@@chubbygardener Actually, it _is_ accurate - when French people speak English, they tend not to pronounce the diphtongue /əʊ/ correctly, and say "c*ck" /kɒk/ instead of "coke" /kəʊk/. They do the same with "focus", which they pronounce "f*ck us" /fʌkʌs/ instead of "focus" /ˈfəʊkəs/.

@@fredd8556 They say Coca, I LIVE IN FRANCE. I've never heard somebody to say Coke. It came from the former name of the product Coca-Cola. You don't need to give a class of phonetics with IPA symbols to explain something so simple. It's the same in some countries of Latin America where people still say Coca-Cola or Coca.

    1. Russians never say "coke". We simply say "cola" and since it's an English word (short from "coca-cola") Russians tend to continue using "cola" or "coca-cola" when they are abroad.
    2. Russians have no problem pronouncing "coke" correctly, we have all the letters in the Russian alphabet to represent those sounds. It's just "коук"
    3. The woman on the video has a french accent, it has nothing to do with the Russian accent. Thereby a question: why even mentioning "russian" in the title?

@@jjbb3148 I haven't watched blacked, but generally blacks are not popular among Russian woman. They tend to fantasise about Germans/Englishmen/Italians, sometimes if they're a bit trashier it's Turks or Native Caucasians. My friend's mom says 'coke' exactly the way it's shown in the video (she's Polish though). She has a pretty heavy accent and is too based to care about the right pronunciation I guess. So yeah, maybe it's not common, but people like that exist.
