I love how coach is legit trying to educate and have fun with the youngsters in the chip shop, they cross him, are too dumb to get his jokes, and he offers them a chance at his gym anyway
There was that one where he played a London gangster & (probably deliberately tbh) did to the London accent what most non-Irish actors do to his. That was shit (so shit I don’t remember the name & can’t be arsed to look it up), and he was shit in it.
@@NickHarmanthats the point, they were given so many chances to stay out of the game, so many options to realise they were trying to play games with real players and none of them had the sense to realise it.
Guy has a knack of putting the right actors in their perfect roles, Brilliance every time and well done with the Netflix series, I thought it would be lame after the film but hits every button, thank you Guy, can't wait for series 2
Thank you for making me happy, I had not seen that there would be a season 2 and yes, I was waiting for it to suck, but instead I was very happy with it.
There are reasons as to why he carried the title into a series guys. You'd probably have to work that out for yourselves, has nothing to do with the original 'bankrollers'. Guy isn't someone who's gonna get fucked. Paramount attempted to rival the Netflix series, with no avail. The fixer will be an interesting watch. 😊
It's never mentioned but I always thought Ray was ex military if not ex SAS. The way he's OCD about cleanliness, his dislike for heroine because he's probably lost friends too the stuff, his ability to organise and orchestrate clandestine activities in urban settings, his ability to use various firearms especially the MP5. And the end when he's all ghillied up counter surveillance fletcher all just screams ex special forces yet its never even touched upon. Fantastic
His character is based on ex forces, you say OCD. Attention to detail and loads of observation. Guy spoke about it once, in the run up to the Netflix series. All of these charectierstics live out through the series, just in different characters.
The film is a masterpiece, the acting is just beyond. Literally, everyone was brilliant!! What a script, what a casting, such a classic Ritchie dynamics 🙌

No one talks like that in real life. Classic Guy Ritchie over the top dialogue
Colin Farrell is brilliant in everything he's acted in. A true talent.

I didn't think Ritchie would top Snatch, then he drops this absolute masterpiece.

He is basically the British Tarantino. A somewhat decent director, but world class dialogue and casting.
He does British crime films the best, his Jake Gyllenhaal war film was surprisingly good even though it wasn't British.

I think his OCD issues comes from his time in the military!
The fact he doesn't have a past is beautifully well done, it tells the audience everything.
The fact he weaars his suits like a uniform.
Covert surveillance op in urbanised terrain. I still venture out alone on a dark evening to take in my surroundings.
