Bought in 2018 still using now work well no any problem of hardware and software no other issues or repair/replace I don't use mobile for gaming I don't do any custom modification or overclock I keep it as it is, what I miss is stock android which when I have moto G2
Note 5 pro mobile I don't like this. 1 problem network 2nd problem charging very very slowly and no battery backup.3rd problem. Rear camera not clear.

iam Ajith Kerala, I hope I will get a reply from your side, my problem is in my home area the network coverage for all most all cellular network is average ( almost 2 to 3 dots for 2g/3g)so iam facing low clarity & low internet connectivity issues.
but I will tell u a fact that during 2008-10 period I used Nokia mobile like e51,another Nokia Symbian phones, at that time with Airtel sim I guess..there was no issues and my calls were perfect with/without head set..at night or day time... actually now I miss that facilities I got at that periods
later on 2012 I had a Nokia Asha 200
and the call clarity was very poor (with BSNL/ Docomo sim)
then I switched to LG L60 and my experience was way better but with headset the calls seems cloudy..and not clear..even without headset calls became cloudy and non clear
in between.. personally I didn't used Samsung Mobile phones..but with my brother's Samsung J2 the calls without headset was fine..but I didn't get that perfection on 2008-10 times
as of now I'm using Lenovo K6 note.
again it's clarity is very poor..but at good coverage area it's working perfectly...

1) Why do people keep crying for USB type C port despite of the fact that it is a huge disadvantage. You often borrow chargers from friends if you forget your charger at home. But in the case of Type C you probably won't get it. (College/Relatives Place)
2. Android version should not be considered in Xiaomi devices. You have tonnes of MIUI 9 features which are simply absent in stock android. Moreover, MIUI 9 on every version of android will run the same features. :/

Mi A1/5X uses omnivision camera. not imx. Mi6/Mi Note 3 were the one that uses imx386.

I prebooked RN5 pro at a jio store in kolkata, they gave me a last date(31\march\18) to wait till the phone comes to them.
But as its coming closer and I haven't got the phone i called MI customer care, where they said that a lot of prebookings has been cancelled and refunded, due to low stock.

This wasn't the best comparison you are just promoting RN5pro. Where as mia1 is also a good quality phone in terms of camera. I am user of mia1 as well as RN5pro just to fake it .. you always change subject focus to ensure the best outcome on your side. RN5pro is also good and mi@1 is also make sure to give a better way to buyers..

Sad to know that 5 pro has no telescope lense . In mia1 it is very useful for me to take close up shots and portrait mode looks good in that lense. If redmi 5 pro had it I would have liked it 100% at this price range. Ranjith sir is the heating issue of redmi 5 pro that bad compared to mia1? I'm comfortable with mia1 heating.

The stock camera on mi a1 is terrible. After enabling camera 2 API and installing Google camera the photo quality is leaps and bounds better. Please try that Ranjit.

It's compare to Mi A1. Mi 5 pro is goo as per camera, video and game as well. There is no heating issue at all. It's has 4000 battery. It's plus point for Mit 5 pro.
Clearly the Redmi Note 5 Pro's audio quality while recording videos is much cleaner than the Mi A1 but lacks depth as compared to other phones.

and I noticed that sometimes the Mi A1 does give a warmer vibrant color than the 5pro,
