This is your apartment it should reflect you and your paying it for you to enjoy. If you do meet a man you want to marry, perhaps you’d both find a new place all together. Also, do you really think your future husband is designing his place for you?

Your ability to turn a small space into an uncluttered modern fresh vibe on a limited budget I might add, is a testament to your gift of creativity. Its much harder to pull pieces from different sources and end up with a functioning cohesive put together look. Love what u have done and looking forward to seeing more from you when your square footage is even bigger!
It will be uncluttered if I stop now. haha..lI am actually way better with smaller spaces, it is odd. My ouse was big and it too me forever to figure it out. Maybe, too many options. Thank you, my bathroom drives me bonkers.

Agree, I donate everything. I gave two bags of clothes to my valet to give to their daughters. We have a drop off few blocks down o 72nd street, makes it very convenient. They take anything and everything.

Hello Beautiful! When I was looking to make a move to FL, I bypassed all of the units that had less than 700sq ft. What you have done with 575 is nothing short of "frickin fabulous" not one mm of wasted space. I absolutely ❤❤❤ this arrangement and saving for future reference.
I can’t believe how much stuff I fit into this apartment. I remember sleeping on my yoga mat and laying pieces of paper out on the floor trying to figure out how big of a couch I can get because it’s so small in here. I’m shocked that I actually put a consul behind the couch that my big egg chair fits in here and it doesn’t look too crazy squished. The tiny consul table at the front door. I’m really amazed myself LOL! Glad you like it and I do the patio and the bathroom now

Hey Karolina, I’m so happy to hear that. On Wednesday I’m posting my small bedroom tour and I’m doing a little mini makeover to the bedding. The tour consist of the dimensions of everything in there. I fit a lot so I just wanted to tell you guys the dimensions of the nightstands, bed and the depth of the room etc.

OMG I love your decor and how you got a lot of items cheap from being pre-owned but I have to say you’re VERY INSPIRING and change my idea of second hand items forever! You are so welcome Melanie! I honestly love small places over bigger places. I bought a house in California and it had two stories over 1800 sq. ft. I was lost on how to decorate. Small places are much more fun for me and don;t forget to go big! Measure your space but go big with your pieces. Small furniture in a small place makes it look like a dollhouse. Statement pieces are better than a lot of little chochky stuff. Good luck, lmk if you need any help:)

Yes pain was involved, but The rebel in me refused to let people affect my happiness for too long. My go to mood is happy. It is the most weightless mood, everything else is so heavy it feels like dragging a boulder around every day. I had a beautiful closure with the "cute guy" few days ago. I will share tomorrow. Please look at what the traumas and sdaness are trying to teach you. Look inside yourself, self reflect and find the answers. It is healing when we get out of the victim mentality. Step into your power and take back your life, don't let people that don't deserve the space in your head to stay.

Their are some temporary tiles & wall papers etc you can use that come off when you move...Check out Lone Fox, he's used them in his remodels...plenty of options thank God for that...

Patio pillows should be soft, so I buy indoor pillows and bring them in. SO much more comfy than the crunchy sunbrella fabric.

I’m downsizing this weekend from a three bedroom apartment to a two bedroom, but it’s actually almost the same amount of square feet. I love to move. You get rid of junk and you keep your place clean!

Love your apartment oh my! I did want to quickly mention that the oil of oregano should not be taken more than 10 days at a time as it’s a strong antiviral (I have a video on this on my channel if you want more information on it) and as a means of parasite cleanse and etc. pau d’arco is amazing but I’m not too sure of its use long term as again it may be too harsh on your system. With oils and extracts the form of substance is quite potent so you always want to take with caution. I work with supplements alongside of holistic nutritionist so I just wanted to make sure you are aware of this 💖

I feel so happy and light lately Obviously a piece of my heart will always have the "cute guys" name on it, but being able to end it in love gave me beautiful closure that I did not have previously with the girl on our boat and him leaving so fast. We had so much love & such a friendship, we deserved a better ending. I got that by being able to see him, hug him and tell him that I loved him and thanking him for a beautiful 6 months, I feel healed. It was a beautiful, sad moment. Tragic love story, right there.

I absolutely loved the design of your apartment!!! It is so beautiful and classy, yet extremely affordable. I normally feel like I need a space that is larger than this but I also need to save money. This video really helped me to feel comfortable with moving in to a smaller apartment and to find ways to make it look chic and spacious. 💕
I actually prefer small spaces. I bought a house when I lived in California and it was two-story, I had a few bedrooms a huge garage and I have to tell you it took me forever to decorate and fall in love with that place. It was too big for me. Some thing about small spaces I love. Maybe from growing up, my Nana had a little bungalows in Santa Barbara that were always so cute. What city do you live in?

I currently live in Fayetteville, NC (Not too far from Raleigh) but I would love to move to Charlotte, NC or to another city in a different state that offers a lot of employment opportunities and fun activities in another year or so lol.

Hey girl, going through my comments seeing if I missed anything and it looks like I missed you. Yes I agree oversize mirrors always make a place look a lot bigger. I feel like if you have a small space and you get small things it just makes everything look chief. I was a little apprehensive to buy really big stuff but I knew I wouldn’t be staying here so I’m like screw it I’m just gonna buy big stuff and if it’s crowded in here it’s temporary but luckily everything ended up looking really good. Kind of an accident that taught me a design skill. The bigger the better even if you’re in a small space

I switch my style a lot. When I was in California it was a lot of gray and white in Miami everything is always white and modern and I knew I wanted something light but I didn’t want that cheesy shiny white modern so I did this look... it’s cozy and calming. I will keep it this way for a while.

I like both bed pillows. The middle ones match the bed but the outer ones make it pop and give it depth. I would keep all of them but if I had to choose, I would choose the outer ones. 🙂

I’m actually making over the bedroom for fall, the bathroom is a nightmare I literally just go in there and stare at it every day, there’s really nothing I could do because it’s a rental and I’m leaving. There’s tile everywhere and it doesn’t match I don’t want to mess with it.

Your apartment is gorgeous!! I love it & it all flows so beautifully!!! Great pillows everywhere, love velvet. No bedbench, dog beds at foot of bed so sweet. Love all trees & bushes outside flowing in wind from balcony. It is small but cozy & classy. Also love clear coffee table & matching side entrance table. Glad you didn't put handles on side tables in bedroom, perfect as is. If I was single, your apartment is my dream!
Thank you so much!! I work with acrylic a lot in small spaces. Keeps it airy. Don't get me wrong I love my reclaimed wood, but too heavy in a space this small. Agree no bed bench and no handles. I missed the beauty of my dancing trees until somebody mentioned it in a video. I was to focused on the fact that I didn't get the water view apartment I wanted that I missed the beauty of my dancing trees. Perception is everything. Now I always notice them and love.

Nice. Trees view is great! Lived in LA/SF 22 yrs! Moved north of Dallas in 2014 when rents were much less.. 2022 - Rents up here 33%-50% ! NOW - co's & people moving to TX, FL, NV, etc. (I recall CA rents skyrocketed in '80s w/tech influx)
