In my experience, if a girl doesn’t let you pay for the first date she’s not interested. She knows she’s not interested and wants no obligation to you.

As a guy that dated about 30 women in the UK previous year.
- I payed 95% of the time, even on second & 3rd dates.
- The only one that actually seemed like they cared were single moms.
- After 2 dates, I got the "lets stay friend", only to never hear from them again (sometimes even blocked instantly).
- I asked 2 women after we dated and I got the "friend" thing, "what is actually wrong". And they dont say it. Its just random stuff they throw out. Even giving complements and stuff. and it ends with something like "not the right feeling". I am lost figuring it out.
- I dated one woman for a longer time. I realized she actually did not like me, she liked what we did and stuff, but not me as a person. When we broke up, she was gone. Blocked. nothing else anymore. Felt like it only confirmed what I thought.
- Dating honestly feels bad, especially when you look for something serious. Its on my profile, like very clear. And still you got so much BS. Im actually done now and just removed the apps.

What I'm hearing is a lot of Princesses wanting to be treated like Princesses but also wanting to be in control of the date and then really annoyed when the man doesn't take the lead. Great work ladies it's the reason men don't approach you anymore.
These girls are lovely but what they forget is standards it is a good way to route out the bad from the good. I think also the dating culture is different from US dating culture it is more casual and might involve a walk and so on rather than an expensive meal with big expectations. I 100% understand the girl that says about man paying and feeling under pressure that is a really good point. I have always thought that a guy and a girl should both pay FIRST DATE OR NOT, it`s fair you both are on a date, a man SHOULD NOT pay for a date or a woman unless they offer and if the woman makes it to where he has to pay I strongly believe she should have no say in where they go since he`s paying for it.
In the situation with the cost of living it`s selfish for a woman to expect the guy to pay especially for the fact that there are women that go on multiple dates with guys just to pick one, that`s messing with a guys emotions and you don`t wan that. so I'm glad that the women on here are being fair and are excepting to splitting the bill and not getting in their feelings if a guy wants to split the bill, it`s just common sense.
I had a friend that spent time and money on a woman just to get dumped later on that hurts when you put that investment in someone more so for a guy.
Ultimately a date is about getting to know each other, you don`t need to spend money to do they make your own food and eat that I would even go as far to say eating is just a distraction, you have to watch how you eat and talk.
Again I'm glad these women are being fair it`s just good for both people overall.
Going on multiple dates with different people is US culture it is frowned upon in Europe and especially doing so to get free food, very low class behaviour.

This will probably incite some negative feedback, however, over the years I have noticed that UK women (especially young women) are usually obese, if not morbidly obese. It was clear even back in the 90's that this is how it was going. the first girl in the interview is a lovely woman and very much down to earth, which is great! But if she had maybe not eaten so many burgers or ice cream, she would score over 4 on the looks scale. Such a shame.
The NHS says that men are still more likely obese than women, but I suspect this is a manipulated figure as I personally witness far more ultra fat women than men. I could be wrong. The motivation to shop for sweets and saturated fat may be a factor I underestimate, but it seems fat women are slaves to aforementioned ingredients.
I am a good looking British guy. I have had times where I have had a lot of money. I never approach women as it might seem like sexual harassment. A few times women have approached me for sex and I guess relationship after...but that is rare, and even rarer for the average looking guy.
Brit girls, you either have to be a heart throb or in a boy band to get noticed as a guy. 99% of the time you will get rejected, unless you have a shit load of money and can prove it, or be over 7' tall.

Social media has told women what they should be looking for and it's only a small amount of men who are ticking those boxes. In my late teens and twenties I dated beauty queens, lawyers, property developers and accountants as a very average looking tradesmen and now in my 30's I can't even get a first date and I'm in better shape and have better emotional awareness than I ever did before 🤣🤷♂
