If rein could pick up multiple people with his charge he would be so amazing. I have been a rein main for 7 years and I have been waiting for that for ever.
Reminder that Rein can’t one shot 250 health and above characters when he has to throw himself at them then hit a wall; meanwhile Roadhog can do this from the other end of the earth without being at basically any risk at all.
i have been a rein main for a while and the most satisfying moment is probably going 1v1 against another rein and using the ult when the other's shield is off so i can stun somebody and when he uses it keep the shield up to block it and letting him know whose the alpha
One of my favorite things in Overwatch is having a nice Rein duel, even if I get hard diffed. No cheap tricks between the two Reins, just who's better at managing cooldowns and blocking shatters. Haven't encountered much lately :(
Rein is a tank stuck in ow1 but put in ow2 just like mcree, and i love him for it. The feeling you get from getting potg despite how bad he has it (especially if there is an Orisa on the other team) is comparable to beating an Elden Ring boss after only dying a couple of times.

Reinhardt is pretty simple mechanically but has always been one of the best characters to learn to work on your game knowledge. If you push up too far as Rein you will regret it. If you're too far away from the enemies you're literally useless. Perfect character to learn positioning and timing in the game.

This is what I've been thinking a lot. Something that gives him a little more resistance so he can open the fight without to much trouble. Tons of tanks have two defenses, so why not give a second defense to Reinhardt
I have 2 ideas of how to buff rein 1: give him 50 more armor, very simple Or 2: give him a damage resistance while his shield is up, meaning things that would hit through it or those that attack from behind would be less effective. Perhaps 25% resistance?
Couldn’t agree more with the buffs, I’ve been playing him since OW1 and he’s certainly weaker. There’s honestly not much they can do though except maybe increase barrier health.

In order to fix the fact that he's countered so much, I am proposing a passive that converts stuns into slows when used on him. He'll still be hindered by stun abilities, but not as much as he currently is. Slapping a 20 or 30% damage resistance on his charge would also be nice, considering how it'd let him engage in a fight without a Lucio speedboosting him, but the passive is a little more nessicary right now.

9:29 if your meta slave, unless you playing another character because you prefer them for fun or just feel a need to change, a Rein main doesn't switch because meta, rein only switches if he finds another playstyle to be fun.
With 200 hours on rein, he just gets ping ponged around by other tanks which sucks as he's so much fun, whenever I see a rein tank I honour the match up and also play as rein, nothing is more fun than a rein on rein action in the tank world

Reinhardt is pretty simple mechanically but has always been one of the best characters to learn to work on your game knowledge. If you push up too far as Rein you will regret it. It should last for a few seconds and would encourage people to use the shield more
