After their Shark Tank appearance where the owners were cocky and fudged their numbers I can never support Birddogs.
ColbySmithDO I agree with their owners behavior and advertisements I can see myself supporting them.

Silly, Colby. Don't you know Shark Tank is staged? Of course the numbers weren't fudged. Who would actually do that on national television. The editing team makes it look like that because the Sharks can't look stupid on TV and were insulted only 1% of equity. Stop being so naive.

I’m a huge fan of their swimwear and gym short lines. That said, I ordered 3 pairs of their oxford shorts and they all started pilling on the right hip and front left quad after just a few weeks. I returned them today and the search for a decent casual short continues.

Glad you did this review because there had not been a review yet on Birddogs. Birddogs appears to have more options than Chubbies on lined shorts. I think I am going to order the Indianapolis Jones shorts from Birddogs. They are navy blue and the logo is navy blue too so it doesn't stand out like their others do. I like to walk & or hike so I think they will be perfect for that. Another great review as always. Thanks! "Room enough for a summer squash"?! lol! What about a butternut squash? lol!

I'd give them a 4+ out of 5 star rating. I agree with you, the medium length is perfect for you. If the liner dries quickly, they could be used as a swimsuit and worn the rest of the day as shorts.
The marketing is intriguing; a little juvenile but still captivating. I have purchased one pair and expect to buy more. I find the product well made and comfortable and I also find them more appealing to wear and more flattering for those that have larger/thicker quads. I CANNOT speak to the Oxford style and in this video, that style wouldnt appeal to me either..but the Khaki style shorts I have in navy blue are really great.

Would you do a review and comparison between some of the chino work pants that are designed for commando style? Birddogs and Woof clothing make a pair. Chubbies might as well and I’m sure there are a few out there. That would be so helpful
Hey Kavalier, I have a quick question. I'm an 18 year old student and planning on going to a back to basics shopping haul. Underwear I'm sticking with Mack Weldon. Socks however I'm torn between Mack Weldon and Bombas. Do you know how they compare? If not, how long would you think the Mack Weldon Silver last if worn everyday? Thanks in advance.

Can’t hide a stiffy in these shorts haha on the real! and when you hop in the pool, lake etc. They get a huge air pocket which sucks but they are super comfortable though.
Do you put them in the dryer?

They remind me of swimming trunks with belt loops. Look comfortable, but as you said, not for going to Whole Foods, but maybe Giant Eagle and Walmart. Haha.
Belt loops with stretch pants seems odd to me, they need to eliminate them.

I disagree with your comment on wearing them to golf. I live in Georgia and play in a Monday night mens league. This is the only short I will wear for a round during the hot GA summer. I don’t think they look any different than any other golf shorts.

Not so much a fan underwear get old and wear out because there made of thin material / fabric . so because when the lining goes now ur out of a pair of shorts too, it's like loosing money what I double up and wear another pair of underwear or cut out the worn out lining I don't think it's for me plus I always hated swim trunks with that mesh lining when I was a kid .. I know there's no mesh in them but I just don't think there for me.

Another informative video. I do have to say that these shorts just don't compliment your body. Also, looks like they are always wrinkled. This would drive my OCD crazy and I would want to iron them all the time. Might be good shorts, but would not be for me.
I think that is the oxford cotton giving it the constant wrinkled look, not sure about the other styles anti-wrinkle capabilities

Romper?…. Was thinking about getting these for ultra running but that just confirmed that these are infact not the shorts for me. They seem more suited to a limp dick, golf playing, romper wearing half man.
They were just on Shark Tank and the owners could have had a deal but their attitude was very elitist, and privileged.
