Not giving up only works if you have something to strive for. Some people are so burned out that they have no purpose anymore, no goals and no dreams. For them "don't give up" is a useless advice, no matter how beautifully you phrase it.

wow. i really needed this. it’s final week and i’m a nursing major who needs to pass because i’m in a program where if i fail a class, i’m kicked out. i was crying and overwhelmed and saw this and it is helping me to keep going during this really stressful time.
