  • @anthonym5667

    There are a couple of problems I see 1. that looks to be the wrong oil pump 2. Those H beam rods most likely won't handle 850whp 3. 850whp won't be achieved on stock location, but id assume you will be switching that. Also, you might want to pick up a Killer B oil pickup, baffle, and oil pan. This is going to be a cool build though

  • @mustangman05
    @mustangman05 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wouldn't push that Entry Level connecting rod past 450 wheel, oil pump is wrong, throw the lightweight crank pulley away. That's all for now

  • @viktorgustafsson8172
    @viktorgustafsson8172 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why did you go with a solid crank pulley and not a ATI super damper for example? Might be wrong but i have heard that a solid one is directly harmfull for an engine that is going to run for longer than 1/4 mile at a time. Gl with the build by the way its going to be awsome!

      Stay under 450whp no problem. No way he's putting together a 800whp motor here, watch the motor build video he just put out. Then go watch Subaru Performance ( German dude ) build a 800whp motor. His engine builder skipped all blue printing steps, didn't balance rods, pistons or check bearing clearances to crank. Was comical to watch.

    Jus some advice. You're gonna want to change out that lightweight/lightened crank pulley out for a good after market one that has a fluid dampener in it. The EJ crank pulley is that heavy for a reason. It helps balance the crank and everything connected to it. Especially at high rpms and increased power. You'll ruin your new build with that lightweight crank pulley...

    Could you thoroughly explain what each part does and why you upgraded from stock. Feel like this video could be completely revised to teach instead of just a show and tell

    I’m not too familiar with building engines but could these same parts work for a WRX to build it with that much HP?

    at least you have big balls to say how you spent on parts for
    your build 👍 many youtubers dont say nothings man . plus 500hp is fast enought (street safe)

    The valves and spring cost more than the head block, the pistons, the rods. Shyt I thought springs and vales would've been the most affordable of the bunch

    @ 5:53- what are "retainters"? PS- there were no valves in that box.

    Where’s your high flow downpipe? Or ARP head studs? 3 way boost controller? Accessport? I see lots missing still for even a 400 hp stock turbo build.... your gonna be lucky to make 350 with all that! 😆

      The93vigor no headers or injectors either how is he gonna get past the factory 280 whp with all that missing.

    • @DC-rq1xl
      @DC-rq1xl 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The93vigor at 6:10 he literally shows the head studs and he has other videos where he’s installed the Accessport.

      KKAHT he installed injectors on another video and you don’t need headers to go past 280whp, the oem manifold actually flows pretty well.
