Stories of Transformation - Jessica

  • Jessica struggled with depression, but it didn't get critical until her father and brother both committed suicide in the same year. She considered suicide herself, but tried antidepressant medications and PTSD counseling instead. A friend told her about Dr Joe, and she immediately completed the online Intensive and Progressive Workshops before attending the Berlin Week Long Advanced Retreat. She has fallen in love with meditating-- and with life -- and is starting a non-profit organization in honor of her brother Justin, called Just In Time to Save a Life.
    Recorded at the Amelia Island Advanced Follow Up in August 2018.

    It just goes to show you to be kind to everyone - you literally do not know what people have gone through in their lives, the depths of pain they have experienced- no matter how beautiful put together they are. God bless this beautiful soul, I’m so glad you found Dr. Joe and his teachings as well! Do not let your life crumble - it’s more than worth it to live, and live on for their memory as well. You are closest thing to them on earth still and that knew them the best- you’re doing amazing! Don’t let it die. Xx 💗💗💗

    We spoke before your testimonial - you were pretty nervous but wow you did an amazing job! Thank you for sharing your journey, difficult circumstances to navigate and so inspiring to see how you've empowered yourself, and turned everything around. Keep inspiring others, there are so many walking in grief and despair and talking about it, raising awareness and empowering others with knowledge, tools and as an example, is how the world changes. Dr Joe's work is extraordinary and so powerful. Keep shining your light. xx

    Between so many stories of disasters and traumas and loss, yours gets closer to my heart. From my 9 siblings, the 2 who were closest to me (the only ones who assisted to my school grades) died because of nervous system illness related diseases. My symptoms have been different, but I've been energetically paralyzed. Your story is very uplifting for me. Blessings for you!!!

    I wonder where people are getting the money to attend these workshops.
    I don’t have enough to go but too much income combined with my wife
    to qualify for for help. This lovely lady seems quite well off to start a foundation or to just go to workshops at the drop of a hat. Even if Dr. Joe has a workshop again here in Canada, instead of some expensive ocean liner or exotic holiday resort, how do those with modest incomes do it?

    • @takingflight7656
      @takingflight7656 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I often wonder that, too. At this point, the only way I could attend would be from the Divine! 🤷‍♀️💲
      So I'm working on manifesting that.

      Please attend a 10 day vipassana meditation retreat by S N Goenka ... its where dr joe gained all this wisdom from... its absolutely free of cost .... u can apply at dhamma.org . There are centres all over the world .. u cn choose location where u reside.

    • @Eighteen19
      @Eighteen19 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Was thinking the exact same and the only answer I got was.... stop wondering about it and start making that much money orrrrr start getting better so you can use that money instead for the stuff you really wanna do... I wanna at end the workshop but as a healed person who is financially stable. Not right now.

    • @jessicademeo5488
      @jessicademeo5488 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it depends on the job you are doing 🤷‍♀️ I have enough money to go to several workshops but still can't go because of other reasons. I think when the time is right, the possibility occurs.
      Many people have manifested going to a workshop with using the tuning into new potentials meditation. And if money is an issue then it is probably best to focus on feeling abundant and worthy.

      I wasn’t well off when I attended this retreat. I worked so hard and saved my money and had friends to stay with in Germany however that is why I started my nonprofit because I know a lot of people who cannot always get the help they need and especially suicidal people. I have been focusing on abundance and keep moving forward even if it’s only 1 percent better. I’m doing everything I can to get this nonprofit finally up and running. It didn’t happen over night but 2023 is the year that we are hoping to make this project come true. If not this year then definitely 2024.

    Thanks for sharing. Did the images came back? If they do how do you cope with it? In one week what is the main method of healing to end with suicidal thoughts at the workshop? Is that it? Or you have to continue working by yourself and how?

      I had to continue to work on myself but I no longer think about taking my life. It took me a few more years to completely heal from this. This was me just coming out of survival mode. I kept on the journey and every day got better.

    thank you!

  • @t.c.0001
    @t.c.0001 5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    I have been watching all these testimonials. One thing I want to ask Dr Joe dispenza's team, if whatever you're teaching is true, then you can earn a lot of money from doing other businesses, why do you charge people so much of money for teaching meditations if you want to help them. If people need your help, then they obviously not be having that much of money.

    • @shicruisin7004
      @shicruisin7004 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well, he does have a program which pays for the 5 day retreat course for people who really need it. And that's great for people who live close to wherever the retreat is being held, but if you have to travel & pay for accommodation for 7 days, that makes it impossible anyway. Besides that, one has to have done 2 courses already to qualify for the 7 day retreat. I know that Dr Joe's work is worth all this money, but if you don't have that money, you cannot benefit from it and have to do it on your own at home. Which I know is not as effective as being there, touched by all that energy from all these people vibrating the right stuff all together. That's so powerful, resulting in all these amazing healings. Also, I, sit here sad, because I can't afford the 2 courses or the travel & accommodation to wherever, even if I am lucky enough to get the retreat course for free. :'(

      @t.c.0001 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@shicruisin7004 exactly..! that's what I want to say. It's not easy for someone with severe depression to do all these meditations on his own.

      T. C. Yes it is! Just do it. One day at a time. It DOES get better. Take one step at a time.

      I have gotten into doing the meditation and there is a lot of what Joe says that I think is helpful. However I find the level of commercialism very off putting. Don't get me wrong people are deserving of wealth and Joe certainly is but it feels uncaring and greedy that there is no sliding scale for people. Yes there is the organisation give to, but that is the generosity of the public still Joe gets the money. Even people who are called volunteers who help other people at the workshops have to pay and only get a 20 percent reduction.I also read recently that he is going to bring out his own supplements, which is unbelievable given that he has argued that matter to matter, is not what heals people. I also don't like that he expects people to call him Dr. I don't think he is a Dr but even if he is I wouldn't go a round calling someone Mr Joe. It feels like it's done as a ploy to generate reassurence in his scientific approach and it does the opposite for me. That said there does seem to be a lot of free stuff available on TH-cam for which I am really grateful and I think what he teaches is amazing.

    • @takingflight7656
      @takingflight7656 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I agree. This comes up quite often and it's a shame that the prices are so steep that it seems only the affluent are able to really fullu benefit from this work. (I will say though, I've had some amazing experiences just doing meditations on my own) Still, it should be made available for all classes.
      The only way I'll ever be able to go at this point is from the Divine.
      I'm also meditating for abundance, but feel that a workshop would be helpful for that...buuuuut I need $ to attend the workshop. So it's a Catch 22.
      I think that why so many testimonials you see here are healings vs. manifestations. Because those who are able to attend are mostly set financially.
      Oh well. I'm keeping on with the work but my biggest critique is this socioeconomic aspect. Something this wonderful shouldn't only be available for the wealthy or those who qualify for assistance.
