- I've seen a lot of ads for BirdDogs, and after a friend recommended them, decided to buy some. I'm always looking for comfortable professional-looking pants to wear as a teacher, and these caught my eye. This video is what I think!

Yep I still wear them and love them! Especially the black pants, they go with pretty much every outfit lol. Stitching quality is amazing and the pants have stayed in great shape.

Im a 33 waist, some 32s are too tight for me, is the waistband stretchy enough on the pants to size down a tad, I want them to fit a bit more slim, so i dont want to size up
Oof that’s tough. Honestly the 32s were a bit tight on me already, so you might want to size up. They are stretchy though (especially the joggers) so you could probably still fit the 32s too
Hey there! Do these joggers have a long crotch front seam or do they hug the crotch area? Love the look of the joggers but I despise having excess room and a semi drop crotch and hinders movement when working out in them. Love the ABCs but they too have a long crotch seam. Thanks!
I am 5’8 at 154 lbs. Would you recommend a Small or Medium for the joggers? Seems i could be in between sizes. I also typically wear 32/30 in pants so i wonder if those may not fit well. Or, maybe consider lululemon or chubbies instead?
Hmm that’s tough, because they don’t have specific waist sizes. Maybe you could try lululemon ABC pants! I love those too and they have more specific sizing
Nice review! What follows is what I ended up writing even though I hadn't had that intention when I started, so I'm sorry in advance for the long ramble, lol!
I *just* got my own Bonobos order today! I'm an oldish lady. They don't make women's sweatpants in sizes that count for the fact not all chunky chicks are TALL, so I get guy's sweats, lol.
Pretending that I was shopping for a short, fat dude, l ordered two pair of sweatpants from Bonobos. Three days later, they arrived JUST as I was getting dressed!
The Fleece sweatpant in black are very comfy! (XL/Short) I put them on right away, and they performed nicely at my gruelling physical therapy workout (better than I did!), they might feel a bit heavy for other people, though.
I like the cool pocket on the leg, and all the other pockets are nice as well. They're mostly cotton, I bought them because the reviews complained that they shrank in length, and I'm like, "I HOPE so!!", lol.
The Sherpa Fleece sweatpant (black) are pretty good, SUPER comfortable. I'm wearing them right now in fact! I don't see any shedding like people complained about, but I can't say how they will look after normal washing and drying.
For me, both are strictly for bumming/working around the house/yard in, and are VERY warm.The Sherpa are too warm to work out in, but I could see wearing them for lots of winter/chilly day activities.
They weren't expensive, I was pleased with the quality of the fabrics and the details.
Mostly I'm just pleased that I got *exactly* what I wanted, it got here fast, and I don't think I spent more than $24 a pair, with a discount added.
I would recommend them to short, fat folk for SURE! I'm 5ft tall, 170lbs (In case someone's looking for sweats who's the same proportions), and I ordered XL/Short.

I am 5'8 at 175 pounds. What size combo for the pants do you recommend?
Hmm I would say get the normal waist size you get if your buying the regular pants. I’d you’re getting the joggers, look at their sizing guide to see what waist size corresponds to what size.
They look great, and I know it’s a personal preference but I’d be going without the liner. I like a 9” leg on my boxerbriefs and dont want to be completely naked if I need to take my pants of or change them somewhere.
If I’m headed to the gym or something and forget to pack briefs that’ll suck,
Or if you’re sleeping out it’s either with your pants on or completely in the buff,haha.
These are all great points! Another one I’ve realized is that you can’t really reuse the pants when they have a liner. I think in the future I’m going to stick to the regular version without liner.
Can’t lie, I got them, the pants are awful. They boast that their pants are better than lululemon, but they are so inferior. The material is cheap, and sounds and feels like ski pants, and it wrinkles horribly no matter what you do. The liner is also way too tight, and sticky. They say that lululemon pants are too hot and trap heat, but these pants are like a plastic bag stuck to you on a hot day. Lulu looks better and feels 10x better. The liner you’d think would alleviate it, but it doesn’t at all. Most importantly, they look absolutely nothing like they do in the ads. The shorts however are great, and I only wear birddogs shorts now, but they are a bit baggy. Overall I could not say enough how not good the dress pants are.
