Looks to me a DAK machete. I would have done some research before a restoration of such a machete..
Original and " untouched " DAK material is Very scarce and expansive .

That handle is very blocky. I’d thin it out by half, makes your finger grooves larger, so they meet and you have a better grip. Thats my 2 cents.

No worries mate. I have a machete just like yours. I’ve had it for over 20 years. The handle on mine was horrible too, really fat and blocky. I’ve thinned it out a lot, put a finger choil on the blade and a mirror edge. It’s way sharper than it needs to be but I like my knives sharp. I wish I could share a photo of it. It lives beside my bed.😉
