hope you guys enjoy the apartment tour 💖 let me know your comments on the question at the end 🤪 also just want to disclaim this is what has worked for me in terms of design layout and space! also the rent in Arlington is high in general so rent varies by location.
I like both , but I think the white vertical one would go better 💖
I actually recently moved my desk to face the window in my room and I would not recommend! The light from the window sometimes is blinding and you cannot see your monitor clearly + in the colder days the window area is the coldest so it's not super cosy! I hope that makes you feel better about your desk placement :)

Jenna- the white shoe stand for the win! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I have that same shoe stand in black/brown- it hides 12 pairs of shoes; adding silver or black hardware will elevate the look. Who knew there was such a thing as a "junior" 1 bed? 😂The female body candle in the bathroom and the bath mat are gorgeous. I need those black slippers with yellow smiley faces! The console is stunning. Looool at thomas' non-aesthetic Nintendo switch 😂Loved the apartment tour. The first shoe rack would look nice if it were outside by the doorway instead of in a closet so the white one will do so you can put away your shoes right at the door 🙂
I didn’t know there was a junior either 😂💖 I’m so happy you enjoyed it zoey ❤️ ugh unfortunately the wooden one won’t fit any where by the door it’s too cramped, which is why it’d have to go in the closet
You’ve done such a great job with the decor and storage you have, your apartment is beautiful!! Living in a small space is no joke, I feel like no matter what Ken and I do our apartment will always feel cluttered haha 🤪 Also I vote for the wooden shoe rack! It seems like it would be a little more practical because it would hold more shoes!

Love the aesthetic of your apartment 😍 I've heard you say that you're short, I didn't know you were 5'2". Honestly I had no clue girl! I always thought you were 5'10". I think it's the angles when you shoot your video 😁 Even the living room shots, you look tall to me! Not that your height matters at all. Cool 😎 apartment! Thanks for the tour! Some suggestions - you can use clear storage containers for the closet and kitchen cabinets and drawers for good aesthetic, and you can see everything. Great job 👍🏾!

I stayed in Arlington briefly (penrose)I think some places the newer ones are smaller sq ft than the older places but the amenities and shops around kinda make up for it but your place has great lighting & homey, I like it.
The amenities at my place are amazing, the rooftop gym is hard to beat💖

Love the apartment. I'm moving to Arlington in March and was looking at Cortland Rosslyn, Gables Pointe 14, Tellus and maybe The Sur. What would be your input on Luxury apartments I should tour? Any info would be great. I would like to stay in Arlington and for it to be somewhat walkable.
I think those are all great choices! I only toured tellus and I loved it. Also 4040 Wilson is another one to check out.

The tour was interesting. Wonderful people seem too have given you wonderful items but this semi live in Bfriend only adds their clothes onto the already many things and gave "Random flowers"(?). You put together the console in your bedroom and the sofa it was a challenge for you (where was he?) ...I only mention because you keep saying "I live alone" and "It is small but it's just me" but then his stuff pops in (?) So I hope you have stuff around their space too. Anywho, I TOTALLY agree, I take my trash out every night! Overall cute space! Thx for sharing.
The lease is in my name only! So I put a lot of stuff together during the week and thomas would come help me on weekends when he naturally would come over anyways. I don’t need him to build, and he’s allowed to leave whatever he’d like at my place although it’s small, he’s my boyfriend so I don’t mind at all💖 so happy you love the space

That’s how my apartment complex defines it!
"anything less than $1700 just feels cheap" you're snobby and you don't even have a kitchen table.
I don't mean to be snobby about it, since my space is so small with no room for a kitchen table I wanted to invest in the couch! I don't judge anyone who chooses more affordable options :) almost everything besides my couch is affordable and from amazon anyways.
