Hey Eben just so you know when making your videos the PI improver will not clean the valves on a direct injection as the fuel will not pass over the valves like older cars. Yes it will help with injectors for sure as well piston crowns What I do suggest is putting it into a pressure canister and use it to perform a intake service using an s tool that will atomize the product into the intake and clean the intake tract that will pass over the valves. Can use it in conjunction with the power foam. The foam will loosen it up and the pi improver will finish it off I also own one of these cars and the products work applying like that. I would like to add you make great videos I love your cheerful approach to all your customers it’s great to see how it reflects back to them when helping them perform services. I am also an independent distributor of the worlds greatest products keep up the great work.
Hello Eben . Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 no sales products Amsoil oil and filter. Incredible !! Thanks for your video and information!!!
I’m excited to put amsoil filter on, get it in mail tomorrow, as long as it’s not a furnace out, I’ll change oil tomorrow if not definitely on the weekend
With all that spreadin of the love yall gonna need more rubbers! Eben, i just became a preferred customer under ur number. Im changing my subaru over to amsoil’
😄, sweet thank you John! Awesome awesome definitely let me know how it runs where do you get time to change it over🤟☕🇺🇸 Are you on Facebook or Instagram? These are my accounts: Instagram - instagram.com/syntheticoilprotection/ Facebook - facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007973957868
Eben keep up the Awesome work!! Be Fun to take a Drive from Arizona to you since I'm 43 and still haven't been Vegas one Time!! Crazy right!!! I wanna drive my Wrx up there and possibly see if you wanna do oil change for me!!! Possibly a flush!! It would be after the Pandemic slows down of course...Just throwing it out for a future date so I can actually Grace Vegas with my presence 🌞 Have a Great week my Friend!
Awesome! Question either you or maybe Jeff could answer. My parents have a '17 Crosstrek XV. It has that same top mount down facing oil filter however an old neighbor gave me a dozen Suby brand filters. Would it hurt to keep Amsoil in the engine while changing out just the filter after 4-5k miles and topping the oil off? I'd hate to waste them and would rather use them up until I can buy the Amsoil brand filters. Thanks again and keep making great informational videos.
The big difference is the quality of the filter medium the Amsoil oil filter also has a better anti drain back valve which is made out of silicone so during the cold start it won't flow as quick as if it was the Amsoil oil filter. When I first started using Amsoil I actually used to use a really inexpensive oil filter and then after my second oil change that I started getting the Amsoil oil filters. My car ran better and it also started up a little faster so it definitely makes a difference.
You're completely fine to run the 5w 20 down to about -10 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. The 0w 20 is designed for the East Coast extremely cold Michigan 20 30 below zero
I was wondering the same thing. Toyota specs 0w-20 in the owner's manual for my 2017 Tacoma. Toyota says you can use 5w-20 in a pinch.. however, you must change it out and use 0w-20. I live in NE Pennsylvania, we get some days during the winter below zero and 90 plus dgree days in the summer. I'm guessing 0w-20 would be the best for wide swings in temp and keeping with in specs. I.m currently running with Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0w-20 in my truck. I was also thinking about using the Toyota TRD filter for my next oil change.
Excellent video Eban. I have a 2012 Suzuki SX4 1.6 with 117,000 km (73,000 miles), and I want to make it an engine flush but I have heard and read comments that this can be harmful for the engine and for the VVT system, is that true? Can I make an engine flush with confidence? Thank you. Greetings from Chile
Yes I've done over 50 engine flushes and I've never had one problem. This is my engine flush Playlist- th-cam.com/play/PLB_ftWArBFddawwJUyra9BJY50iLTuBN9.html
There's many different components on an engine that can get cleaned the Rings oil cooler ports timing chain valves it depends on where the lubricants touch the metal for instance when you run fuel additives they can clean the injectors the valves as long as the fuel touches those components just depends on the motor. ♥️ See Fluid Performance Tests - www.amsoil.com/performancetests.aspx?zo=5331179
All you do is just pour in the flush and then you're good to go the flush bottle is pretty small. It's really crazy how good that flushes I've done a 2012 F250 Super Duty 6.7 liter powerstroke it holds 13.1 quarts of motor oil and the motor oil is 5w 40 and it actually thins out the oil like it's regular gasoline oil. That flushes a miracle when it comes to doing diesel engine oil changes. This is the full write-up on the engine flush www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/other-products/cleaners-and-protectants/engine-and-transmission-flush/?code=FLSHCN-EA?zo=5331179
I did my rear diff around 35,000 the first time in my 2015 Rex!! And it came out Clean !! Not thin and all!! I put Amsoil in my Diff!! 242,000 on my original Rear diff...No shavings at all ...! So I was stupid and bought the Cvt and no actual problems with the Cvt just a small sippage issue around 15,000 miles on it and I bought the car with 60 miles on it and Babied my car til 1400 miles and did my first oil change then!! I totally agree with Anthony!!! Subaru makes Awesome cars but at the same time things fail at a way Early point after buying a new car and try to gouge the Customer !! I really think it's the American dealership's not Subaru so Much ..When I first bought my car it was Flawless until shortly after the Dealership had my car for over almost 2 weeks since one day after I bought it told me bring it back the next morning to detail it ..Guess what someone scuffed my front bumper bad!!! Almost as if someone did that so they had my car to fix it!! I wish I would of said pay someone to fix the Scuff in my Driveway instead of leaving my new car out of my sight at the Dealership!!! You live and Learn 🌞 it's totally true I Agree with Anthony about Shame on Certain things going on in repair shops and Dealer's!!! Almost like some of them have in their mind appointments for future repairs to make more money for mods on their own personal car's !!!
EBEN, I AGREE WITH ANTHONY 100% ON HIS COMMITMENT BECAUSE I SEEN IT HAPPEN. AND THAT GIVES A BAD NAME TO THOSE GOOD N RELIABLE MECHANICS WHO DO A GREAT JOB ON PEOPLE CARS. I ALWAYS SAY "WHAT GOSE AROUND COMES AROUND." HAVE BEAUTIFUL HAPPY 4TH.OF JULY EBEN N ANTHONY. BE SAFE GOD BLESS
I had a feeling to compensate for the Heat... I'm in Arizona next to you guys like I talked about have 242,000 as of the other day lol I only have run 5w30 since I owned it I thought about 10w30 but just feel the oil was always clean and at the top area and I drove my car Delivering hard for 4 years ! I did 10,500 + deliveries in that time A lot of idling!! I really wanna get my valves walnut blasted ..I know my car would Be at 100 percent if I got that done!!! I hear ya with the 0w30 in colder weather.. Good to hear back from you! Just have one more question has Anthony noticed any difference with 10w30 ? Take longer to warm up or anything. I have a feeling it might be a even hotter soon so it was good idea you guys went with the 10w30..🤙
I wouldn't say Never Say Never..... I definitely think that car would be worth XXX........ There's always a price😃 I would buy one that's completely built for like thirty-six hundred bucks. $68,000 in parts and labor. I'd buy it for 3600 bucks.😉

Synthetic Oil Protection Thank you 👍🏽
That Valve cleaner will not clean the Valves. The FA20 only has direct inyection

Hey that's 10w30 suppose to be 5w30! Mods?
We did the 10:30 for the high heat and Vegas it'll just hold up a little bit better
If you lived up in Canada it would be good to use the zero 30
