- Hi everyone! Join me on my channel as I embark on the nomad life as a "female solo traveler" lol. Here is my no build SUV conversion with my 2011 Ford Expedition. Call it what you will: van conversion, suv conversion, car conversion -- excited to share it with you!

This is a very very good set up.
Practical, no wasted space, no build, ease of cleaning out for cleaning, extremely low cost, the vehicle can achieve better mpg, not ostentatious, low-key, ease of driving, better to maintain or repair, it can handle off road all terrain better, not complicated, everything within reach.
You've got a level table top flat roof to carry a kayak, a bike lashed down on top, or a canoe, or a paddle board, spare tires even.
You made the cabin very comfortable. Utilitarian. Cozy.
It is also easier to keep warm in such an uncomplicated space.
It is surely easier to keep clean and tidy.
You really know what you're doing.
Once you have a bed, some food, a way to charge your phone, run some light and a fan, who needs a build? How do you use
its great to do a no build before a real build. you learn so much! and just what you need.
Someone in a TH-cam video said the same thing. He said move in, then look around and see what you need and how and what you want to build.
@@nelsonbernier9335 itts the best way to go! i crammed so much stuff into my van i never needed before going camping and then realizing i needed basically a back pack and a sleeping bag. lol

What do you expect when you live in your vehicle? I’ve stayed in my 21 Hyundai Sonata for a week. And even I kept it as clean as I could, but you can only do so much trust me I have experience living in my vehicle more than once.
Best SUV you can buy a ex police vehicle. They're built like tanks and have badass beefed up motors.

I stayed in a Lincoln Towncar for about 5 years in the Austin area, on and off. Of course I had a full time job and had a gym membership, but did plenty of traveling and concerting on the weekends. Now I have a Ford Expedition as well, let's see how that changes things up. Only 3 videos in the same month, 9 months? Any updates? I hope everything is well...

No build on mine either just a memory foam, some bins for storage and a solar generator. I took all the seats out except the driver’s seat to maximize storage.

I have a 2007 buick rendezvous. I'm thinking about doing this. I have a 3rd row bench seat that folds down.. folded up, it would make a great couch! I do have a question though. What is your source of income? I know a lot of people just live off their TH-cam earnings, etc.. Thanks! And nice setup 😊

Just started the video. I had to chime in immediately regarding the "wooden balls seat cover". I hope you will consider something else because for many decades they have been recognized as a hazard in a collision. People have been known to roll out of place (seriously), their body going down under and out the seat belt. 😢

And I came into SUV life fulltime out of necessity cost of living all that stuff but im thinking about making this lifestyle permanent for now but yep thats my story so far so good just waiting to commit until I start my new job

Question now do you run your air conditioning a lot? being that it’s starting to get hot out I know down here in Florida. I ran my car for three hours straight with the air conditioning on because it was so humid outside. I actually fell asleep one night with the car running whoops.

Doing keto on the road? I’m doing keto/carnivore....heading out again in august...I’m also in an suv - Hyundai Sante Fe 2009. I also do tons of layers.....
I can just Imagine the amount of gas that SUV uses.
A van gets the same if not less, mpg.
A larger RV gets even less.
If towing a trailer, even less again.
A truck camper gets no better than the latter two.
The only way to better this set up for mpg is to go with a sedan car.
