Nah, boss. Direct hit damage has always been 120. 40 for impact plus the 80 splash.
@@SpeedShadow54 I thought 2 direct hits kill Reaper, which means it has to be at least 125 and I remember that in a patch Junkrat got buffed to 130 after the patch they wanted to try give Frag Launcher damage ramp up and fall off.
It was direct hit to mine that insta-killed reaper. 120 from direct and 130 from mine, but I think they nerfed it to 120 or 110.

That Buff was years ago, and got reverted also years ago, It does 120

So happy that junk finally got a for noobs vid!! As someone loosely who mains him, he’s super easy to pick up and play around with, and I definitely think everyone should try him! He can be a little tricky to get really good with, but when you do actually start to understand more about his play style he can be an absolute menace. if you’ve ever played against a really good Junkrat you definitely understand what I mean lol
I love Junkrat. I mained him and Bastion during OW1, but after the Bastion rework, it was just Junkrat. Great to see him get some love!

The tire’s also an incredibly powerful zoning tool bc it tells the enemy team to disperse like a school of fish
let's be real, the fact that junkrat hasnt been touched at all (or at least practically) in terms of reworks or kit changements signifies that he's pretty balanced and is good do be played. imo getting used to his mechanics is hard but playing him in general is really smooth, a good start for new players
But he is pretty hard to master
when i started playing overwatch, junkrat was my go to (u can probs tell by my pfp) but it took me more then a year to get to masters where i am now, i basically got stuck at plat then had to start making plays like Vulture (best junkrat player imo)
@@frank8917 that's what i'm trying to say, his kit is easy to take in hands and play, but mastering and playing him decently is really hard

Junk is like one of the Characters with the Highest skillceilings in the game and its always satisfying to see Junk players kill enemys mid air. Such a fun and rewarding character.

lol it is a moronic easy cheese hero. The highest skill ceiling Junkrat has is easier than Tank 101 or playing Ana anytime. For every midair hit junkrat spams +300 grenades in a choke with no skill and way more value

Not exactly. The Overwatch universe is full of crime and evil everywhere and a huge piece of Australia is post apocalyptic, not all of Australia.

always try to have at least one mine.
I like to play higher up when i can.
flank and take off angles when SAFE (try to kill one person max and if you mess up just retreat.
DONT DO ANYTHING TO DIE, YOUR MORE HELPFUL WHEN ALIVE. (try to stay back when need to)

The secret to get value with rip-tire the most of the times is by giving the enemies the less time possible to react to it. An example that I always use, I use the triple mine tech to get really high, junk doesn't make much noise in the air for some reason so most of the time enemies won't expect, you drop in the middle of the enemy team, for example in the payload or in the capture points, they will only hear: "Fire in the hole!" And explode.
Or you can also hide on some random spots of the map an wait for the enemy team to engage, same thing.

Junkrat is so fun to play and has such a high skill ceiling which is also fun to learn, as a junkrat main, being able to take pharahs and echos out of the sky is always rewarding
nah we all know that for every midair luckshot you spammed +300 grenades on a choke without a hint of aim or thought involved. By far the easiest hero and any skill ceiling he has is easier than an average Ana game or Hammond

Sometimes junkrat can activate the wonder of u's calamity but the calamity sometimes goes into the junkrat and then suddenly you are always in the wrong position
Alternate advice one trick your favorite character and get good at dealing with counters

another tip from a Junkrat main, if you use ult and they desperse quickly, hard target the Mercy if there is one or they'll undo your damage quickly and leave you to cry in a corner
He had a single mine for a while, then he was given the 2nd mine to increase mobility/evasion.
