Hi Richard!! Nice to see you here. I adore my buddy Jonathon. He is truly the only colleague who has ever assisted me in anyway… You hear me talking about how he was the one who told me my SEO sucked. And he was right. And it was costing me views. Jonathon is a good guy with good intentions. And in a world of marketers, who have come into this niche to cash out on people's misery and despair, Jonathon is a bright light a a coach who cares.

@@user-jt7of2ln4h It's a power move. And controlling. Real love and commitment happens much more organically. And the resistance to commit and put another through their paces is attempt to try to gain power over them, psychologically as well as emotionally.

It can also be fears. Common with FA's and DA's. They can sabotage relationships. Patterns of behavior.

I have to tell the truth. And I know it's funny, but it's true. I wish I could be Modern. I wish I could isolate the playful act to be just that. But in truth, I have no desire to be with a partner unless I truly feel them on a deeper level. Then, all the explosive chemistry comes alive.

I’m inclined to agree! I say the same thing when this is being discussed. I did a live “hot seat” about someone I reunited with but never slept with… good thing being he was full of excuses. As you said- didn’t want to commit, had excuses about everything- why would I do anything with him? While I’m no Angel, it takes a lot for me to allow these guys do whatever… plus, we need more than one encounter… the first time is usually a bit clumsy 🫣🤭😂 I was cracking up too because it’s true! My first question now is “what are your intentions regarding a connection?” And I picture Jonathan with his rifle lol 😂 great talk!

I’m all for a spiritual marriage with an agreement put in place for commitment but I think there needs to be some form of penalty or loss if one person breaks the contract. It can’t be only about each other’s expectations in the relationship. Obviously the legal one with the government bears too much loss and that’s why many people nowadays shy away from it. But if there is no consequence to defaulting an agreement then what does it matter if we write one up or not. It doesn’t hold much weight.

Susan Winter is one of the best relationships coaches I have personally hired that spoke to the high level, self-aware and independent woman I am. She is money well spent even if you are paying for what you already know. Her guidance has never steered me wrong and now I am dating men at my level, at my emotional availability and at my independence. She is brilliant at what she does. Hi Jonathan & Susan Winter! This was a great segment. Sorry I missed it. Im having a busy work season at the moment & have had some hard situations at home & work as another client is terminally ill. But, Im picking up a new case & studying for a certification in my field. Also, my boys are home for the summer too. But, just checking in to say I love your flow with one another & Susan's style resonates with me as well. As for me, Im still hurting from my recent break up from the Sarg and she helped me understand (as you did too) that waiting was ok, when i reunited with him because he was a man of value. Living in 2 different states, despite not being too far, provided just enough of a barrier between us despite any efforts or suggestions I made or how attracted we are to eachother. Of course the good thing is, I still kept my sovereignty lol. 🤭 😂
Thank you both for helping us here & me to sort these things out. Because yes, people don't think about the financial nor the value of loyalty and integrity people bring in at our age. Unless you're born into it, we didn't have the financial situations we did when we were younger...and quite honestly, i dont want midlife crisis guy who drives a Lamborghini with a new woman in the passenger seat every other day... I'll take Mr. SUV guy whose going to bring me to the park or the beach with the dog & the kids & throw frisbees, then make smores with wine at the firepit in our outdoor theater until we all pass out...I say my love language is BBQ 😅 -of course everything else will be 💥💥💥 but we just need to sort it out first. I think if you can laugh together and enjoy eachother and have that easy flow, the rest will come...don't you think?

@@SherriFlemming thanks- I've been so broken up because on top of the loss of the relationship, a few of my Clients passed & as noted, lost another account because one more became ill, poor family...My heart hurts from all of this & besides mourning, my business is headed down the tubes as I deal with a very toxic ex. Having the kids home isn't helping much but I'm trying to get them out to camp or anything that I can find... So, I needed to take a step back and just breathe... like the song says... So, yes, if you encounter someone who isn't matching your own energy and are in a different place emotionally than you, why entertain that? Thanks for your support- hugs 🥰

Jonathan: If you don’t know if you want to commit to a person because you don’t know her well yet, do you become exclusively with her while you get to know her being possibly intimate, or you date others? What I find some men do is continue to see others, meaning open relationship while they find a best match.

We have couples contracts for common law in Canada. Equivalent to a preniptual agreement.
Among other things, I want to meet someone who isn't obsessed, in awe of, or a sucker for appearances and personas--but rather, the person wants depth, and when there's a true connection, it's only then that the person is attracted to the girlfriend/partner. I don't know if I'm wishful thinking. But that's how I am, so there's got to be another like that somewhere.
