For expensive items I rather use buy now pay later I got cards from Amazon, PayPal, Home Depot, bjs etc.just for that, I literally gave up on the 5/24, and I was able to get Marriott boundless from Chase (5 nights free) recently with 12/24 lolo😅

@@AnthonyVenture actually, the advantage for me is that I have more time to pay For exemple. I bought my MacBook for $820, PayPal credit split my payments in 4 or 6 weeks/months with 0 interest. So does Amazon credit, Home Depot credit BJ’s credit cards etc. yeh I would not get points. But some of them give me cash back or store points.
Pretty much I keep my money invested
So basically... cash back is king!
I think like Luke says, a lot of folks would do better with a cash back setup if used correctly!

For future reference if you get approved for a chase card you can add it to your wallet by clicking on the card then click on manage account then it should have an option of digital wallet which adds the card to Apple Pay. Nice redemption

@@AnthonyVenture yes it’s so clutch but you might have to give chase a call if they declined the purchase happened to me with the CSP. I tried to buy a 1000 dollar gift and it declined when I used Apple Pay.

Just keep all of the receipts/documentation. Maybe also record your decision process for making the purchase this way. That’s only for the event that you get audited. Just to file with the deduction, you’ll have no issue.

Nothing wrong with redempitons like this. You'll make a ton of money with that Laptop! In my notso humble opinion, all you brokies should be taking cash back. It never made sense to me for low income people to spend thousands ( in points ) traveling.
For a moment I thought you wrote “bookies” and thought I was back in NY 😂, but no for sure! Effectively a cash back setup with my Schwab which I could just get done with no annual fee cards. I guess without the points I earned over the years etc but you know how it is.
