2005 Chevy 2500HD Silverado CV Axle Replacement

In this video I go over the replacement of the CV Axles on a 2005 chevy 2500 HD Silverado 4x4. These can also be called Half-Shafts, or CV Shafts. CV stands for Constant Velocity. They are similar in idea to U-Joints but they transfer power with minimized friction and minimized loss of torque at any steering angle.
Tools I used:
Small Air Compressor
½ inch drive Impact Gun
½ inch drive pneumatic ratchet
½ inch drive ratchet
(2) 3-inch Extensions (used on the Pneumatic Ratchet to get the (6) 15mm bolts out quicker)
Lug Nut socket
21mm Socket
21mm Wrench
15mm Socket
36mm Impact Socket
Ball Peen Hammer
Small flat head screwdriver
Large flat head screwdriver
As with my previous Nissan Altima Videos this is something just about anyone with minimal automotive knowledge can accomplish.
