Wow! What a fantastic restoration on this old rusty knife. You made a very beautiful handle too. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to subscribe to your channel. I really enjoyed watching this video. Looking forward to many more 😀
Brilliant restoration mate. Does anyone know what this style of machette is called i have a Martindale the same shape but i cant find anything about it. All the best - Jim

I've been wondering when someone would steel one of these from work and do a video. Just kidding very cool I've seen the clean milatary grave stone with this kind of laser thanks for sharing 👍.
That's your opinion. Actually was looking ugly because of hundreds of rust pits and in 1 week all the rust will reappear. Now looks amazing with almost mirror finish like this machete used to have. I really didn't saw any kind of "laser patina" in my life...
@@rustyshadesrestoration Machetes usually don't have a mirror finish. It is usually a brushed metal finish. They are tools that get used so any mirror finish will be gone very quickly.

I'm going to pretend that Danny Trejo was smiling approvingly at you off-camera the whole time.
😆 😅🤣
Question about the laser. Does it vaporize the rust? Do you wear a mask/ventilator when you do it?
It does! You can see in the video that and there is a ventilator too. Mask it is mandatory!
I remember how lasers were touted as feared death rays. To see them as rust removers is so cool.
Please…. Kill the cricket noise.
The restoration looks great but the chirping is quite irritating
shape lame???? no restoring? inaccuratly work. you must perfectoryng.
🥰
He didn't stop the rust, he just removed most of it. There's a big difference
Passed almost 2 years since I restored this machete and there is no rust on it.
Impressive! I wonder what that machete was for... I hope it was an agricultural tool!
I hope so too!
Really nice work!!we need more videos like this keep it up mate :)
Thanks mate! Cheers 🍻
Whoa! Incredible...and the nature sounds were a plus!! ❤
Glad you enjoyed!
How many watts the laser has? Is it pulse or continuous laser ? Great job👏
Only 200w and yes, it is a pulse laser.
do you want to buy?
I hope you ate those apples & didn't waste them !
I never waste food! 😀

Thank you, Jim. I have no idea, but maybe someone will see your comment and reply.
did you buy it from China?we are manufacturer.
Hi, no. I was renting this one in order to create my video scene. I hope you liked my work! 🙂

One of my favourites so far! This laser is so cool man!
Thanks bro! 👊 I'm glad you like it 🙂
With the cricket in the back ground I feel all you need is a little buddy Holly to go with it lol
As you old saying goes, practice makes perfect
Witch brand and type laser cleaner are you using ?
Very cool, well done. I love the laser cleaning thingy. (sounds expensive)😊
Thanks buddy! I'm glad you enjoyed the laser. Yeah, "only 35k euros" 😅
Wich cleaner are you using ?
Sandblasting would be faster and more thorough. Just sayin.
I know, but a bit of diversity doesn't kill. Cheers!
Where does the rust go when you laser it? Does it just evaporate into the air? How much was that thing!?
Goes to ventilation system and the laser cost around 35k $
Patiently sanding, then sawing the wood, and patiently shaping the handle. That's craftsmanship!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
And with that one I officially saw all of the video you uploaded on the channel ^^
I do that with the content creators I like the work of ^^
Thank you so much for watching my videos! I do the same when I like a creator. Cheers! Johnny 🙂

😆
Rusty Spanish machete, not Spanish rusty machete.
I finished editing very late. Sorry for that!
You gotta turn up the strength of the lazer.
This one is a smaller laser. Has less power.

Hahah. Good one! 👍 Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Steel 'cause he cleaned the rust not steal bc it was stolen from work. Good one! I see what you did there.

😅
Nice job ! 👍😊
Thank you so much!
Wow, turned out beautiful
Thanks Val. Glad you like it 🙂
hello, Mr. Apple
What a waste. After the laser it has great patina and character, then you sanded it anyway and lost all that.

This one had and the thing is that I will never use it for cutting bushes. It is made to stay in a collection. Sharp and shinny 😁
Wow, what an effect 😃
Thanks for watching 🍻
Where can I get a laser like that?
You can find a lot of dealers online, especially from China. A decent one can be around 30-35k dollars.
