  • This is a simple and satisfying restoration of an old rusty machete. But I've decided to do it without power tools!

    The lack of power tools made this vid so much more satisfying to watch.

    I, too, would love to see a side-by-side at the end! It would make the finished product that much more impressive!
    Also, when I played this video for my husband, I had to go back to 2:56 to show off that mirrored finish. Amazing results. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see your workshop back up and running!

    Love your videos! I really like that you don’t feel the need to add cheesy music and let us enjoy the work sounds. Very nice. I think that you should add a side-by-side or fade at the end though, showing a before and after. Would make it all that much more impressive. Keep up the good work!

    awesome! I have a pair from my grandpa, I want to restore and use them but they are still sentimental. They have plastic handles are probably from the 80s. How do you sharpen them? Should I change handles? what kind if i do? what products and order of grit sandpaper did you use? what did you use to polish? type of adhesiveness did you use? If i use a wood handle what kind do you recommend? Sorry for all the questions. But thank you

  • @TheMrthegovman
    @TheMrthegovman 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Nice restoration, though I think maybe a hacksaw, the type with the .25 inch blade, would've helped make the making of the handle easier since you can manupulate the blade easy to cut curves with them.

    Very good video. I want this guy working for me. At that speed he could do 3 days work in 8 hours. Employee of the month. Thumbs up. Thanks
