After the job interview, you’re probably wondering if the job interview went well. Ask Yourself these 9 questions and you'll know if your job interview went well and if you can expect to hear back for another interview or even land the job offer.
1. How long was the interview?
If it went over time this is usually a good sign. If it was significantly shorter than the interview told you it would be then either they got all the info they needed in record time or they could tell you were not a good fit and wanted to end the interview quickly.
2. How engaging was the interviewer?
Did the interviewer have engaging body language, smiling, leaning in, nodding, or even widening eyes as you were speaking during the interview?
3. Was the interviewer prepared?
If they seemed rushed, or unprepared that means they probably weren't to excited about you to begin with and they weren't concerned about making a good impression either.
4. Was the interview more like a stiff business meeting or more like an intriguing conversation?
You want a job interview to feel like a good intriguing conversation, not a business meeting.
5. Did the interviewer tell you about the job responsibilities and you found them saying, "you would be doing this" or "you would be working closely with.." instead of "the person in this role will be doing this or that"
If they're saying "You" then that is a good sign that they are seeing YOU as the person they would like to hire for this role.
6. Did the interviewer tell you how great the company is?
They believe you would be a great fit and they're trying to convince you this would be the best fit for you.
7. Did they ask you for your availability in the interview?
If the interviewer is asking you what your availability is for a potential next interview, this means they will want to schedule you for another job interview following this one.
8. Did you get introduced to others in the company that you would be working closely with?
This is a great sign that the job interview went well because they're wanting the other team members to meet you and see how well you interact with others.
9. Do You feel like it went well?
If you feel like you did really well in the job interview, then chances are that you did.

I had an interview today and I know for facts that I did great. They liked my answers even shaking their hands and smiling, it was long but until I got the offer that’s when I know it did well.
Did you get it?
Every time I got a tour of the plant or site. Got the job. That is a big one.

Im registered nurse I had intereview sept 13th at 2pm on Teams. (Similar to zoom) . The interview went on 1hr and 20 min. We had good conversation and few laughs. .I think the interview really went well. ,I got positive feedbacks on my answer .They were like you said you have do certain things like expectations in 30 days 60 days 90 days and i asked for it and they gave an answer in so much detail that i feel like im part of the member. And at the end of the interview they asked me about 2 references. And after I had few questions still left unanswered but i had an hour interview. I said i still had some questions left. And the manager said send all the questions or concerns through email with the references lol and they were telling me training system and the program they use to chart. And they kept telling the learning opportunities that I have anwayways And i sent the thank you. :) i hope this is good sign.

mine was smiling and impressed I already know the brand from getting there shoes online it did last 8 out of ten min thou I say that still good for me 5 min or shorter is a bad interview I found out.
I think alot of my job interviews went well but i always get rejected.

Signs it didn't go well, the person who was going to call you at 1:30, never calls....at all!. The interviewer, tells you in their opening comment "I don't consider you a Project Manager", and you have only done that for 43 years. Another interviewer, dives headlong into picking your entire resume and career to pieces for the first 30 minutes. Another interviewer opens with the comment, "Well, I want to be upfront, we have an unsustainable level of chaos here and the last person quit after just three weeks.
My Zoom interview was tougher because his webcam stopped working so I couldn't read how well it went.. We'll see..
Hi! I have experienced these signs during my interview on July 1. I believe it went really well and it felt more of like a casual conversation. It went longer than expected and We also had some laughs too! They gave me positive responses such as “you seem very passionate in your career & I have great accounting experiences”. They asked me personal questions about where I’m from and they were so amazed. I felt really connected with the managers and after I met up with two of the directors where they explained to me about how their clients are loyal to them and they have programs where I can enchance my professional career which I thought was great! The directors gave me an office tour and introduced me to their staff. A few days after, the director sent me an email that they have a few more interviews to go and they will get back to me in a week or so. I sent a follow up email a week after which was this Thursday, and I still havent gotten a response yet. I believe it has been two weeks at this point since my interview. I’m waiting and trying my best to be patient, but at the same I’m kind of losing hope. I felt great & confident, however, I told myself to not get my hopes up because anything could happen. I’m slowly starting to think they might have chosen someone elsd. Do you think I have a chance?

ive got interviewed but i didn't see interviewer via zoom that's why I didn't know sign if she like my answers the only thing question in my mind is she express a smile voice and told me goodluck :)
She also mentioned wait for the recruiters call or email for the result. Im a bit excited.. Do u think I've passed?

Hi Renae, i recently had an interview and i went onto doing a second interview and at that second interview I was brought to meet other staff in the office, told of possible start dates and showed where my office will be. Also, later that day, about a hour after the interview ended, a background check authorization form was sent to me to sign to run my background check. I now see that the position has been reposted by the company. I am wondering what to do.

Recently, I have given one interview at company after finishing interview I got mail from Hr that "we will give you update next week once director come from holiday"
In next week I got updated email from Hr saying that " We are review a few other candidates for the position and hope to present an offer early next week. You are one of our top candidates so we will be in touch soon."
Does it indicate good sign?
Definitely! If they tell you, you're a top candidate and they hope to present an offer, you're in a really good place!

I had an interview and interviewer was very engaging and saying "I am getting right answers" "yeah thats what we do". All these are positive signs? I spoke to HR bit they soad inyerviews a re still going on and my feedback is pending. What does it mean?

Question: Is around 35-40 minutes still a good length? The recruiters really seemed to like my answers a lot, there were 3 people interviewing me. I'm applying for a nurse RN job at a hospital. 🙏🙏🙏 After rhe interview the recruiter asked if i had any questions, and she gave me her buisiness card if i had any questions and said that i should expect a phone call by next week (if im chosen). They really liked my answers to their clinical based questions and nodded their heads and smiled, we laughed a few times too, i wanted to be down-to-earth yet corgial, i was very enthusiatic with them and smiled. I saw them take lots of notes when i replied with my answers, and when i answered certain ones right they said "good 👍". Please let me know your input. 🙏🙏

is it ok to send an Email or calling directly the Manager /hiring manager after few days of the interview (7days for exmpl )? instead of waiting for no limits his decision ! ? simply to know if he is still interrested or not ! ..
( in my case , the MAnager called me after i sent my application and he suggested a position that i like and he said" the position will be available in few days( after the employee leave) and i will be in touch .."
he showed hiis consideration but then we talked about more details and i was honest about it .. there is a mission in the position that needs a dutie that i didn't do usally in my work experience
so he said " i thought that you can do this too ..but it s not ! and in this role we need this dutie essencially" .. " i told him that I am a fast learner and I have a good knowledge about it "
he said" i will see i will be in touch if there is any news .. anyway the position will be available in few days .i will be in touch thank you

Interviewers also work on lap top pc during the interview so the candidate being interviewed would not see paper copy of his or her copy
I did a 2nd interview n I got to meet other mangers is this a good sign ? this happen like week ago and they said they would let me know in one or 2 weeks if I got the job or not, the manger also gave me her # after the 1st interview she discussed the salary my duties and my availability, could they be waiting for the year to end for them to hire me ? they still haven’t called my reference btw
All good signs - if the salary comes up towards the end of your interview most likely you got the job. But if it's the beginning, it's part of the norm,
If they ask me to provide them with employee references, 5 year driver's abstract, RCMP criminal record check, insurance accident report from my auto insurance company. All of these at my own expense for a shuttle taxi driver position at my job interview. if every thing checks clear that I have nothing against me. What are the chances of me getting a job offer from this company?

Hi, I recently had an interview and it was a panel. When we started the interview the interviewer said she was very excited to learn more about me and experiences. As the interview went on, I just sensed maybe they didn’t like me as much not sure if I’m over thinking it. But it’s so hard to tell. At the start they kept saying “you,” and showed me a diagram of what department I would be in. Then near the end they said “if you are the successful candidate.” I sent a thank you email as well but didn’t get a reply. What do you think of this? It’s a job I really have been trying for.
I can honestly tell you that you should start looking elsewhere.... been there - when you felt that the tone changed while the interview is going then that means, they were more excited before meeting but then when they met you weren't the one they expected. it happens!
