Cheers mate, i have a Ford C-max 07, my airbag light came on , tried everything to sort it, removed the fuse as you said, my fuse was fine, started the car without the fuse, then replaced the fuse restarted the car and bingo, light is now out, thanks, saved me a bob or two.
This worked for me, just in a different way. My fuse was not blown, but I started the truck with replacing it and got the same problem. Turned the truck off, replaced the fuse, started the truck and problem was gone. The ignition cycling with and without the fuse must have reset things.
Many thanks. I would never think about it. I have to try. I will let you know. Many thanks for all the work you do and all the secrets you share to us on you tube. All the best to you.
The new fuse fixed the problem it was a blown fuse that caused the light to come on I'm having the same issue with mind so when daylight comes tomorrow I'm going to change my fuse I thought it had something to do with my seatbelt but now I know it's a blown fuse mine is a 2017 ford escape if you are in need of the lay out as to what fuse goes where you can find the diagrams on TH-cam also I was just looking at them earlier.
There is something lost in translation here. Which fuse? Was that a mini-fuse you replaced? How do you know everything is working without some sort of scanner? And we don't mind a longer 15 min video if all the steps are covered. Thanks for posting!
In most new car That is hardware code you can't not remove with obd2 or fix with chage fuse. You need rest srs control module. It's not your job if you know where is part and Google it many places with 40$ rest the module. In some case you need to fix seatbelts too. Also change whole crash sensor. airbag code is something head each job.
Hmm... so if you insert a blown fuse into your perfectly good airbag circuit you'll get the airbag light. If you put the good fuse back in the light will go off. Got it. Very helpful video 🙄
I have a 2010 Sport Trac. The air bag light was staying on sometimes. A few days later, the truck wouldn't start. Replaced the 5 year old battery and now - no light. Just saying that don't take for granted that it is just an annoyance. Your battery may be the culprit as mine was.
my car sat in a parking lot all night and it was freezing cold to where it was almost below zero. the next day when I started it, it was a rough start and lo and behold an airbag light goes on. I suspect because the battery was weak during the start that it triggered the sensor.
The title is misleading. Obviously if theirs an issue with the system and it's corrected, it will turn off. Now after a light front end impact that triggered crash sensor, 4way hazard lights, shut down the engine and in my case started to blow the horn like the alarm was going off. How do you reset that light? No air bag deployment, as it was a very light hit (hit ditch) and now it's on and won't turn off.
Is on because of a blown fuse... im lost at your logic. so you stuck a bad fuse in the fusebox and made the airbag light turn on.. so you could make a video to tell people that if your airbag light is on to check the fuse?? In the video and in the title you describe not needing any tools and said no tuner needed... but its a fuse.. if you put a scanner in it , it would say no voltage to the pms passenger monitoring system.. if had a bad sensor it would say some shit about the sensor but either way if had any issues further than a fuse an engine light would have came on.. but if you blew an airbag fuse and haddent been fukin around with anything on the car, id be worried.. ive haf bags blow out on me randomly before.. ive also been working under the hood and drop my wrench that hit one of those impact sensors and it blew every bag in the car.. still no light on though.. if you have somebody really fat sit in the passenger seat i have seen them break and the light will stay on also like for pass airbag disable for baby seat.. if you push on the seat a little and not sit in it then it will disable the bag think 15-50lbs is disable weight... what world are you a mechanic in though? The honda world? America? France? Home mechanic? Just wondering..
Not tryna be rude or anything but before making a vid for English speakers u might wanna speak a bit better English I had a hard time understanding imo

Did you use the existing fuse again or did you buy a new one to use?

Thank you! Very helpful!
You have not shown how to reset air bag light. You simply replaced a blown fuse. Misleading title.

@@traceyjones2010 He put the burnt out fuse in there to cause a problem to then show a false fix.

2011 ford fusion has code b00a0 can I change the airbag control module with one out of a junk car
It would be best to determine why the fuse blew in the first place. Wondering if it blew again and your light came back on.
Did you say that the passenger seat triggers at 200 lbs, when she sat down?
The best thing that could happen when working on cars is to have a blown fuse.
Strong back bone to the end of time 💪💯

Question, how do I turn off Airbags light after replacing driver and passenger bags on a 2002 Ford mustang? Thank you
Which fuse did you replace?
the blown one
I'm confused, which fuse was it? thnx
Thanks Pal !

I might be a little slow here but are you saying that if everything is ok, the light will not come on? 😮
King and queen 💯
thank you guy i am good working on my truck but that would have been the last place i would look thanks to it was the fuse

So it was just a fuse?! Which fuse is it exactly?
exactly wat fuse is that their must be a num to easily find
Loop
I hooked a scanner up & there were no codes for this airbag light either. Very strange
If you get into an accident and fix everything but the airbag light is on, how to turn off the light?
Do you have any advice how to remove the stability light?
Try to check the sensors first. 99% are wire problems very rare dirty or faulty sensors.
I'm not professional but I fixed 2 cars.
Well this was a waste of my time to watch, only works if the fuse is blown smh..
You usually make great videos, this one sucks. At least explain which fuse that connects to what lol

Mines the same did you work out your issue?
Where do you get a new button fuse?
Why not just say at the beginning without all the extra stuff not needed said first.
Again no passenger airbag when baby seat has been put in ...oorkeey
Well my fuse is not blown
