You don't have to super glide to do an animation cancel, if you release the tactical button after sliding down from the edge for example a box or rooftop, it works fine
Here is another tip for Revenant: Normally, if you try to pop his tactical into roofed areas or inside of buildings, you might bonk your head on the ceiling. However, you can actually pop your tactical on the ground and then look forward, you will get a lower jump, and you will be able to move faster. It is very easy to execute, and I recommend using this trick to your advantage in future games.

One correction - Revenant's passive tags enemies for his teammates when he makes them low (I think around 40hp or under), not when he cracks their armor.
I'll add, he also pairs well with Vantage. Vantage has the issue of opening a fight with her ult, and getting the damage boost, but then either has to use her tactical to confirm the kill or keep it to escape. Revenant can capitalize on the mark quickly and use it to start with an early advantage. Revenant, Newcastle, and Vantage make a strong ranked comp.
I overall loved the new Revenant (as much as i also loved silecing Wraiths and Pathfinders and watch them struggle as they cannot use their escape abilities), but one complaint i have is that i feel like Revenant should be able to pull out a weapon after some seconds in the pounce My argument is that if Path can pull put his weapon after using his grapple while still in the air, Rev should do the same
My main issue (which I’m surprised no one else has really been talking about) is when in out shield you DO NOT GET DAMAGE MARKERS (the arrow that points to where you’re being shot from) it’s small but it’s caused me to die once or twice because I’m looking for the last guy and don’t realize I’m the one being shot at and damaged until my rev shield is gone. It’s small and more of a pet peeve cause otherwise I LOVE th ends rev as an OG rev main, but it’s worth mentioning.
Little correction revenant does not scan through walls on enemies that have their armor cracked except when he cracks them, for that its only a highlight so you know who to target first
I'll miss the disable, the silence was a hard counter to scan legends, or Catalyst so they can't get their combos off. Now there's no one who can really counter abilities
2:57 one thing I would like to add is that disruptor rounds are on the alternator and hammerpoint rounds are on the RE-45 so, there is potential for a combo
As an old rev main I used to like his kit but his new one is very fun and nice to play with. I do hate how he is free and how he has a 250% higher pick rate though.
Going along with your revcastle idea, I think Vantage would actually pair well with them. Vantage can scan the team to see how hard of a push it would be. As Rev pops his ult and pushes in, vantage can start tagging enemies with her sniper. At any point (ideally after a knock) Newcastle can ult onto rev, then vantage can also push up using her tactical to keep the whole team together (also use the castle walls as a sniper perch like you mentioned in vantage for noobs) All in all, the team would be able to keep up with one another, have a strong ability to open up AND push fights with, and then you have survivability with Newcastle
i love that revenant got a rework but maaaan there are caracters that not especially need a rework but they need buffs like crypto or newcastle because they are the least played legends. Like change cryptos emp to a hack (only when he is in his drone so he in fact MANUALLY HACKS THE ENEMIES) that only hacks the enemy team and not affects his team and him because he is the greatest hacker in the outlands so let him hack! Or give newcastle the ult buff, that it heals teammates directly behind his shiel like a lifeline drone (not thaaat fast but you understand the point) because he is a support legend and his kit is basically designed to keep his team alive and healthy (they could even add these tubings like lifelines drone has to the inner side of his walls and when the walls break the tubings break too and no it would not be op because the whole team has to stay stationary to keep the heel going)

Agree on everything EXCEPT that revenants a selfish legend. On the contrary, he's a team player. When using his ult you don't have to get a kill to refill your protection, you just need to get an assist then boom 75 plus health. You can soak up allll that damage thus protecting your teammates and those teammates can refill your protection. Theoretically, you can have INFINITE health if you and your teammates can get knocks. you soak up damage, hit 1 r99 bullet, let you teammates kill them, you get 75 hp, rince and repeat till all of them are dead.
What's funny to me is that Mokisniper suggested a legend with a dash abilitie to an old dev when you all came up with concepts for that one video about a year ago and now there actually putting it in the game. The best part is that the dev said it would be unbalanced
I'm VERY glad they didn't replace his passive with a wall run and kept his climb. As a titanfall veteran i love wall running but it should either be on octane, pathfinder or a new legend. Not revenant because i actually at one time for a solid week somehow mastered revenant and had multiple wins because i used his climb ability very well. The best part of his climbing was having enemies who thought they had an advantage with high spots, sneaking up on them and surprise flanking them like most do with octanes jumpad but stealthier. I do miss his ability shutdown thing tho
can we see a rework for vantage. i feel like she just doesnt do anything. her mobility is nice but if you have even a slightly high amount of ping it is useless. and (like some other legends) she simply lacks a passive, what i mean is that it does nothing. a skilled sniper with a sniper scope can determine where a shot will land. if she is a recon legend then so is a lot of other legends, what i mean by this is that her only recon ability is pinging people and gaining info by pinging. i think what would be cool is to maybe exchange her ult for 3 or 4 little beacons she can place in the formation of a square or a triangle and it would highlight everyone in that area. and for her passive she could be able to either craft sniper parts (due to the low loot pool for snipers) or she could find sniper parts (kinda like loba can see legendary loot) this would make her more of a recon character in my opinion.
it's really funny how his ultimate says "Forged Shadows" on top. They definitely going to make either A: Forge a legend that is a meme and is always dying or B: make him a legend.
You dont have to super glide to get the animation cancel you can just do it by sliding off a ledge and can ho any distance you want. Also his ult is bugged and it will protect you from being slowed by teammate explosives and you can stick arc stars to his ult shields
