, know that you are a rare breed. Most people are not living their fullest and they are not looking to make the world better. You on the other hand are making a good example with your actions. Know that you are here to make sure our children do not forget what having an ultimate spirit is like.
The father of a friend once told me "There is only one way to eat an elephant, and it's not in one bite. Anything slightly bigger than your mouth and no matter how hard you try you can't eat it straight away. Divide everything in small chunks and keep chewing, bite after bite. If you do it like this, as long as you don't stop biting, there is no elephant too big to be eaten". That has stayed with me since then, having a father figure really makes a difference.
This kind of grit is thaught and it can be achieved by anyone. If you are this type of man, share what you know with others and be amazed by how normal people can toughen up and embrace challenges. All the best to you!
Training right now to become an Air force PJ. Leaving sometime before October to San Antonio Texas. Thank you for the words of wisdom/motivation. Stay strong brothers!
Best of luck man! I'm training for Army Rangers at the moment, planning on leaving to Fort Benning in early September. Might be from a Seal, but the saying "the only easy day was yesterday" is one I like to get that little bit more motivation every day. PJs are badass! Happy to see another one is in the making.
• Hats off to the Navy Seals! They're super tough and never give up. Learning about their intense training journey has truly inspired me to face challenges head-on and never back down. • Massive respect for the Navy Seals and their incredible resilience. Their strong attitude is so motivating. The dedication and strength they exhibit during their tough training is really inspiring.
I am going through a painful break up and this just reminded me about all the people going through real pain right now. Time to hit the gym and let this garbage go. Thank you for the motivation.
Thank you very much I’m on camp and I was thinking of quitting I’m here for another month so thank you very much for giving me motivation again I know I can do this thank you all 🙏❤️
I appreciate all the hard work, training, and resilience of the navy seals. The determination that you have is inspiring, and I hope you conquer all the challenges you are and will face in your journey.
The resilience of the Navy Seals is truly astounding- as I aspire to have that save determination they have in pursuing their goals even with all the challenges and obstacles they face every day. Their experience teached me a good lesson- and once again, massive respect to the Navy Seals AND NEVER GIVE UP!!
This video is incredibly impactful and emotional. His voice truly conveys the depth of his experiences and the resilience he possesses to overcome them. It's evident that he has faced significant challenges, yet his determination to surpass them is unmistakable.
Great advice. This is how you must get through each day no matter how grueling and difficult it may be. Push towards the next step then the next then the next and so on until you reach the end of the day and expect to do it all over again. Don’t give up. Don’t quit
I can only imagine SF training, just happened on this video, first 5 mins made me feel better already. My career ended injured 3yrs ago 10 Nov 2019. Tried my hardest to stay with it. Still can't believe or remember the 3 days after they pulled me out of the field 14 Nov.
This is something that you should be proud of. The trainings, the hardships and thing that made you stronger. Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
The determination, strength, and resilience are truly inspiring. I appreciate all that they do. The video not only inspired other Navy members but also students like us.
I had the honor and privilege of working in an ER with a PA who was a seal at one point in his life and he always had one quote/saying that has stuck with me ever since I first heard him say it; "Small moves. No more or less" Made me think and I eventually understood what he meant and after 12 years, I still practice that everyday
1 I am honestly amazed at the sheer will power these people need to have for this. 2 I hope to someday have the same level of resilience these people have.
This video is very inspiring. Salute to all the navy and even all the people who works in this similar kind of service, I can't imagine all the hard work and self discipline this kind of work takes.

America is always open you, my friend. Be it visiting or moving.
May be seeing us around if Russia keeps acting up
It’s called “bobbing.” Learned that in 67 in RANGER school. Then I took those skills to RVN. Best job I ever had !
Watching and hearing these stories amazes me and truly inspires me. It shows their dedication and resilience in everyday life. I’m impressed that they show bravery and effort in doing hard work and not giving up easily!

Having a strong mindset is what overcoming is all about.
You don't have to be a special operator to cultivate that and have it.
The Navy seal go through a lot of hardship in order for them to get where they are now and they deserve a huge respect and recognition for everything they been through
Massive respect for their work and their dedication to achieve their goal through resilience, perseverance and commitment and dedication to serve our country. Thank you for your service.

One day, one bite at a time, helps one to stay in the present moment. Thank you, love the video it resonates with me.
Indeed ma'am

I can watch 1000 Motivational Video's, but it'll never change how I feel or live my life.
I wish millenials had this kind of grit. You fellas are a very special breed. God bless

Great Whites especially love them.
I appreciate all the hard work, training, and resilience of the navy seals. The determination that you have is inspiring, and I hope you conquer all the challenges you are and will face in your journey.
Haven't been to war but for someone with ptsd and aspiring spartan. This helps.
It is something….
That, “they” allow those who have done “it”…
Are allowed to speak of what they have accomplished.
y'all a Honorable Navy seal,
Salute to all of you
The resilience of the Navy Seals is truly astounding- as I aspire to have that save determination they have in pursuing their goals even with all the challenges and obstacles they face every day.
Wooowww.... breaking it down and the laughing made it all a reality. Thanks for this perspective and God bless y all for your service.
That is a soldier. God bless them all.
This is something that you should be proud of. The trainings, the hardships and thing that made you stronger. Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
So true, one step at a time! That’s the way to get through hard times for sure.
I sleep better at night here in alaska knowing there men like this out there thank you jesus!!

I had the honor and privilege of working in an ER with a PA who was a seal at one point in his life and he always had one quote/saying that has stuck with me ever since I first heard him say it; "Small moves. No more or less" Made me think and I eventually understood what he meant and after 12 years, I still practice that everyday
NO BOUNDARIES. The MIND is THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL 🪖👊💯 🔥 THANKFUL FOR MY FREEDOM 🔥!!!!

Just a student here but i am amazed how these people have this kind of mindset.
I hope more people including me will be influenced by this kind of mindset:)
1 I am honestly amazed at the sheer will power these people need to have for this.
2 I hope to someday have the same level of resilience these people have.
