i love the phrase “this will take some effort” as it’s the understatement of the century. i had to rent out the goddamn Incredible Hulk to get these nuts off the blades. get your seated row workouts in heavily before attempting

I used an impact wrench to loosen nuts. Piece of cake.

the deck on my mower which is a welded deck you have to have two breaker bars one on each side one to hold the bolt and turn the other Bolt on the top of the deck. And you have to stand the deck up on side order to do this

really would be nice if cub cadet made a video showing how to level the blades on zero turn mower. Their website is not very helpful. I learn more from visual instructional videos

You can level your blades by taking each one and putting them on a nail after sharpening them, and seeing which end is lower than the other. If they are level, then you have them balanced and no further balancing is needed, but if one end is lower than the other, you have to sharpen that end of the blade until it is level throughout it's length.

    What a useless statement.
"A socket that fits the blade nut" . . Really?!
What size socket do I need to fit the blade nut???

It shows a 15mm socket in the video.

I have a 15/16 and a 1 in socket and neither are even close to fitting.

Yea blades don't come off this easy, it's nothing like the video. Broken a socket already, and blade removal tool not strong enough to hold the amount of pressure I am using. How about showing a real video, where the lawn mower has been used a few years. Then you can explain all the real info like how to cut the bolt off without damaging threads.

Impact wrench makes them come off in a second or so. You really shouldn't ever have to cut a nut or bolt off this thing. Put a little antiseize on the spindle bolt during assembly. Clean the threads when you take the blade off

Insanely difficult. Are you people out of your minds? The engineers that designed this should be fired. It’s a lawnmower, not the dad-gum space shuttle.
