- Hanzo Shimada is one of my favorite damage heroes in Overwatch 2. He controls Dragons and he's a beast with the bow, so let's learn how to play him in this episode of "For Noobs!"

Fun fact about Sonic Arrow, if you hit an enemy and don’t kill them, the arrow will not make the pinging sound meaning your enemies will not know they’re being scanned.
The arrow also sticks to them being carried around with them until it despawns

Another tips that you should know:
Hanzo ultimate can be destroyed by dva, orisa,sigma and deflected by genji in a short range. So don't use the ulti too close to these enemies
The dragon has been consume - sigma
Seriously though why does that man have some of the coolest lines in the game
also you can kill people with the arrow before it turns into a dragon at close range
this happened to me through a wall once because of Dva…
Also, the arrow does damage, so headshot someone with it to bm them
I've encountered this once when I somehow deflected a hanzo ult and killed the entire other team.
There are 3 types of Hanzo players
1. Actual Good Hanzos Who Know How to Play & Aim With His Bow Correctly
2. Spam Arrows
3. The Lucksman

Lore wise Hanzo Shimada & Genji Shimada are my favorite characters & both are powerful! Hanzo from Overwatch & Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang) from Mortal Kombat are similar cuz both had to leave their clans at one point in time!

been playing this game for years now and never knew that storm arrow could bounce off of walls. This opens up a whole new world for me.

@@Idle_death_gambleYes they absolutely do. It’s not the same as Scatter Arrow though: It’s quite harder to land, and Storm Arrows also do less damage than normal arrows, so you’re less likely to get kills reliably

i have 36 hours on hanzo and this still helped me thanks and keep it up!
small correction about the dragons: they only do 150 dps on the outer part of the dragons, if youre on the inner part of the dragons they do (to my memory) 300 dps
More accurately they do 300 a sec if they are hitting a character feet/leg part of their hitbox.

as a hanzo main here is one major tip: hanzo isnt like any other dps hero, he shouldnt be going in on flanks because of how long it takes to charge his bow. hanzo should be at height or at an off angle and where you do not go for flicks. wait for your enemy to walk into your crosshair.

Mentioning about playing hitscan with Hanzo goes for a lot of characters! Characters like Genji, Junkrat, and Reaper all benefit from a nice hitscan like Soldier: 76 or Ashe. Support your fellow DPS players!

Cool thing to know, if a hanzo has the golden bow and shoots somebody, specific enemy characters can get a gold weapon for the round, it works for Junkrat as an example
