Stories of Transformation - Sarah

  • At 13 years old, Sarah began experiencing depression, and within a few years was using marijuana daily to cope. As she approached her current age of 20, she also started to experience body dysmorphia and the cycle of shame, guilt and depression that goes along with it. Sarah's parents signed her and her sisters up for the Malta Advanced Week Long Retreat, and to prepare for the retreat, Sarah began practicing Dr Joe's meditations and she stopped taking marijuana. Through this time, and during the Retreat, Sarah dealt with the discomfort of releasing suppressed emotions...but the relief and freedom was worth it.

Sarah, you are a beautiful young lady, I hope you see what we see. I am in awe that your parents were so loving and open minded to want you and your sisters to attend this event. What wonderful parents you have and how amazing that you all will carry this work with you at such an early age. Good luck on your journey little one ❤️

Im about to go on my first advance week long retreat. Ive been an addict on and off my whole life. Going thru a middle age crisis and founding Dr. Joe, I am afraid that going to the event my depression, insomnia, addictions are not going to be healed because Ive only heard stories of cancer, or more serious illnesses were healed. But rarely Ive seen stories of depression anxiety, addiction. Now Im going with a bit more hope and I WILL heal and release all the effing trauma I cannot let go. Im going to focus on the fact that other ppl have done it, and I will too. Thank you Sarah.

If you immerse in the work and just do it, you will do great. Do the progresive and intensive events before to have the language and vocabulary, this is the beat advice I heard and read

Dear Sarah congratulations!!! I just see a very intelligent person at the very young age. You are very lucky indeed to be able to reach such valuable self help information at your twenty although it is never late for any of us at any age.. You sound not only sincere but look very beautiful as well. Thanks a lot for sharing it with us. It is not very common to see young people testimonials, so regarding to that you are very special, a leading edge person. Love

Weed addiction is real. Some people ignorantly believe you can't be addicted to weed and I have seen with my own eyes people being treated in a doctor's office for weed addiction and the painful withdrawls and emotional trauma and struggle. I had a boyfriend who used weed since he was in junior high. He thought it was a '"safe drug that was natural". Opium is natural so is cocaine so I don't buy that logic. The side effects are very destructive. But as in most drug addictions its victims are in denial. Sarah I'm so glad you had the courage to go to Dr. Joe's event and do the work and learn the self mastety and heal yourself. It's the greatest gift of all.

I agree weed can be very addictive, but in different ways than most think. I think there is a strong emotional component, and weed helps promote a state in which the user puts off dealing with trauma, so it never fully resolves. If you don't have serious emotional traumas, it may be fairly harmless. But if you do have serious emotional traumas, then weed can quickly become addictive.
Physically, weed is not in the same ballpark as addictive drugs like cocaine and heroin/opium.

Side effects some are dementia & memory loss. Canbeunsafe to drive as it slows cognition and reaction time. Increasing anxiety between dosages & need for more. Many people use it to reduce anxiety instead of healing the original trauma or taking action in one’s Life to improve the ongoing challenging situation. This is all documented, you can find the research easily. If you pretend that none of this is true, you may be in the typical denial of addiction.

    • @AnjaWinkelmann
      @AnjaWinkelmann 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

There are. But usually they ask people for a testimonial at the events. And yes, you can get healed (in every area) without an event

Yes, you can. Do the work on your own and go on the journey Kenneth, find out for yourself. Remove the negativity you have as this being a con and try it, seriously, what else do you have to lose but time and learning what you are actually capable of.

I can give you one. Found out about about Joe and meditation 4 months ago via Ytb, used "Rest and renew" and "Guided meditation" from youtube and i had many many different things hapening, from jolts of electricity thru my spine, to numb feelings that were happening almost every time i did it thru morning meditation, and in 4 months it(the proces) changed more than half of my personality, my spine is better every day and the burnout i have been in for 3 years is stopping so fast that i cannot recognize myself after few days. I am eating much more and having more energy and i love every one even those who hurted me during my young life and that healed most of my traumas. It was not easy to sit every morning for 30-60-90 minutes but it was worth it. Also, i downloaded most of Joe´s interwievs from youtube and listened for 2hrs average per day in that period, because things need to be remembered and used day after day so that fog and those old habbits slowly dissolve. I also listened Joe´s audiobooks on "Scribd" because i really wanted to change my life so i did everything to understand that.
Passion for music emerged a month ago by itself.
We are work in progress, you need to check who you are with, eliminate most of bad things and train focus and will power.
      Cheers

In my perception I I believe definitely one can heal with his own meditation but the energy of that kinds of events is very very high that’s why healing and miracles is happening a lot at dr. Dispenza events.

You brought weed into this like it was not helping you get to the point of being open for the next level of help. 🙄😳 Maybe it was just the tool you needed. Why jump on the bandwagon and demonize it with all the other people who don't appreciate the healing usefulness that it can bring. You seem easily persuaded. This makes your story ( for me) seem a little discredible.

Hey, late reply: you’re right, it does seem like I talk down on that, which is not the Right approach. I do see a lot of studies etc of people using cannabis and the very positive aspects of that etc, I do think it can be a safe and useful and beautiful thing as well. not if it’s abused, like I did and like any other substance can be abused. It was maybe something I needed to realize
