Are eggs safe for individuals with diabetes? In this video, we delve into What Really Happens If A Diabetic Eat 12 Eggs A Week? shedding light on whether it's advisable to include eggs in the diet of those at risk of or living with type 2 diabetes. Led by Nicholas R. Fuller, PhD, from the Boden Institute of Obesity, Nutrition, Exercise, and Eating Disorders at the University of Sydney, Australia, the DIABEGG study examined the impact of egg consumption on cardiovascular markers in overweight or obese individuals with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.
