I’ll start off by saying that these two phones aren’t natural competitors. People who think of buying either will probably not even care about the other phone. However, the rapid advancements in terms of technology have enabled devices lower down in the order to actually perform way better than they were ever able to and the gap between the phones especially in terms of camera has been reducing. So while I do get the huge price gap between the two and the entirely different target group for each, it still is a fun experiment for the sake of technology. Let’s see just how close or how far the Redmi Note 5 Pro and iPhone X are from each other in terms of camera.

I Know this sounds ridiculous, But I prefer the 5 pro image. Way better portrait mode (In the window shot the iPhone Failed), Sharper, Wider and higher res selfie camera with better skin tones and dynamic range and better mics. The iPhone has a better rear camera, video, and low light performance. Turning up the exposure is way easier than color correcting skin tones.
You're absolutely right. Thats why this comparison was made. Shocking that a phone thats a tiny fraction of the price of the other can perform so well and in some cases even beat it

ABH_4K cinematography official bro i am a xiaomi lover but still do you have any idea what you are sayin right now?? One plus5T is a flagship killer compared to iphoneX. Redmi note 5 pro may beat iphoneX in the camera aspect but its impossible to beat the one plus5T ahead.
Also,iphoneX's manufacturing has been stopped bcz of the problem with price to performance ratio....so,thus every brand is comparing iphoneX with their devices...
mohit bellur i have both phones, and believe me when I say, first of all it depends on your photography skills (ability to use pro mode provided in the phone) , putting that aside if you are a rookie you just can't beat OnePlus 5T with Redmi 5 pro, for most of time 5T is better. Audio is good on both but I like 5 pro just because of little bit of noise isolation, though my OnePlus one shines here because I love how it captures real and 3D binaural sound and makes you feel you are in the video! Anyway 5T will hold up to its name in sharpness, contrast, Colors, focus and image processing, it's just better in all aspects than 5pro but 5pro is worth the money tho. And one more thing.. 5T just fish out 5pro in low light tho.

Really, it's great to see a a pro is competing with x, and didn't find a major difference in terms of clarity except in low light shots, and pro do a outstanding job in portrait shot where I can see the sharpness of images much better than x. A good video revAtlas, plz do campare with high end device like x.

Really good video, regarding the front camera video recording Note 5 Pro has clear audio quality and the sounds come clean whereas in X I can hear some noise.

I never thought this will come up that nicely from 5pro, but the main issue in mi camera that when you go to shoot some video like in a concert or your bt speaker , it performs so poor in audio quality , both seen in note 4 and redmi 4 . But in iphone it isn't . hope you've noticed. Btw good to go in
