Goliath was his brute strength/hate for authority, the woman represented his obsession with batman personally, Johnny represented his showmanship/charisma, and Henry represented his cunning/intelligence. Batman as Joker has ALL of those things and more that’s why Henry killed himself.

While in our eyes, we can see this as a good thing, you have to remember that in this universe, Harley considers Batman as the killer of Joker, even though we know that it's not his fault. So imagine the chance of having something similar to your one "true love", only for all of them to be dead, and her best chance of having anything like that is the killer of your love.

I absolutely loved the Joker that was in Batman’s mind throughout the first half of the game. Really added the comedic relief along with the darkness and seriousness of Knight.

I think Henry didn’t hallucinate, and that instead of Joker being a split in his psyche, it was a corruption of his own mind from the start. It’s not like this was some sort of possession. It’s their brains being poisoned the same way that the original jokers was.
Batman was essentially cured until the fear toxin unlocked the hallucinations. The reason Bruce sees the hallucinations is because of the lingering fear toxin effects, and because after all of this time he knew the joker better than anyone else in the world.
Even if Henry did somehow have similar hallucinations, he’d be imagining a man he’s probably never met.
This Harley is hotter and more in character than suicide squad.

Listen, YES there are a lot of batmobile shenanigans. But the game is still incredible. Combat, story, graphics, everything is SO good.
Again, the barmobile stuff gets ole, but its not as bad as people make it seem. Its actually quite fun for most of the game

This game looks insane for being nearly a decade old, and the PC port, even with it being a pain in the ass to run, runs a lot smoother than your modern game. The PS4 era is arguably the generation where graphics peaked, and the balance between fidelity and performance was achieved.

@@jimmycarney8758I don't think it's impossible, more like harder to make, i mean, ssktjl should've better, like if you cure temporaly the heroes like superman or batman, they could help you, or maybe not killing them, just defeating them for later, cure them. And for it be better, batman who laughs be the final boss, and harley queen discover a cure for the joker illness on batman and defeating him and later curing he, so many ways to do this game be "better" in the way the community would like. Just my opinion btw, not a native english speaker, so sorry for bad english and grammatical errors
That’s not what they were building up at all. It gets resolved by the end of the game, he locks Joker away in the deepest part of his mind.

I guess what makes this more impactful and finding out Batman was the last joker because in Arkham city Batman did use the cure, so everybody just guessed that he got cured, but then you realize jokers blood is still in Batman so potent, so strong, so toxic that even a cure couldn’t snuff it out

It absolutely is. It made me fall in love with the character of Batman.
It's amazing
Many years ago I had really no interest in playing any of the batman games. I just thought they were maybe lame console games. I finally picked up the first one, Arkham Asylum, on Steam and I was blown away by how good the game was on every level. The gameplay, the writing, the acting, and more than anything how well they captured the feeling of Batman and how you felt like you were him. It’s a truly great series.
It’s repetitive as fuck. If you can get past repetitive gameplay then yeah they’ve got great stories.

To anyone who's confused, here:
SPOILERS
During the final boss fight in Batman: Arkham Asylum, Joker injects himself with Venom, the same stuff Bane uses. Because of that, he's sick and dying in the next game, Batman: Arkham City. Also in that game, Joker sends his sick blood to multiple hospitals and injects it into Batman himself. Majority of that poisoned blood was found and recovered but not all, so few people recieved it, including the older guy, Henry. Those people later turned into a sort of copies of the Joker and were locked down by Batman so that he could help them and find a cure. Unfortunately, Harley storms the place, releasing everybody. They are later killed by Henry, after he also turns into Joker. He then kills himself after noticing that Batman has the Joker sickness too.
One more thing to mention is that the Joker you see here is not real. He is only Batman's imagination, created after he took in a batch of Scarecrows fear toxin. The real Joker died at the end of Arkham City because of his sickness.

@Mark-zi6nt Definitely recommend the Arkham series. Arkham Asylum, City, Origins and Knight. Knight has perfected the gameplay and Asylum is very rudimentary in comparison, but the story and atmosphere makes up for it all. There's a reason the arkham games are regarded as the gold standard for Superhero gaming.
Arkham city is Peak, but Arkham Knight is still really damn good. The whole trilogy is a must play.

The thing that horrified me on the second time rewatching this, Joker wasnt a virus but a actual supernatural being.
That imposter essentially made up his mind at that point that he was going to kill Bruce. But the moment joker whispered back to bruce to end the imposter. He almost immediately turned around the gun. Like if he heard bruce's mind dispite no evidence of anything...

Not even remotely what happened, he just looked at batman's eyes and saw they were green too, which indicates he's poisoned with joker's blood aswell, he shot the others to "purify the gene pool" as he was the smartest joker there, but when he saw batman was turning aswell, he turned the gun around to remove HIMSELF from the gene pool as he was no longer the perfect joker. Joker is literally only a virus induced hallucination in this game, nothing more.
Mean mugging as a guy shoots himself in the head is insane.
This could have led to a great Batman who laughs game.

Basically it slowly turned the infected people into joker. Each person was a side of it. The guy you see here was the mastermind and "odd" relationship with Harley while bats got the murderous villain side. At the start of the game it shows joker died so its all in his head.
Wish I had more context
It's been awhile but if I remember correctly, batman kills joker in the last game and has been infected with neither a serium or jokers blood and is losing his mind. He, like the old man, will slowly become the new joker but he has been fighting the transformation the whole game all while his brain manifest joker and what he would say in certain scenarios....BTW- if you get a chance, look up the cutscenes with joker, he is so damn funny.

Always loved the subtle supernatural elements in the Arkham games, like the idea that the Ace Chemical goo, the Lazarus Pits, Titan and whatever keeps Grundy alive are connected in some way.
This Joker could be a hallucination, or a ghost, or he could be something else entirely. Was the original some unlucky crook that fell in acid, or is there some perpetual evil in Gotham that resurfaces through history?
Why doesn’t Harley in SSKTJL look talk or act like the Arkham Harley?
Considering the new Deadshot and King Shark in KtJL, the only way I can make sense of it is if Suicide Squad's an Elseworlds variant of the Arkhamverse or something.

@@BatmanForever9 As far as I know, Batman somehow managed to avoid getting fully Jokerized by... locking the mental Joker hallucination in a cell deep in the back of his mind. How that prevented the physical Joker mutation, (the hair, white skin and red mouth), I have no clue.

I wish the alleged rumors of a Rocksteady Superman game were true when the Arkham games were wrapped up. I wouldn't have minded a Batman Beyond game either. There was SO SO SO much potential. These games are the reason we have the Spider-Man game (the second one was ASS ill die on that hill.) I had high hopes that the Arkham franchise would lead us into a golden age of DC themed games. This was sadly not the case 😔
