Just got a pair of these Perlas today. They're every bit as nice as CP Achilles, which I also own. They actually feel sturdier, but still sleek. Outstanding quality. I disagree on the sizing. I wear a definite US 10 and 43 fits perfectly. A 42 would definitely be too tight.
how are they for walking around in the city? like walking 35 minutes to work--they're ok on the ankles? Also curious if the greys scuff or stain easily.
I almost bought Koio perla size 8 but the price point still too steep for sneakers. I wanted to do my own review. I got New balance by Jcrew for one fourth the price and love it. Down the road I may buy one. Two of my friends hare trying Koio so far mixed reviews.

Common Projects started this segment but since then a lot of other manufacturers have jumped in the category and are even better than the originals. Check out Good Man Brand, Crown Northampton, and obviously Koio all are actually cheaper and in my opinion better quality than CP’s. Of course YMMV.

How does the quality compare to that of common projects and gustin?
To someone like myself who isn't an expert on this sector, to the touch they feel similar. Never owned Gustin before.

Since these are obviously a Common Projects alternative, how would you say they compare in quality to CP/Have you ever owned a pair of Achilles Low?
At a high level they're comparable just from touch and feel. Never owned a pair of CP so I can't speak to comfort or durability.
I don't own these particular Koios, but I have the Koio Primo high tops as well as a pair of CP achilles. The build quality on both is top notch, and they use the exact same margom rubber outsole. The construction process seems to be very similar on the two shoes. The Koios have excellent material quality as well. The leather lining the inside feels identical to the cps. The leather on the upper feels slightly softer on the Koios, while the achilles seems to be slightly more structured and required some break in time. They're both top of the line, just a little bit different from each other.
How similar is the Perla cw to the light grey yeezy calabassas?

No they fit a bit more true to size than Converses.

Im so scared to order a full size down, I've never owned a size 9 or 9.5 and I'm a tts 10.5. (10.5 air Jordan 1 for reference). Can anyone else confirm on the sizing?
Greg Varga I would recommend 10. I think what they meant is if you are normally a half size just go to the full size just under at least that’s what I did. If you are a 10.5 go 10 if you are a 9.5 go 9. Also remember Koio is USA sizing.

I normally wear a size 9.5-10 and the 9's were too big. Size 8 was perfect with a relace.
Also, its not USA sizing, they're euro. Size 8's came in a 41....42 = 9, 43 = 10
