കേരളത്തിൽ സ്പീഡ് ഹൈവേകൾ വന്നു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. മൈലേജ് നോക്കി പപ്പടം വാങ്ങിയാൽ പുതിയ ഹൈവേയിലെ അപകടങ്ങളിൽ പെട്ടു മണ്ട വെച്ചു മണ്ണിനടിയിൽ പോകും. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഇനിയങ്ങോട്ട് ഏതു ബ്രാൻഡ് ആയാലും ഒരു വാഹനം സെലക്ട്‌ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ നോക്കിയും കണ്ടും സെലക്ട്‌ ചെയ്യുക. ഇത്രയും നാൾ കാറിൽ പോകുന്ന ഒരു ഫാമിലി മുന്നിലുള്ള KSRTC യുടെയും ഓട്ടോക്കാരുടെയും പിറകിൽ മിനിമം സ്പീഡിൽ നിരങ്ങിയത് കൊണ്ട് വലിയ ഇടികൾ കുറവായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് ആരും അപകട മരണങ്ങൾ അധികം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല. ഇനി അങ്ങനെ ആയിരിക്കില്ല കാര്യങ്ങൾ. 80-100 KM സ്പീഡ് ഹൈവേയിൽ ഒരു പപ്പടം അപകടത്തിൽ പെട്ടാൽ മിനിമം വാരി കൂട്ടി എടുക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥയിൽ ആയിരിക്കും. ഭാഗ്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ മാത്രം യാത്രക്കാർ രക്ഷപെടും.
