My ex had a joking manner with a dark side. I really enjoy watching your podcast. I can relate to much of what you say 90% minimally!
I wasn't too sure about watching your first video, as I am not actively seeking a man.
I don't remember what the title was, however, I did watch it and I really enjoyed it! You are intuitive, intelligent, humorous, and a little bit of an ass😂 But aren't we all?
I think you give sage advice 👍👍 And I'm glad that you lead by a example 🙏
Because a second date is exactly when you should let it be known that 'I already know we're not the right fit long-term '
Bravo. I respect your ethics why not having sex with her since you already know, That you're not the best fit. So many men don't care because they know they're planning on moving on anyway eventually.
I am 2 years out about 11 and 1/2 year relationship. And we did connect on the spiritual, intellectual and emotional levels. The physical stamina dropped off somewhere around year 8. He had failed to tell me when we first became intimate that he was taking Viagra every time we saw each other. That was the first year and a half of the relationship. However, I loved him dearly, I still do. So I chose to stay in affectionate, loving, mutually respectful, but for the most part. Sexless relationship. Occasionally things would work But we probably had sex about once. Maybe twice a year.
The precipice for this happening was the loss of his son (He was my son too. Just not biologically) He went into the water while he was wade got pulled under by a riptide and that was 7 years ago June 23rd, He was 3 months away from his 20th birthday. 😥
Going through that experience together, the 39 hours that we looked for with him when he was in the water. That is a pond that no one else will ever have with him. Even Jacob's biological mother could not be there the entire time. Her older son was in the hospital with a bone infection in his leg. Jacob had been at the hospital with his brother two straight weeks prior to his passing. It was after this event that sex and pretty much intimacy in all forms came to a screeching halt. And I understood why He began to withdraw and Drake to excess. A hard liquor not just beer. That's when things really started falling apart. Everything became my fault. He became even more narcissistic than he was before.
I was bound to determine I was not going to let him push me away and isolate!
I felt to realize this is something I could not ever fix. There was not enough love in the entire world to take away that bitterness and the anger he had inside.
After Jacob passed I was not allowed to feel my feelings, much less expressed them. No one around him could be depressed. Their feelings were not valid because his son had died.
If I told him I had a bad day, he would scream and yell about his bad day, when his son died. What he failed to realize was that I had lost Jacob also. What's more, he didn't care because my loss was not as great as the he one suffered. From then on out whatever mood he was in I had to mimic in order to keep peace in the house, and I did because I love him.
Well it eventually fell apart, it was like a locomotive going full speed ahead to its eventual derailing.
We are friends now, although he tries to hide it, there's still an undercurrent of lava just below the cool surface. Not to say that everything was his fault, it wasn't, I played a role in the demise of our relationship.
Neither one of us have dated since the split because it was not about infidelity, it was not about money, it was about overwhelming, debilitating grief and anger.
Grief is just love that has no place to go😢
But I just wanted to say how much you are appreciated, I really enjoy your videos, and I am deeply sorry for the loss of your son❤ And I would be honored to make a donation in his name.

I think dating more than one person at a time, is a young person's thing. As we age, its confusing, and as you say, disrespectful. If i meet a guy and the conversation keeps flowing well even, i pause and focus on him until we meet and see if there is chemistry too. I don't like the contemporary names and slogans attached to women when they are serious or uptight. ie Karen, or resting bitch face. I find it mean and sexist. Ive met plenty of grumpy older men! Who seldom smile, where's the names for them?
